I can totally see Ollie and Finn being the kids that annoy everyone at the restaurant. Speaking loudly, getting their hands on glass, and standing on the couch? No WAY I'd be allowed to do all that.

I'm going to say this one more time. I am just so sick of them saying Finn just HAS to copy! Lots of kids his age do that! Just leave him alone!

Guys, if you see that restaurant, DON'T eat there! Bryan had his grubby paws all over the herbs! Gag.

Do I even need to say the cat was clickbait? I'm pretty sure we all knew before watching.

Look at how rough Finn was being with the cat! Did you see him try to HUG him!? Oh my goodness!

I can't even imagine what it's like to live with a bunch of long haired cats! I have nothing against cats, but personally that sounds like a lot of work, and a LOT of vacuuming!

It's so dumb how they think Ollie is sooooo cute with the cat, but once Finn is trying to be sweet, he's actually being rough. I sound like a jealous big sister or something .

Uhm, call me crazy, but is it the 21st century, or am I a nitpick? Why are they getting food off the side of the road? Would that be better than a store, or what? I guess I'm just not accustomed to buying ANYTHING off the side of the road.

Letting the boys play with the pictures is not a good idea. Once someone breaks the glass, it's all FINN'S fault.

Small, family farms are 100% better for you than ANY factory farm, no matter what the product is. You know exactly where your food comes from and 90% of the time it is MUCH better quality and cleaner than food you find in a store. Cheaper as well. I would buy every thing i could from a family farm like that. No different than shopping at a farmer market.

So i guess it's safe to assume these new "friends" are cat breeders? I see a new cat soon.

I wish they had done research on cat breeds. If they had, they would know there are some mellow cuddly cats and some that are active. I have rescue kitties and have never owned a purebred but my American shorthair cats are pretty layed back. Definitely nothing like a bengal. If they wanted a purebred though they definitely picked the wrong one. Almost any other breed would have been better suited for their family.

Yeah, the whole time Missy was acting surprised that the cat was so calm I wanted to scream at her "Maybe if you had done some RESEARCH beforehand like a normal person you could've had a calm cat!" It's so aggravating how clueless they are.

That was just Brooke (their current photographer) again. I don’t think she breeds them. I’m not even sure they’re permanent pets. I think they foster cats for a rescue. I might be reading it all wrong from her Instagram.

Honestly, Brooke needs to start her own channel. She’s a total coat tail rider, and kind of the female version of Bryan (not even kidding. She even sings). Her vlogs would make for EXCELLENT YTMD content. Her thread would be epic.

DailyBumps100ThreadsOfClickbait (Part 100!)

Unread post by cat9480 »

Research on cat breeds, AND research on how to create an environment that meets a cat’s needs. Even the calmest cat is going to scratch furniture if they don’t have appropriate places to scratch, pee outside the box if it’s dirty or placed badly, develop annoying habits if humans don’t work to eliminate them early on, etc. Just like kids, pets take a lot of work. And cats aren’t as self-sufficient as I think the Lumps believe. I personally think even Zuri could’ve worked out, despite not being the best breed choice for them. They have a big house for her to explore, someone is there all the time, they have plenty of time to exercise and socialize her, they have money for nice cat shelves and cat trees and such...it would’ve been fine if they had been willing to put in the effort. But, they are too lazy to even put in the effort to parent, or take care of the dogs they already have, so I don’t know what I was expecting.

Ugh. Sorry to open this can of worms again...I am just a crazy cat lady and the whole Zuri thing hit a nerve with me. And then I today I just saw that glimmer in Missy’s eyes, probably thinking, Oh, maybe we should try another cat. I could just see the seed being planted in her brain

I don’t even think they need to go so far as to research specific cat breeds. They can’t handle ANY of the pure breed cats. Go to the shelter and get a bonded pair of adult domestic cats who have always been indoor cats. Easy peasy. Getting a pair of indoor cats means they’ll be less inclined to escape due to boredom.
You can even make sure to get cats that are already tolerant of dogs and children.
They do not need a pure bred cat. They won’t be happy with one either. They would be much happier with a couple of low maintenance, mixed breed mousers.

That being said, they shouldn’t get ANY small pet until they can break Luna’s high prey drive. She’ll either stress a cat out with constant chasing, or she’ll have her ass handed to her by a cornered cat who won’t back down.

I HATE that Finn is being put under the impression that swords are okay. Imagine the fights they'll get in if Finn still likes swords ins the future!

A few thoughts:
I feel like they are maybe too antisocial for a country club.
The cat footage was very, very weird- I didn't get it at all.
I thought Bryan communicated really well with the little girl. I wish there was more of that natural communication with Ollie.
I thought the church outfits were odd. It's not my business to judge what people wear to church, but to deliberately choose pants with holes in them seemed strange to me... Maybe I'm just a prude.
Is anyone else having trouble with this site these days? I am having tons of trouble loading pages.

I'm really behind on reading this board because for some reason it takes my phone 5 minutes to load a page. I'm sorry if this has already been discussed, it was kind of stupid the other day when they had the sponsored 23andMe video that didn't even mention 23andMe or DNA test in the Vlog title. They used some misleading about their living room remodel that wasn't even a remodel, just a new entertainment shelving system for their TV. They really sold themselves short on that not to mention their sponsor. I think a vlog title that hinted at finding out about their ancestry would have been a lot more enticing to viewers. My husband and I recently purchased DNA kit and we were super excited about seeing the results and I think that a lot of people would be more interested in that than their system. If I owned the company that paid them to make that sponsored video I would be super ticked off that they didn't even use it for the title.

I just wanted to state my opinion, and nothing else.

I feel like it's okay to wear whatever you want to church. As long as it's acceptable to wear it out in public. Last time I checked going to church was to worship (in their case) God. I don't think you have to wear extremely fancy clothes, as long as you're respectful in church.

That's how MY church operates, and I feel like it's acceptable.

Also, I thought I was the only one having trouble loading the site! Sometimes I get some sort of General Error page! Not very sure what's going on.

Same here. As long as you're presentable and not dressed like absolute trash, I don't see any reason to judge casual church clothing. You're there to learn about God, not win an award for best dressed.

I've been having issues loading threads and getting on the forum for weeks now (I just posted about it on the C&K thread last night, actually) but they've been especially bad today. I hardly come on here anymore because the forum is so slow and half the time nothing loads at all after 5-10 minutes of waiting so it's a waste of time.

Modern contemporary churches are all 'come as you are' and filled with quasi-hipsters.

I do like the 'come as you are' approach. I guess I was just surprised at the outfit she chose for 'as you are', since it was obviously deliberate. But I agree that church really shouldn't be about what you're wearing.
