And of course, that it's not finished, but Ashley has carpeting in her "office" because she hates having cold feet. If it was finished, and we had any inkling that they were going to be downstairs with the girls, that would be different. What you're talking about-- the parents doing work in the basement while the girls have a little play area and)or craft table-- probably won't happen.
Edit: forgot to quote! I was responding to becca85, although you all probably figured it out.

I agree with you there. The girls are way too young to be put down there alone. Especially with it unfinished. I think most of us in their current situation would prop those doors to her office open and let that be a playroom for the time being. Her office would be better suited upstairs or in the basement where the girls can’t get into her things anyway.
Does she even need an office to sell Lipsense? Doesn’t Amanda do most of that? After being lied to & taken advantage of by 2 distributors I can honestly say that company is a scam. I will never order from them again.

Do tell.
A girl that I know does the application videos in her Senegence group. She was going on about how if you are going to buy a lot of the products you’re better off signing up as a distributor to get the discount. She said that’s what she did originally and it doesn’t make sense to not be a distributor when you’ll save so much money. So I was going to sign up. I asked her about it, how much the fee is, if there’s a minimum purchase required to keep your status, etc. Told her I had absolutely no interest in selling, I just wanted to buy discounted product for personal use. She avoided my questions with a response of “It’s only a $55 fee and then you’ll save 20-50% off of your order! It makes no sense not to become a distributor when you can save that much! Here’s my distributor ID, be sure to put it in when you register!”
Then I had another girl message me that I had to sign up under her instead. She also failed to tell me the real deal with the distributor status.
A part of me felt like something was off. If it was that easy how would the company survive if everyone signed up and got the discount? There would be no point in not being a distributor to save that much. So I Googled it... the fee is annual not one time only, you have to have a minimum purchase of $200 worth of product I think every 6 months (it’s been a while so this # may be a little off), and that big discount? Yeah, I can save 50% if I place an order of at least $600!
So why would they push someone like me to waste my money on that? Why is that option even being marketed to people who don’t want to sell? Oh- it’s because, “Building your down line is where the money is at. Few people make decent money by actually selling the products.” Exact quote from a friend who is a distributor.
