I noticed the same exact thing about the phone. The screen was on when he picked it up. Also... how the hell do you tear the house apart for as long as they didn’t and not notice it literally sitting in the middle of the floor?? Just ping the damn thing with find my phone.WriteMeOut wrote:I noticed all their clutter too. They literally have no excuse for that much clutter.
Also, Jackson was literally so upset that he didn't "get to keep" Ellie's phone. They shouldn't have told them that in the first place. They're too little to understand gags like that. They should just be encouraged to help find the phone, just for the sake of being helpful.
Also did you guys catch that Jared called Ellie's phone, declared it dead, then when he "found" it, the screen was magically on? I smell a set up.

Exactly. Ellie’s house LOOKS spotless from certain angles lol but truth is that house is probably disgusting. The snotty sheets, the milk stained bed, dirty diapers EVERYWHERE, feet on counters, that crusty snotty robe. To tell you the truth Ellie has always looked like she smelled bad to me. She just gives me that impression. I’ve said it about Missy and I’ll say the same for Ellie, I couldn’t force myself to eat anything either of them cooked or anything cooked in their kitchen. They both seem unhygienicHelloSweetie wrote:Their house has always been cluttered. Remember in the old house they would always have dirty diapers and clothes laying around upstairs? It’s all about appearances. The photographer was literally there to take pictures for the cookbook and Ellie is letting Jackson sit on the counter with his feet up! As long as the pictures look pretty, who cares if the food is grossPlaysinrain wrote:Exactly. Ellie’s house LOOKS spotless from certain angles lol but truth is that house is probably disgusting. He's going to do track and field. Jared already said so.Kay91_ wrote:Jackson was too cute skiing. I hope they allow him to play sports like baseball, basketball and football. He catches on to things quick.

If he wants to, that's great. But Jared talks like it's a done deal. He was going on about going to Jackson's track meets and watching him pole vault. I hope that if he wants to play something else, they let him. He's definitely a natural athlete.

Is there any way the project is to start up another place like the Wiggleworm? I think it’s safe to say whatever the project is , it’s really more of a Bonnie and Joel project, with Ellie latched onto it.

Am I the only one grossed out by this? What is it with the Griffiths and putting their mouths on food that's supposed to be eaten by other people?

Re: E+J: Hey, did you know we’re PREGNANT?!?!?!? (Part 35)
Not sure. Didn’t someone say here (or was it a vlog comment) that they think it’s a jewelry line because for the “photoshoot” they were all giddy about their jewelry and they both obsessed over having their nails look nice or whatever (like they may have been taking pictures of their hands or something). Not sure. But I bet Bonnie has been the one doing ALL the work and Ellie hasn’t done shit for whatever it is but just has to work her way into whatever this business venture is? Ellie has gone to like “a” meeting. But there is no way for the last year that Ellie has done anything productive working on some huge project. She doesn’t do anything except sit at home in her gross robe and lay in bed watching tv or nap. So I don’t believe for a second that she does any work. She doesn’t even do videos on her own channel anymore. Bonnie I don’t doubt has been working on something. You’ve been able to see stressful times for her throughout the past year and she also does talk about meetings and business calls and stuff (which could also be brand deals) but she also seems to be away from the house and Joel and the kids (possibly doing work things) more often than Ellie is from her house and Jared and the boys. I feel like Bonnie and Ellie haven’t been getting together or spending more time than they did in the past either which tells me that they couldn’t have possibly been working that “hard” on something if they were actually doing something big “together”. Could also be some sort of clothing line with Albion Fit or one of those other companies Bonnie had modeled for and done business with in the past. The place they went in the vlog the other day for the “photoshoot” I think is the same place where Bonnie went to model clothes back maybe around July sometime.calliepaige84 wrote:Do we have ANY inclination what Ellie and Bonnie’s project is?

