This is not commonly done (saving baby teeth)? I have a little tin that reads ‘My Baby Teeth’, when I was in elementary school, these tins were sold as merchandise with fun characters printed on them! :O

I don't think the midwives were pushing for Missy to keep laboring. She wanted her vbac. My understanding was that _she_ wanted to keep trying. And of course, she had to put on her special brand new makeup so that she looked just right for the C-section photo shoot. The docs wanted to get him out. They don't encourage an obviously stuck woman to keep pushing. They just don't. Nobody on the team likes emergency C-sections. They like to be able to go in and do the surgery and get the baby out without stress.
Anyone else remember it this way too? Because it's a topic that has been heavily discussed here. Not trying to reopen the can of worms. Just trying to keep her story straight.

That’s not how I remember it at all. Was she upset that she had to have a c-section? Definitely. But if you watch both the birth vlog and then her birth story, it very much sounds like she had terrible midwives (who maybe were trying to avoid the whole transfer of care thing that happens when the OB has to take over for a section).

Missy was out of it. She’d been in real labour for over 40 hours. She had been given 3-4 doses of castor oil and had been labouring and shitting for hours. She was in no frame of mind to make any sort of decisions, and I can’t in the least hold her responsible for what her midwife team did to her.

There are a lot of things we can criticize her for relating to her pregnancy with Finn. Her labour and delivery really isn’t one of them. She couldn’t control a brow presentation, she was taking the advice of her midwives, and she was exhausted. She had a whole family in there that should have been advocating for her.

I agree that there should have been people advocating for her. And that she couldn't control brow presentation. But I will agree to disagree on some of the other things partially because I don't want to go back and watch again to see if my memory is correct, (because I remember her saying she wanted to try longer, but maybe I am wrong) and partially because we are way into dead horse territory on this topic. It's been discussed ad nauseum.

I think this requires a rewatch to clarify. I remember IG like lmmomsd does. I definitely think Missy was driving the bus a lot on that one. I don't even think the Castor Oil was he midwives advice was it? Didn't we think it was Missy's doula she was taking a lot of her medical advice from?

It's weird. If you go to Social Blade, almost _every_ family vlogger had this peak in July 2016 of both subscribers and views. They've been drifting downward ever since. Even though they're getting subscribers still, and views, the _rate_ is declining.
And even though B&M are getting more subscribers, their views aren't climbing that much. I don't get why they all seem to have peaked in July 2016.

I hate to think they're having a baby for views alone, but I really do think there's a keeping up with the Joneses aspect to it. I don't think Missy is pregnant really now, because she's been drinking in the instastories at least. And she just had the Botox. But maybe I'm wrong. It's happened before, and Missy does what she wants anyway.

Regarding Bryan's post, I think he was trying to be hip. I'm Christian, and I personally don't find it offensive, but I definitely think it was unnecessary. You should care more about your actual feelings rather than your 12 year old followers.

Have they mentioned Jesus' relationship with Christmas to Ollie in the vlogs at all? I have yet to see any reference. I'm not saying that they need to make a whole vlog about it-- I would find that skeevy, actually. But at least once say, "you know, Ollie, Christmas isn't _just_ about presents and Santa. It's also Jesus' birthday". They have no problem telling him dinosaurs aren't extinct. Maybe they tell him off camera. But for some reason, I don't think so. So sad. And that can be said for Finn and Ollie. Ollie acts like a different kid around Cassie! She’s one of the few people who talks with him and not _at_ him. I hope she continues to be an influence on those kids.
