I think it's hilarious that y'all think there aren't any distractions in public school with 20+ other kids needing the teachers attention. It's really not that hard to homeschool and it doesn't take near as long to get the same amount of work done. Angela gets on my nerves sometimes but I would totally side eye her more if she would have thrown Kennedy and Shelby into school just because Mama wanted a baby and she didn't have time to deal with them anymore. I think it's great that Angela doesn't have a one size fits all approach to the kids' education. What may be best for some may not be best for all and that is true for anyone! Public school is fine but so is homeschool.

I respectfully disagree with you on this. As someone who transitioned from Homeschool to public school at age 9, i can vouch for the fact that there were less distractions at PS than HS. I only have one other sibling (older sister who went to PS at the same time i switched) and found it difficult to do my own work with my sister in the same room as me doing different things. My mom is a state-certified teacher, and even she agreed that it was best for us to go to PS. I feel like HS only works well when there are individualized areas for each kid to do their work adequately, and with the painters at Angie’s rn there’s no way those kids can keep focused. Granted, everyone is different and succeeds in different ways, but what 10 year old wouldn’t be distracted by 2 babies crying, a little brother yelling for help from Mom, and your bff sister across from you? PS is far more strict and organized (from my own experience) than HS is. I would’ve respected Angie for saying “this is more than i can handle” and sending at least the 2 older girls to PS. Sorry this was so long lol

And I’m not meaning to say that Angie CANT handle 3 HS kids with 2 babies, but i feel that it would be so much less stressful for her to take the girls to PS. Or at least hire a babysitter for 2-3 hours to watch the twins when the other kids do school. It’s not like the twins are BFing anymore, so they *really* don’t rely solely on Angie anymore. I do truly like Angie, she’s my favorite YT Mom tbh, but sometimes i can’t help but side eye her...in a friend type of way. Again, i do commend her for still chugging along with HS considering the chaos that is happening in their home rn, but i wouldn’t have been upset/shocked had she sent Kennedy & Shelby to public school

I mean, there is a normal distraction like the kid who wont stop goofing off or the cute boy in class and then their is the distraction of your toys, your room/bed, your little brother, your crying baby sister, your backyard, the painters etc etc... I don't think anyone is saying it CANT be done but from what we have seen it just doesnt seem to BE getting done properly.(It isnt really a HS vs PS debate. Its an does Angie have adequate time for this debate) What is the harm in putting them in public school and working with them on areas you think are important/they need extra work?
I cant imagine anyone who watches the vlogs thinks the girls are getting a thriving, focused, detailed and strict education.

I think overall, most of us would agree that if you’re homeschooling, you have to be able to provide the proper environment for it. There should be a designated room that is quiet, with school only “things”, and able to provide individual spaces for each kid. I just don’t see how you can teach 3 levels of school in one area without any separation. I know, personally, that i couldn’t deal with hearing my mom reading my 2nd grade brother his math homework to him while I’m trying to do my own assignments as a 10 year old, while also having my sister right beside me doing something totally different as well. It’s hard enough in a normal school with 20 other kids doing the SAME work to stay focused.

Maybe Angie needs to hire a tutor, or get the girls some external art/science/spanish classes (i think they did these at one point?) to get them used to a classroom environment and see if they enjoy it. I don't think the quality of education this year has been above what a public school could give them tbh.

Also just out of curiosity - anyone who homeschooled for a long time - what was it like when you finally went to public school or left for college? Did you find it hard or was it an easy transition?

Honestly, I haven't watched all of the recent vlogs so I'm not sure if there have been specific clips about the girls doing school. I guess I give her the benefit of the doubt because from what I understand, kids in NC have to be tested at the end of each year. What if they really aren't behind? What if they get behind in the coming years and Angie decides it isn't working and they finish with public school? I guess what I'm trying to say is I trust Angie and CR to make the right decision solely based on them deciding to send Noah and Rosie because they admit they can't do it. As far as needing to teach 3 different levels...that absolutely can happen in the same classroom. I have seen it. School doesn't have to be so rigid and strict to be successful.I look forward to hearing Kennedy and Shelby's q & a. Hopefully they will touch on some of your concerns.

I homeschooled for a fair bit of time, and didn’t find it too hard to transition. I honestly preferred public school. Making friends was the scariest part, but it ended up working out just fine. I’m in college now, and i don’t have any like weird social issues or anything bc my parents had me in 6 different sports while i was growing up lol

I truly think they thought in advance considering the twins were coming that this year would be a more laid back year in home school and maybe the first half would be more independent studies and computers. Maybe they have an online tutor for now until the twins are a little grown and on a more manageable schedule. She says the dinning room makeover is going to be the office maybe they plan on doing home school in there when its done. I don't ever see them not making their children's education a priority. I think Jonah is more of a preschool age anyway and his learning can be done in real word situations vs. Textbook stuff. He's always with her in the Instagram post with the twins.
I really believe they are great parents and it would completely shock me if the girl's homeschooling was a ball drop by Angie. I just don't want to believe that all YouTube mom are fake. Not Angie!!!

I'm glad I'm not the only one that's noticed. I've been wanting to bring it up but some ladies here get their panties in a twist when you call out Angie on some of her shit.

I don't think there is ever a reason to call someone "fun sized." That irked me in the van tour. (Which I was gonna skip but I thought since y'all were talking about favortism with the babies, there might have been something about them in there.) I think she favors Chicken but that's just me.

The fun sized adult comment made me laugh but her car seats annoyed me. With so many kids still in car seats & will still be in for many years, they have horrible seats. That is one large vehicle tho!

She favoured Amelia in the beginning. Because she was an easier baby, ivy was very fussy and more needy.
Now it seems like she’s favouring ivy because she’s hitting some milestones a little sooner than Amelia. It’s always been pretty obvious that she favours one over the other at any given time.