Re: E+J: Hey, did you know we’re PREGNANT?!?!?!? (Part 35)
I actually was wondering that the other day. I know they really liked that place. Although Bonnie says she is done having kids and Cody and Olivia are getting to be older and I’m not sure they’d be into that much longer. Jackson, Calvin, Boston, and Lincoln could still be into that stuff for a while though. However Ellie doesn’t give a shit about her own two kids she has now so I’m not sure she cares about all the children in her area having a place to go run around and play.HelloSweetie wrote:Is there any way the project is to start up another place like the Wiggleworm? I was speculating something involving clothing but with the little clip I've seen from Bonnie's vlog and the thumbnail from Ellie's, they were wearing outfits they always wear so that's probably not it

For some reason, I was under the impression that this project was something like a line of clothing, because I thought this project was the reason they went to China? Didn't they say that's why they were there? I figured they were there finding and/or investigating a manufacturer.
I could be misremembering. I barely watch these days.

Re: E+J: Hey, did you know we’re PREGNANT?!?!?!? (Part 35)
It's pretty easy to claim a recipe is your own, because the only part that matters is phrasing the directions in your own words (though I can see how that might be a challenge for this family, lol). Lists of ingredients aren't subject to copyright protection. This is how so many food bloggers have managed to publish cookbooks. The smarter ones, or those with more integrity, will alter ingredients or quantities, whether that means recipes meant for only 2 portions, or making traditional dishes vegan, etc. Tons of people do it the lazy way, and I'm 99.9% sure none of the Griffiths have ever had an original thought in their lives - let alone developed an original recipe.BaffledByItAll wrote:

Because I can tell you now a lot of these recipes are just recipes they've gotten out of cookbooks. Bonnie's Nutmeg cookie recipe was one off pinterest... I'm almost 100% positive. And I know that chicken pot pie Ellie makes is not their recipe either. I surely hope they're not trying to say they are.
This cookbook is just blowing my mind, lol. Even if they actually wrote recipes, how many buyers do they really think will order the book? Nobody needs to buy "recipes" for 7-can soup and crockpot oatmeal. IMO there's no way they'll have enough interest from people old enough to use a credit card, to make that China trip and all of the "work" they claim to do even remotely worthwhile or profitable. I get that they're trying to cash in before the large incomes they've grown accustomed to dry out, but this cookbook is just kind of goofy, not to mention narcissistic.
Re: E+J: Hey, did you know we’re PREGNANT?!?!?!? (Part 35)
I sound terrible for saying this but I'm not a fan of the latest giant pink painting that Ellie got. I feel like the artist was totally phoning that one in. The artist has many better works of art on her website (like the impressionistic flowers). The size of brush work and color blocking just looks way too small and uniform for a painting of that size. Hope Ellie likes it. It makes me think she totally runs that household. I can only imagine the look my spouse would give me if I told him it was going to order a massive five foot canvas that was predominately pink (cough- blush, rose, mauve etc). Secretly I think she was hoping she could use it in the nursery but since its a boy its probably headed for the basement or the grandma room? I was looking at pictures of Ellie from a few years ago and recent pics and its absolutely mind boggling how different she looks.

I honestly think the whole cookbook is just a project to feed Grandma Griff’s ego. Between the multiple photo shoots and the China trip, I think it’s safe to say they are overestimating the numbers they will sell.RecklessDisregard wrote:It's pretty easy to claim a recipe is your own, because the only part that matters is phrasing the directions in your own words (though I can see how that might be a challenge for this family, lol). There are a bunch of vlog comments begging for them to hurry up with the cookbook, but honestly, even over the course of a month or so, it can't be more than 100 or so.
I agree that it's an ego thing for Grandma Griff. Not enough people really care enough for them to make their investment back.

The cookbook is such a dumb idea. Do people still buy cookbooks these days? I mean with Google, you can get a recipe for just about anything. Maybe I'm totally wrong but I just feel like cookbooks aren't worth purchasing anymore.
