You can block channels. You just have to do it from the channel's main page. At least you used to be able to....
I'll check again. I looked a few months ago and on the Kids app you had no way to block anything. Maybe they have updated it since then.
Weird. I blocked DB and Ryan's Toy Review months ago. Maybe it matters which device the app is on?

I eventually just took YT Kids away from my kid and decided to pay for educational mo they subscriptions so I could control what he watches instead. There was too much crap on YTK with little value in my opinion.

If missy and Bryan have another baby Finn will definitely be the forgotten middle child. I fear for his future. One of my teachers was a forgotten middle child and then that led her on to be cruel and violent (no joke). I was bullied by her and she shoved me into a wall. I really hope that Finn gets all the love and attention he needs, he’s such a sweet toddler.

They would be paying for full time regardless. I bet if you asked the school the "option" part of it is bullshit. Maybe every now and then, but not daily.

LOL how funny is it that she now says that its a "waste of time" for him to play with his friends, when just a few months ago teaching him things was a waste of time bc him playing was more important... She talks in so many circle.

The fires are NO WHERE near them so if they try and capitalize off of it and act like they’re so afraid, I’ll lose my shit. My mom and best friend both had to be evacuated yesterday and I had to attempt to find a way home from work yesterday to gather my things due to another fire. My friend uncle lost his entire home and a friend from high school lost hers as well.
Bryan better keep his mouth shut on this topic. Image

Those fires are dreadful. So heartbreaking how fast they are moving! Stay safe!!

Bryan reminds me of David from schitt's Creek.. I just binged it this past weekend.. Pansexual is nothing to be ashamed of.. All any of us want is to be loved, Bry.

I'm so sorry to hear about that, i hope everyone stays safe, it breaks my heart to hear.

I asked bc i have no clue where they are on a map, and i saw one thing on twitter that showed Temecula in a heightened warning area, but i think im correct in assuming they don't live in that area anymore.

It's way far away from them. It's in Bel-Air, where the REALLY rich people live, like old movie stars and Steve Martin and Nicolas Cage. There's also some fires in the Ojai area, which is way north, near Santa Barbara. If they try to clickbait off this, I will be done for sure. There is a major Santa Ana going on, so there conceivably could be a fire near them, but there isn't one right now.

So wait-- playing at home is ok, but playing at school with friends and getting socialization and language development is "wasting time". What a weirdo.

PlaysinRain, they are still in the greater Temecula area. They are on heightened alert because of the winds and dry conditions, but that just means everyone needs to be extra careful. Not that there's actually a fire.

I don't believe for a second that Bryan pushed her to go that far and just failed to step in for her. Missy had to ask Mimi to help her figure out how she felt about things, and I completely think Mimi failed to step in for Missy because she was following her plan.

I work in surgical bookings and a doctor isn't going to perform a csection without a surgical consent from the mother. 30+ hrs is irrelevant. Bryan, Mimi, Papa, couldn't have made that call for Missy, and maybe they tried to tell her and she wouldn't hear it? We just don't know. I just don't think someone can knowingly be all for doing something the wrong way, but then cry foul when it bites them in the ass. Don't hire someone sketchy because you like their "off the cuff" ideas, but then act surprised when they give substandard care.

Just my opinion.
Wow, if this is all true that is real shit. I'm a midwife in Australia. We have to go to university and get our Bachelor of Midwifery which is taught parallel to the Nursing degree. The clinicals are just different towards the end of the degree, and some requirements like following pregnancies, etc. Midwives here work with the woman, take responsibility for the birth WITH the woman. They make decisions together not for each other. Midwives deliver babies in public hospitals here, and OBs are around but not necessary unless the mother or bub is considered high risk. This wouldn't have happened in Australia. Im from California originally, and moved to Australia and I associated midwives to hippies and uneducated witches lol. Then with my first pregnancy I saw a midwife as per public medicare system. That pregnancy ended in our first son who was stillborn at 40w9d. It was for "medically unknown" reasons as we didn't want an autopsy, though blood tests were done and clear of genetic issues. I know that in the US, t be a certified midwife, you dont need a degree, but you need to pass a few tests. Which it's completely amature in my opinion. Tests are hard, but nothing like a 3-4 year university education. My friends and family in the US see me as that kind of midwife unfortunately, they dont understand that Canadian, GB and AU midwives are far more professional and educated than in the US.
Anyway, caster oil would NEVER be advised professionally. I had one mother ask about it, and I advised nipple stimulation and walking. Missy sounded desperate to have a VBAC and that's such a huge decision, and at the hospital I work at, women are supported with that decision, but are advised every-single-appointment- that a VBAC may not happen, and that they should be aware that if the bubba is in distress or in labour for an unsafe period of time (like Finn!) an OB would do an emergency c-section. Hospital policy is to prepare women with the idea that VBAC may not work. We support them through the decision, do what we can, if it works out thats great if it doesn't they are at least prepared. Missy was in complete denial and I have never said it about anyone but she was completely selfish in the last moments of labor with Finn. She would have definitely had PPD afterwards, maybe still, as she was devastated with the outcome of her desired labour. I get it, I see it all the time. It's a natural feeling that is separate from the love you have for the child you birthed. (thats a separate topic which we know through how she treats Finn).

Gotcha.. thanks. We were under the same kind of warnings here last year. We had a few fires close enough to where we had HORRIBLE smoke, but thankfully it never became more of a threat than just the be aware kinda thing. Keep safe!!

I CAN'T GET OVER HOW CUTE FINN'S OUTFIT WAS TODAY!

I think Missy wrote Ollie's letter like she did Finn's, but if he actually wrote it, that's great!

It was funny to me that Finn found more candy canes than Ollie at first. Ollie may be older, but, beside speech, Finn is getting smarter at a much faster rate than Ollie. I remember someome saying a few months ago that Ollie wanted a 'thing' and Finn actually said 'banana'. Who's golden child now?

When it comes to affection, I don't think this is true, but M&B seem to be paying a little more attention to Finn than usual lately, in my opinion. Maybe it's because he's older, or because a little bit of people in the comments say Ollie has the spotlight. Any thoughts?

I have a very ominous sense of haphazard "homeschooling" happening in a year or two.

Where did you hear that to be a certified midwife in the US that you don't need a degree? You need a BSN, to pass the RN, and advanced training-- you need a Master's degree. And _then_ you take the exams. You definitely need a degree.

It doesn't apply to Missy's situation, because she was at UCSD, which only works with CNM's, but in rural areas, you get these back country midwives, like the Duggar women try to be, and they can really screw things up. Some of them are great, but I saw some scary things working in PICU in Texas.
Personal, sort of: This one baby was a VBAC home birth,(which most certified midwives wouldn't want to do) and they had to do CPR on him when he was born. Didn't call 911. "Midwife" gave them potassium supplements and Bach Flower Rescue Remedy for him! They brought him to the ER a week later with neonatal sepsis. We saved him, but I wonder if he had any long term problems.
