DailyMyLittlePony (Part 101)
Re: DailyMyLittlePony (Part 101)
Bryan had miradry done to his armpits to stop from sweating. I don't put it past him to be taking something to help slim down. Those pills always have side effects. It takes about 3 months to show so I'd give it another 2 months.

Maybe they meant “Destroy House” is the name of their house and the dogs own itlmmomSD wrote:I gotta get on my grammar police high horse.
"Dog's Destroy House"? Please, Bryan and Missy, for the love of all things educational, please don't home school your children. You don't use an apostrophe to make a plural! Can't they at least _try_ to make the vlog titles correct?

Okay, dumb question. What exactly is Fullscreen? Is it a production company?queentee20 wrote:Did you all know fullscreen went bankrupt? I wonder if that motivated all of this NEXT 5 YEARS talk....
Just a side note, but they’ve got 3.1M Subs, this uploading whenever THEY feel like it won’t affect them much. Regardless they’ll be making AT LEAST 80K a month... they probably have a minimum of 100K sitting their bank account 24/7 which is why they spend so often... I mean what else do you do with that much money? I know there’s lots of smart people here, but Missy & Bryan? Not so much.... lol

(Off topic but I dont care lol) It's bad right when I started laughing a bit when Luna knocked down the telescope? I mean I feel bad that could've been like a good lesson for Ollie and Finn, or at least Ollie. But I mean the way Luna did it just made me laugh idk why

Re: DailyMyLittlePony (Part 101)
They may have 3.1 million subscribers, but if those subscribers aren't watching, they won't be making $100,000 a month. Even Cullen and Katie have a half million subscribers, and their channel is floundering because their subscribers aren't all tuning in. These guys aren't getting anywhere near 3 million views on every vlog. They're lucky to break 200K.queentee20 wrote:Did you all know fullscreen went bankrupt? BTW-- I can't bear to watch. What was the "Emotional Horse Surprise"? It was obviously after they got Nacho, because the "Meeting the Horse" video was a week before it.

Re: DailyMyLittlePony (Part 101)
This is true, but Bryan and Missy’s personal channels are barely even channels anymore. Bryan only uploads music videos now - he only has 40 videos total and he’s coming up on a year of not uploading anything new! Missy rarely posts anything on her channel either. She constantly buys a bunch of new stuff to redo her filming space and “take her channel in a new direction”...and then loses interest after a handful of videos. I think they probably lose money on those channels, with all the new crap they buy for Missy’s space and all the costs to film Bryan’s ridiculous music videos. At best, they break even.queentee20 wrote:I think what a lot of people tend to forget is that they’re getting views from 3 channels... Their big money has to come from sponsorships. There’s no way views are making them that much - none of their 3 channels has spectacular numbers for views. They have a solid following, sure, but I think rely heavily on sponsors.

Re: DailyMyLittlePony (Part 101)
Exactly. Their channels aren’t enough to sustain them long term if they aren’t continuing to vlog and make new content. To continue with the same lifestyle they currently have long-term, they would need to be saving most of what they earn. Clearly they aren’t given the amount they are spending.cat9480 wrote:This is true, but Bryan and Missy’s personal channels are barely even channels anymore. Maybe the Fullscreen bankruptcy is the reason we haven’t seen a DBDJCK meetup in awhile? They are no longer mandatory!

Re: DailyMyLittlePony (Part 101)
They got 72 million views on their main channel in the past month. They're making good money from their views alone. I do think the majority of their money from from brand deals, but they could certainly make it on views alone. I think it will be a while before they have to worry. You can't just look at the numbers on the videos from yesterday or a week ago. They've been uploading everyday for years. They have accumulated hundreds of videos. People who are really into their videos don't just watch today's video. Especially new viewers. That's why you see Bryan directing people to watch the icard video which is usually on a playlist.

DailyMyLittlePony (Part 101)
They might have years before the revenue dries up completely, but I do think they have hit their peak. 10 years from now I don’t think they will be living off YT... not in the way they currently are that is. Loyal viewers only take you so far if you stop uploading regularly. They move on, and as more and more viewers leave, it becomes unpopular to watch and a mad exodus begins. Remember, Shaytards and Charles Trippy were once at the top too.Lovethesnark wrote:They got 72 million views on their main channel in the past month. They're making good money from their views alone. Re: DailyMyLittlePony (Part 101)
No it’s not. It comes down to saving for the future and having investment knowledge Doing YT has nothing to do with the financial preparedness for how to save long term. They aren’t even 30 yet. Retirement age is 30 or so years away. If they are used to spending 2 million a year, do they get enough views to sustain this wage and their lifestyle if their wages dip down? Are they saving enough to last the next 30+ years? Even with investments, it just isn’t possible with what we’ve seen. Now Ruby Griffiths.... she is probably set because her income is gravy and their lifestyle isn’t at all dependent on the YT income. Not in any significant way that is.queentee20 wrote:Yup! They could make it on views alone if they lived somewhat reasonably. But sustaining their current OTT lifestyle? I’d be shocked if they could do it without sponsorships.Lovethesnark wrote:They got 72 million views on their main channel in the past month. They're making good money from their views alone. Re: DailyMyLittlePony (Part 101)
That may be what YOU are talking about, but that’s not what I’m talking about. No one is questioning the money they are making now, but the money they may have a year or 5 from now is definitely a debate.queentee20 wrote:Girl why are you bringing that up? I don’t care about that xD we’re just discussing how they’re CURRENTLY making a lot of money, the main point was that currently they’re still making BANK... people were trying to argue that they’re losing views and such therefore losing money but in reality they’re doing really well atm! DailyMyLittlePony (Part 101)
I think the 5 year plan is to save as much as they can (lol) before getting out. It’s an exit date, or a deadline. I think they realize they can’t do this forever and they need to come up with a plan.
I speculate the plan involves cranking out babies and getting the views off of that, paying off the “property” and setting it up to move Mimi and Papa in.

Nice of Bryan to tweet a happy birthday to one of the biggest minions though. Good for business too!

Re: DailyMyLittlePony (Part 101)
Hellosweetie, that’s what I suspect their plan will be. Missy even said one or two more and Bryan looked surprised at the two more. I’m not sure how they would handle a third baby, let alone a fourth.
Bryan and Missy said something about new businesses in 5 years. I wonder what that will be. Hopefully it won’t have to do with his music because that’s reliant on their vlog fans.

As far as spending, don’t forget all of that money for Mimi and Papa’s playground and their fugly pool remodel with the outdoor kitchen. I wonder if their vlogs about those helped them break even. And Bryan must have spent $100k+ easily on his album and the videos. When they spend money, they spend thousands at a time. The new appliances, the furniture that they keep replacing, etc.
