I think it’s one of those bad screenshots that catch you halfway while blinking and smiling at the same time.
He does look tired though.

I'm not even gonna lie, as someone who lives in the south and has seen snow maybe four times in my life if I made their kind of money I'd buy some too. I think the biggest difference is that we know they hemorrhage money and they could easily take a vacation but I imagine there's something magical about having it at home vs travelling. Plus it made for great vlog footage and they might have earned the money right back. So as much as I dislike them I'm not even really going to critique this because it's something right out of a dream for me lol. I just love snow so much.

Oh believe me, after living in a north-ish country (Canada) for many years, I can tell you that about only the first 2-3 weeks after the beginning of winter and snow season are fun. Or at least up until Christmas and New Year. However, after this, you get over it pretty quickly.

Sure, snow is beautiful and fun to play in or practice sports in. It almost looks like a fairy tale in moments when you, for example, decide to take the kids outside to go ice skating, surrounded by bright, sparkly, perfect white snow and then go back inside to enjoy a hot chocolate by the fire. But it is also ugly when it's all brown, grey and slushy from the cars going on it and dirty boots walking on it. It's really cold and badly stuck on windows when you have to get up at 6am to remove all the ice and snow on your outside stairs or car as you're on your way to work or school. It's slippery and dangerous when it's mixed with freezing rain. And mostly, it's expensive as you have to buy all sorts of equipments like coats, hats, mittens, pants, boots, scarfs, winter tires, shovels, salt, and I'm not even talking about sports equipment here.

That being said, I absolutely love winter and snow, so I can understand your and the DB's fascination for it. But let's just say that I'd rather have it last only from November until January, rather than until April...

I have a _huge_ problem with the waste. California still hasn't gotten over the drought, and it's not raining yet this year. Last year was great, but it didn't completely make up for all the years before with no rain. But sure! Let's use up a whole bunch of water and truck in snow! Can't go to Big Bear with the great unwashed. Oh, no. We need it at our house. Just for us.

After living in Pennsylvania and having to dig my car out and scrape ice off the windshield, and living in Annapolis and driving home in snow, I like living where I can drive a few hours, play in the snow and come home. I like my winter where I can commute to it.

And I can't believe Missy actually complained that it was too cold. It's snow. That they paid for.

She really has issues.

I LOLed at the part where she said they weren’t prepared for this!!! THEY ARE THE ONES WHO PLANNED IT

She had said they weren’t prepared with winter clothes like mittens
So did they get rid of everything they used last year on their winter "vacays"? Of course they did.
Can't save those things from year to year. Need new stuff every time.
Waste.

Yesterday's vlog: It's like they call Corbin at 4AM and demand he show up for their vlogs - does that guy have no life? That snow must have cost them a few thousand dollars - why didn't they just take the kids to that cabin they always go to? They get lazier every year! You could tell Missy was trying to pry some animals on Kelsey but she was not having it - good for you Kelsey, don't turn into Missy by having multiple kids and animals and not taking care of any of them!

Today's vlog: Quiet time by watching a movie? I don't understand why their solution to everything is shoving them in front of a movie? Only BryLard would want to wear a Christmas sweater with a unicorn on it hahaha he's just a 15 year old girl deep down inside!! I'm sure Mimi and Papa are thrilled with their son in law's fashion sense :? Ollie got his "Kywo Wen" doll - his idol since he's always obsessed with being a quiet dark child hahaha Geez BryLard is just obsessed with getting compliments on the new room - like who cares! "Bro I got a rose gold iphone holder" - what guy would ever proudly say that out loud?? HAHAHAH

They actually went to the cabin a few weeks ago but there was no snow this year. Apparently that was a few thousand dollars' worth of disappointment.

There's snow at Big Bear. 48 inches. It's a little under a two hour drive from Murrieta.

OT but (since I haven't been watching regularly lately) whatever happened to John the mouse? Have they shown him at all?

We really need to make a Daily Bumps Whatever Happened To thread at the rate things dissappear from their house.

I told myself I was just going to read some and pass out before I have to wake and work my Christmas magic

I lived in old town Annapolis (Maryland ave) for two years in a tiny apartment that I miss more and more as the busy years go by #ithasmyheart

Merry Christmas to all who celebrate

Do we know if they are in the "there's no such thing as global warming" camp? I mean, behaving the way they do, with their consumption and waste, they can't possibly understand what they're doing to the planet now and to their children's future. Or they understand and just don't care? My guess is that they don't believe it, they think that somehow all of this environmentalism stuff is bullshit, and that they should be able to consume however they want without any consequences.

OMG! My ex worked at USNA. I loved it there. We lived on Perry Circle. I worked as a nurse and picked up extra shifts at hospitals around the area, so I would have to drive out 50 in the snow. No fun.
There was a beautiful Victorian house that we _almost_ rented. It was just too big for the two of us, but I loved it will have to check Google World and see if it's still there.
Sorry-- way OT!

They started out caring. Their "dream car" was a Prius. That's what they titled the vlog when they bought the Prius: "Buying Our Dream Car". They were going to cloth diaper Ollie. That lasted about a week. Missy used to make baby food for Ollie and was violently anti-rice cereal.

Now they generate so much trash that they have a dumpster. A family of four needs a dumpster? There's no excuse for that. Ollie eats frozen pancakes and dino nuggets. Certainly not vegetables, and definitely not organic. And their lifestyle is all acquisitiveness and waste. Don't save your winter coat from one year's vacation! Buy new ones! I don't think Finn has worn a single hand-me-down from Ollie. Missy even got a new "pretty pusher" labor gown to have Finn. She never wore the one she had for Ollie's birth.
I don't know if they never cared or if they have been so blinded by their money and "fame" that they can't even see what they're doing. Don't know which is worse.
