Re: DailyAppropriatingCultures (Part 97)
She called Luna a "chicken murderer" once before-- a few months ago. So she knows that Luna will go after the chickens, or escape, and not only leaves Luna outside, but leaves the coop open too?
Sounds like she's looking for an excuse to re-home Luna. Or maybe I'm reaching...

Re: DailyAppropriatingCultures (Part 97)
I just don't understand how Missy has a lack of attachment to animals. It's kind of gross. You know she's getting rid of all the roosters and I don't get it...if I got baby chicks (which I probably wouldn't because I don't have land for it or experience), I would be attached immediately and would hate to get rid of them if most of them turned out to be roosters. I'd hate to get a cat and get rid of it. I'd hate to get a dog and keep it outside or in a cage even when I'm sitting right there. I just don't get her at all...where are her emotions? It's like she has limited love and it all went to her parents.

I know this is mainly what posters on another board have posted about Ellie liking novelty, but I think the same can be said about Missy.
She only likes pets when they are new. After a week or so they no longer mean anything to her. If you really think about it the only things she truly treasures are the things that are hers (aka karma, her phone, her grandmother’s ring, wallet, Ollie, Finn) and the things that are handed down to her by her family. Could explain why she has no relationship with Bryan’s family, her having to make attempts to show affection towards Bryan, or the things Bryan give her don’t last long.

Re: DailyAppropriatingCultures (Part 97)
Overview of today's vlog:
Ollie beating Finn senseless with a pillow, Bryan expecting us to be surprised that they still have Halloween candy left for some reason, Missy wiping Finn's nose for the first time in his 2 years of life, and Ollie learning how to vlog better, as if that's a good thing.

Missy can’t show anyone or anything affection except her parents, and I bet she only feels that way towards her parents because they’re at the snap of her fingers. It’s one of
the strangest things about her imo because I can’t wrap my head around how someone does not care.

Yeah! I mean, we know he lies! Remember the brownies?marshmallowfluf wrote:Why were the so quick to believe ollie when he said that finn was the one who drew on their faces? The look on ollies face says otherwise, and i would think a 2 year old would write on carpet or the walls before he thought of doing it on his own face.. but who knows. It just made me sad to think that finn will always be the one to get in trouble as they get older because prince ollie would never do wrong.

The scene with the makeup seemed staged like a product placement to me. They showed a closeup of the makeup and made sure to mention the type it was. Sort of like the weird scene with the snickers in their closet.JVK19 wrote:2 things: the truth about the chickens finally came out! We all called it! And the second thing, I love how Bryan says Ollie wants to go to a playground but we want to lay in bed and play video games. I knew right then that they were going to play video games all day. Wow. So fun for your kids to watch you play Nintendo all day! Maybe that's why they stole your makeup

I think it's the church property's cart. I've been to a church where you take a shuttle from the parking lot to the actual church. I guess that means the church they go to has a lot of property.princessanp wrote:

Re: DailyAppropriatingCultures (Part 97)
I was thinking they showed what it was so the Minions wouldn't go and try to put permanent marker on as eyeliner: "but it's what Missy uses, mom...I thought it was ok!". But it could be product placement too. Either way I think they are ridiculous for letting their children draw eyeliner all over their face either for vlog footage or because they were too lazy to be watching them.yoyo16 wrote:The scene with the makeup seemed staged like a product placement to me. Re: DailyAppropriatingCultures (Part 97)
I just don't understand why she wanted to be a mother so BADLY. Unless she was like one of the girls in my high school who wanted a baby because "it will love me". When Finn was a baby and she did his update, the best she could say about him was "He's a good nurser". Poor kid was doomed from the moment Missy found out he was a boy. And they are talking about another? WHY? I mean, besides views, which is a terrible reason to bring a child into the world.spacekitty wrote:Missy can’t show anyone or anything affection except her parents, and I bet she only feels that way towards her parents because they’re at the snap of her fingers. There's lots of big churches like that in Southern California. It's weird to me.princessanp wrote:coolusername1236 wrote:I think it's the church property's cart. Re: DailyAppropriatingCultures (Part 97)
The more I think about it, the more this theory makes sense (to me, at least): Missy's mom spoke about desperately wanting a baby at 18, when she got married. Missy also got married at 18, and I have a hunch that there was a lot of pressure to have a baby because ~grandbabies. No baby. She got a divorce instead. M&B blame the marital breakdown on communication issues - I think it's more along the lines of someone not communicating that the person they were married to was not the person they wanted to be married to at the time. But anyway. After lots of guilt trips from a certain family, they 'decide' to make another go of it and start trying for a baby because Bandaid Babies always make things better.lmmomSD wrote:I just don't understand why she wanted to be a mother so BADLY. Are those Finn's socks &shoes?
Why can't they dress the kids before they leave the house?

I was able to actually understand Ollie when Missy asked him what happened with the makeup.
Being unscripted helps, B & M.

Re: DailyAppropriatingCultures (Part 97)
Missy should get onesie's with the booties so they can make a vlog titled "Toddlers and Giant Toddlers Trapped in Onesies" hahaha 3:46 - this is clearly what Missy is doing the entire time BryLard is changing diapers, getting the boys dressed and making breakfast....yeah you got real lucky their BryButt...good going! I just can't deal with their weird parenting of letting the kids do whatever they want, eat frozen food and candy all day and shoved in front of the tv or video games until bed time....they are little kids that should be out playing with friends, going to play places, learning to ride their bikes...oh wait they filmed that already so that's over and done with! I mean does Mithy even need those chickens, they eat out every single day - what does she need to collect eggs for now??
