Soo, in the past chuckle probably claimed Tayler as a dependent-his wife? Correct? My aunt is on disability and my uncle claims her and their daughters. But can he claim her as a dependent if there has been a no contact order all year? Forgive me, I'm 19 and this year is my first time actually doing taxes on my own so I have no fn idea.
Also, do y'all think Tayler petitioned child support for Amity yet even though she was conceived on a no contact order?

He could if they jusy don't bring it up when doing their taxes, idk about Ohio but here you have to have been living together for 6+months but I mean they can use taylers address and the IRS would never find out.
Even if they're divorced and they get back together.

I don't think tayler formally asks for child support. Chucky just gives her cash, they don't have a court order. And idk if she could because I don't think he's on the birth certificate.

The government takes money out of everyone’s pay cheque as “tax”. They use this money to fund public services, education, military, etc etc etc. The amount of tax people are supposed to pay varies by income (rich people pay more) BUT the government doesn’t calculate how much tax to take out of a pay cheque based on your income, they just take out a set amount. So at the end of the year, everyone who works has to “file taxes” to essentially fix the mistake of how much they were taxed during the year.

People who make a lot of money, end up owing more tax.

People who don’t make a lot of money, end up getting money back.

You can get “tax credits” for doing various things, such as donating to charity, having children, etc. This is money you get back as well (or if you owe tax, that money gets taken off of how much you owe back).

It’s actually a really weird system if you think about.

People who have dependents and are self employed with an only income of $400 usually cheat the system and pretend they worked imaginary jobs that don't need proof of to get to their targeted income to be able to claim their maximum refund. That's why if you're self employed you're more likely to be audited.


I'm sure chucky makes the amount required to get 6-8k too. She doesn't borrow money from him, she takes the money he's going to spend on his kids and spends it on herself lol idk why she thinks his refund is by law hers too. Honestly chucky is just either dumb as fuck or doesn't care about the kids either, he doesn't owe her shit from the income tax.

The reason I would think he doesn't get that much back is because you cannot claim a child unless they have lived with you for at least half of the year and you provided the majority of their financial support- I could be wrong but I don't think Chuckie took care of any of the kids for half of the year? That's a couple thousand right there, and then the EIC which makes up the bulk of those huge refunds follows the same standards, so without dependent children he'd only get maybe like $500 if he's very low income.

Someone told me that you don’t get $1,000 unless you OWE in taxes. If you don’t owe, then you just get your normal amount back. If you OWE, then the $1,000 per child is deducted from the amount you owe in taxes.
But that can’t be true since I’m sure Chuckie/Tayler don’t owe that much in taxes and Tayler always gets a shit ton of money back every year for having so many kids?!

You get a deduction of 1,000 for each child, deducted from whatever you owe. But there is also something called the Additional Child Tax Credit which gives you a credit for each child. Chuckie can't claim any of the kids as dependents or include them in his taxes unless he took care of and paid for them for 1/2 of the year. Also after I think maybe the third child you stop getting $1000 per each kid and the amount goes slightly lower for each additional child. It's the EIC that is the huge credit, it's meant to help low-income families get an extra boost each year. If someone makes less than 14k and has no children they can also claim a small EIC, something like $500.

This year it's up to $3000...figured that out when my boyfriend's usually broke sister (she just started working again and her "husband" refuses to work) talked about planning a tax-time trip to Florida. Plans a trip to Florida but asks for clothes, toys, and essentials the rest of the year.

If he gets a W-2 which im sure he does, he can get a good refund without the kids if his federal withheld is 10% of his income. But i doubt that's the case. It all depends on your tax preperer, some ask for proof of the childrens address and it has to match the HOH but some dont. The IRS doesnt have access to cusotdy agreements, divorces, or anything like that. There's people who are getting in trouble for "lying" on their welfare applications, the IRS can now access welfare applications. But theyre not too focused on it yet, theyre more worried about people who claim kids that arent theirs for now.

Pinterest and YT videos! It doesn't even have to be expensive. I feel like the kids don't ever get normal homemade food. Not that canned ham, green beans and canned tomatoes crap either. So gross. Tayler needs to learn some basic life skills. Having a GED and license isn't the end all be all of life. Providing good nutritious meals for your 4 kids should be a priority. There's a reason she never shows food.
