The only way, apparently, that these "parents" are going to protect their little moneymakers is if it hits them in the wallet. Sorry, but this really, really makes me angry. Parents have been told that perverts were watching their vlogs, and they kept on posting things they knew would titillate. And _now_ they're whining about it.

If I need to rant in the password protected thread, I'm sorry. I don't want to trigger anyone.

So interesting! She didn't exactly seem happy. No way she's pregnant, but she wants to be. Or she's jealous that Natalia is going to steal her spotlight. If Missy isn't pregnant already, she's going to be!

I thought Bryan had an appropriate and supportive reaction though. Seemed like he was truly happy and excited for them.

Plus, Natalia has _girls_. The Holy Grail.

Now I feel like I'm a fairly laid back parent so far (my son is only 19 months though), but that's just a blatant disregard for your house & possessions.

And I agree that Missy's reaction was super weird. She just keeps repeating "no no no, no way, you're joking, this isn't real right?". It would be fine if she followed it up with a small congratulations or something, but she gives them nothing! Giving her the benefit of the doubt that she was actually tearing up from being happy for them...the girl just seriously needs to work on her basic fucking common courtesy.

Missy’s reaction to Tal was definitely weird. She somehow made it about her without even saying anything about herself.

I had to google that type of tree - surprise, surprise, it’s newer to the American Christmas tree market and on the more expensive side. As usual, they have to go for the the trendiest, priciest stuff!

Finn putting the star on the tree was the most adorable thing I’ve ever seen. But of course they took it down and had Ollie put it back up

Bryan, if you are self conscious about how your body looks in other people’s vlogs, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! Go on a walk with your kids and your dogs! Stop eating crap, and embrace your love of cooking! Don’t let your unsupportive wife drag you down because she doesn’t like most foods! Cool healthy meals for yourself and your kids. Get a chef to come in a few times a week. Put in a home gym. Stop pissing away your money on stupid stuff, and invest in your life and the lives of your children! If you don’t, there will be a day very soon where you can’t cover up your belly fat just by awkwardly crossing your arms over your stomach!

I just watched the Johnson video. Missy's reaction made me cringe. She wasn't even trying to act happy. Why is she always so pissy? Not everything is about her. She's an adult. She should know how to be happy for other people.

They’re always doing gross stuff like this. I’m just waiting for their annual stomach bug, where they invite everyone they know over while they are sick and drag sick kids out needlessly. The Typhoid Lannings will strike again this winter, I’m sure.

It was really sweet seeing them actually spend quality time together, and decorating the tree. Finn's reaction when he put that ornament on the tree was SO CUTE! I feel like if they put HIM in every thumbnail (unlike Ollie) they'd get more views!

I think Missy acted that way, because she is DEFINITELY jealous. She tries so hard to look happy to the point where it's weird. If you're uncomfortable, just say congrats, give a hug, and even if you're not actually happy, it still looks believable!

Missy is pregnant and they will reveal soon. She's been ballooning for a month and doesn't show her stomach anymore. If they do she's wearing loose clothing. Not form fitting like she used to. Moving Finn into ollies room.... making room for something eh..... or it's going to be storage for all the crap they have

I think it’s partly because they all got into YouTube around the same time with kids the same age, and they’ve just all hit the point of being ready for more babies around the same time. Just the natural spacing between kids, I guess. Most family vloggers are young, and, let’s face it, the kids are what makes their vlogs take off. So all these YouTubers are basically in the same stage of life - young and starting families.

But getting baby fever from seeing other YouTubers probably plays into it, too. I know everyone always says they plan it that way for the views, but I *hope* none of them actually think that way! I mean, if you’re going to have a baby anyway and it helps your channel, whatever. But to get pregnant just as a “career move” or because all the other vloggers are doing it...I hope they don’t actually do that. It’s hard to tell sometimes.

I've always thought that they really do love the boys, and they also use them for the channel. Either way, it sounds wrong, but it'd be cruel if they genuinely didn't love those boys. I think they do though.

Today’s vlog was hands down their best vlog in at least 2 years. Decorating the tree was the most “regular people” thing I’ve seen them do since Missy used to time lapse folding laundry.
When she jumped up and down to celebrate with Finn every time he got excited about successfully hanging an ornament, she was like a normal mom.

Nothing was too over the top. Just an average family experience. Too bad it’ll be another 2 years until we see another vlog like this.

I was thinking the same thing. Same, same, same to everything you said! The whole entire day was super normal and the kids were both charming. It was also nice to hear Bryan engage in actual dialogue with Oliver instead of just feeding him lines and yes-no questions. I thought it was also super sweet that they let both boys take a turn at putting the star on top.

Also -- HOLY SMOKES on the Johnson Fam pregnancy announcement! I am so surprised. I stopped watching their videos sometime late last Spring, so I had no idea that was even on the horizon for them.

Wow, so it’s happening. That definitely means there will be a baby #soon. They’re really getting serious now that Ellie and Tal are pregnant.

This poor future Lanning kid better be a girl - for baby’s sake. I remember her grudgingly saying in her “true gender reveal reaction” video that she supposed could handle it if #2 was a boy, but it #3 was yet *another* boy, she would be upset. All while over-enunciating the word “BOY” like she does...so always sounds like she’s trying to tpit out dithguthting vegetableth when she says it.

We have all seen what handling it means when it comes to Finn. That baby better be a girl.
