Haha. My husband proposed in the pouring rain, after we hiked a mountain. He was all lovey dovey and I was like “yup I know”. I definitely don’t judge Cassie for that.
I though the story was cute. They seem to genuinely love each other, I hope they last.

Who cares if they last or not. People act like life is guaranteed. I don’t wish it on anyone but Cassie or Carlos could die at any second. All that matters is they’re both very obviously happy NOW and are together NOW. unlike missy who’s obviously not happy and is wasting her life away... I’d rather be engaged to a man I’ve been with 6 months & am so happy with, than married to someone I dated for a couple years but am not happy with at all...

Well, that philosophy may work in theory, but in actuality divorce is really messy and not anticipating potential future problems or conflicts of interest is not smart when committing to the legal institution of marriage. You could also argue that they can be together and not married and still have the same happiness they would have married, just without the legal aspect. I think having a long engagement is smart of them. Rushing into marriage usually doesn't work out that well.

I was definitely very different when I was 30 from when I was 20. If I had married the man I was dating then, it would have been bad. But everyone is different. Cassie is less sheltered than Missy was. And she is going to college. I think honestly, even at 20, Cassie is more mature than Missy.

I’m shocked she’s engaged, being the same age and in a long term relationship (4.5 years), I’m still glad I don’t have a ring yet lol. Best of luck to Cassie, but I know my parents would not be happy for me being engaged unless I lived with someone first to give it a fair chance before a big commitment. I just hope she stays in school and doesn’t leave to become Susie Homemaker. Idk how much credit I want to give her but I think she is smarter than that

Cassie definitely seems more mature then missy. Also Carlos seems to be an entirely different person then Bryan.
I’m not sure you can even compare the two couples fairly. Cassie and Carlos seem miles ahead and way more in love then Bryan and missy are right now.

Okay, so it looks like Cassie and Carlos definitely live together? They were together at her apartment early in the morning enough to go to the gym then come home and make breakfast, and it looks like he had a few pairs of shoes on/around her shoe rack. I obviously don't judge her for that, but I'm definitely surprised!

And she refers to anything happened as "we", like "we're moving" and "we got a new TV", so they definitely live together. Not sure if everyone knew or if it was all just speculation, but this is new to me lol

Yeah, I’m super surprised they live together seeing as her sister has spoken about living together before marriage and her parents weren’t happy and looking back, she doesn’t agree with moving in now.

I would’ve thought that was due to their Christian values to remain pure.... but if that were the case I don’t think it would change from kid to kid.

Unless third child syndrome has kicked in and Jim and Suzanne do not give AF.

Anyways, I like them together. I hope they start vlogging more.

Maybe because they're engaged, it's "ok"? My parents didn't like me living with my boyfriend, but when I got engaged, it was ok. Of course, they also really liked the guy I.was engaged to-- I think that made a difference too. Maybe it wasn't so much Missy living with someone, but living with Bryan? And yes, Cassie is the third kid, and they sure _seem_ more relaxed than the parents that Missy talks about. And we all know the universe revolves around Missy. Cassie can probably do whatever.

I think they seem really great together, love how they are incorporating Carlos' family and her's (so nothing like how Missy seems to only have pics etc of her family). I will admit that I am excited to see where this leads to.

Okay, honestly, I like these two. The age difference is irrelevant...not only are they both adults (if Cassie were underage, it would be different), but they seem to be on the same level of maturity. I love how normal they are...and Cassie's a better wife than Missy and she's not even married to Carlos yet lol. She just seems to love him.

I think it could work despite the age difference. He is laid back...........but in the bedroom probably exactly what she needs. Just saying. I get the 50 shades of grey vibe. lol! Seriously though he is a businessman and he has a city job? He can provide and they get along. I think they are both people that can get along with anyone. I think it works even if he is a bit camera awkward. Not a deal breaker! Unless she starts looking like Missy in the composition notebook bathing suit I'm sure he will have many years of fun with her to look forward to.

I like them and enjoy watching their vlogs together. I never really liked Cassie’s videos before (I don’t care much for the challenge/slime/dare videos). I hope they do vlogs more, even if it’s not daily.

Ugh I hate to be the odd one out but I get weird vibes from him they are such an odd couple. I think she’s young (mature) but young in as hasn’t dated many people, and just fell for anyone without really knowing him.
