I wonder if it was a sneaky product placement. Not strictly a sponsor, but a “gift”. I can’t see them doing a “with parent supervision” warning without the company telling them to.

I think Bryan was just trying to please the Youtube Kids overlords...their "Do's and Dont's" list states "Could kids get hurt following your example? Do you remind kids whats NOT okay to try at home?".

I bet Cassie is engaged. She and Carlos seem to live together now. She even vlogged at HIS family's house for Christmas - giving his nephew a nice bike. And Carlos' family was at the Lanning's Christmas Eve party. She's probably waiting to use it as a big clickbait announcement around the new year.

I hope she’s not engaged. She’s younger than I am and I think marriage should wait until after college. Get the full college experience before you settle down like that. They haven’t been dating a year yet too. I think what I’m REALLY pissed about is that missy’s family seems to think education is not important and basically set Cassie up to get married young and start having kids. not cassie’s fault at all, that’s what she grew up seeing and probably thinks it’s normal. But no matter what Carlos seems good to her so if she’s happy in the end that’s whats best. ((But really hoping she’ll finish college!))

What is "normal" though? Just being a bit defensive here as I married at 21, have two living children after several losses. I worked full time from age 18 and I stopped going to uni at 20 and moved to a new country. I was pressured to begin a degree I wasn't actually passionate about. Not everyone knows what they want to do in their early 20s. I'm not 27 and finished my Bachelor Midwifery degree while pregnant. I wouldn't have known I wanted to get into Midwifery if it weren't for my new life experiences in my 20s. I would have been miserable working at Wells Fargo or any other bank. I was good at sales and customer service, got paid better than my friends and peers, but I hated my job. Now I absolutely love my job, love being a wife and mum. Nothing wrong with doing things outside the "normal" schedule put for us by society. People take different steps (healthy and unhealthy...) to achieve happiness.

But you got an education. I think OP is just saying that Jim and Suzanne seem to think that being married and popping out babies is what a girl should do. Jimmy got a degree, but he's a guy, so being a breadwinner is what is expected.

Bryan and Missy don't think an education is important. It's obvious by the way they act. I think Cassie will be ok. She moved out, started college, and I hope will finish. She doesn't seem to be too much into walking the groove that's put in front of her.

Plus, it's important to remember that we're not talking about you. Your situation is unique to you and your experience. We're judging this particular family, based on what we see. Definitely not judging you! That's great that you found something you love and that your losses led you to something that can help others!

I definitely didn't mean it in a snarky way. I get that it's easy to see a comment and go "wait! I've done that!" But especially someone like you, who has taken bad experiences and made something better, can rest easy about being like them. Yikes. Never heard or thought of that.
We swung on ropes in the woods. My dad rigged up a zipline that dropped us into the pool. We never had a seat so our longer than a toddler arms kept our hair a good distance.

So Jim set up the zipline.. And the toolbench, im assuming.. Does bryan do anything besides play with remotes? Light bulbs even have remotes in his world

Even I can admit that when he isn't trying to channel Justin Bieber, he can look good. Was it the Roaring 20's party that he looked so nice at? He was wearing a suit that actually looked like someone had taken some time to fit for him.
My dad was short and kinda round-- when I got married, his tux was a "portly short". I felt bad for him when he said that.

Also betting along with the rest of you that they will do a big fancy vow renewal for their 10th anniversary. I wonder if they will call it a "vowel renewal".

Missy opened a gift from Bryan and it was a horse bridle and she was super shocked and teared up and said ARE WE GETTING A HORSE?!
