I forgot about that but when I watched on the vlog, I wanted to gag, she had her feet all over the bread, I am guessing she left the house without shoes (she has before and for some reason Ruby puts it on her 4 year old to remember) and Ruby was forced to put her in the cart instead of walking but blech!NotSusan wrote:Was anyone else grossed out by Eve sitting in the grocery cart a couple vlogs ago with bare feet. Did she leave the house without shoes or did she take them off to go grocery shopping? Either way, it was just strange.

Chad looks like he feels trapped in his family. I would not be surprised if he made a clean break once he's 18.

Shari won't let him. She would date him if he wasn't her brother, don't ya know?callie73 wrote:Chad looks like he feels trapped in his family. I would not be surprised if he made a clean break once he's 18.

Yeah, that’s what I figured, but seriously why film it? Who knows if she had her feet on the produce? It was just gross and totally against social norms. Ruby is clueless.thenightowl wrote:I forgot about that but when I watched on the vlog, I wanted to gag, she had her feet all over the bread, I am guessing she left the house without shoes (she has before and for some reason Ruby puts it on her 4 year old to remember) and Ruby was forced to put her in the cart instead of walking but blech!NotSusan wrote:Was anyone else grossed out by Eve sitting in the grocery cart a couple vlogs ago with bare feet. ^ I agree, she also should just keep an extra pair of shoes in the car for Eve just in case! It doesn't surprise me that she had her feet everywhere, she lets hear sit and walk on the counters with bare feet (all the Youtubers seem to do it) and it grosses me out!

I hate when people wear shorts in the dead of winter. Kevin, Shari, and Chad always do this. Even if they somehow stay hot it just looks silly to be in shorts when it's snowing outside.

Re: 8 Puffy Passengers - Part #7
Also, is Ruby not allowed to watch rated R movies? The husband made it seem like she had committed a crime?
Re: 8 Puffy Passengers - Part #7
I am convinced there are some issues we don't know about with Eve and Russell both. Russell is obviously an odd dude - his emotional development is very stunted. He gets way too excited and even the way he holds his body. When he said "let's make some wishes" he gets very rigid. Eve is so manipulative and just seems to not be all there. I know Ruby is frustrating, but if I had to hang out with those kids 24/7 I'd be nutty too.

I completely agree about Russell.... I just watched and that part where he talks about the wishes was so weird! How can Ruby not see it?!?sugarpea wrote:I am convinced there are some issues we don't know about with Eve and Russell both. Technically... mormon's are not supposed to watch R rated movies. It may not be a rule but it is encouraged to only watch wholesome movies. There's an exmo joke that says "if an adult is talking about their favorite movies and they are (G rated) animated movies, they are probably mormon".seriously7 wrote:Also, is Ruby not allowed to watch rated R movies? Re: 8 Puffy Passengers - Part #7
Ruby once again showing her car seat knowledge after 6 kids. The most recent seat they bought Eve *was* a convertible seat. It rear faced and forward faced. Stupid choice for a child of her age who is no longer rear facing (would've been okay if they had a younger sibling to pass it to). In today's vlog she's trying out Julie's seat which Eve is already sitting in outgrown. Really hope she listens to the comments and gets a harnessed booster. But if she does, it'll probably be one of the cheap ones that's outgrown fast and has a terrible belt fit. I'd be willing to bet she gets a highback booster with no harness, or another convertible seat. Neither of which do they need.

Re: 8 Puffy Passengers - Part #7
Yes. The whole carseat thing was highly problematic. Russell often isn't even in a carseat, and Eve being in a flimsy booster seat with a seatbelt she can shove over and under her arm in various and dangerous ways is definitely not okay. And it's also not okay to justify putting your kid in a crappy car seat because you're trying to figure out what to do about it. MAYBE if they were brand new to the area/country, didn't know the car seat laws and didn't have sufficient funds, I could see them taking a bit of time to try to figure it all out, but even that's a stretch.

Re: 8 Puffy Passengers - Part #7
She knows and if that were my kid I would be trying to get that fixed at the youngest age possibly. She's gonna wait until he's 13 and doesn't fit in and by that time it'll be too late. Also, she never ever correct him about the over excited shouting.sugarpea wrote: Russell is obviously an odd dude - his emotional development is very stunted. Re: 8 Puffy Passengers - Part #7
And money is not an issue. That's what really aggravates me. She makes bank from her vlogs, and they aren't living beyond their means. Kevin still has a salary. She can get any car seat she likes. Six kids, and she's still this much of an idiot about carseat safety?natalka81 wrote:Yes. The whole carseat thing was highly problematic. I think it's a Griffiths thing. Bonnie's not the best at carseat safety either.

Slightly OT: Those Mormon temple movies are some of the most sexually charged things I've seen in a while, and they don't show any private areas... If you guys are interested, head over to the exmormon reddit, and search "temple movies." They are...An experience. That subreddit in particular is a great way to give yourself a bit of context as per the mormon mindset.callie73 wrote:Technically... mormon's are not supposed to watch R rated movies. What terrible parenting in today's video with eve and her car seat. I'm all for positive parenting. I use it quite often with my own children, but when it comes to behaviors that deal with safety it's time to buckle down and be tough. Step up and be a parent, it's like
Ruby is afraid of eve or somethjng.

Not just a search of temple movies, but check out newnamenoah on youtube, he's gone to the temple with a camera and shows what actually goes on there. Too bad we don't know ruby and Kevins endowment date because then we would know their "new name". that is also a huge thing, everyone gets the same new name on the same date of the month. Going to the temple isn't like going to church, it's very weird. I love the exmormon reddit.

Also have you noticed how Russell, sometimes Eve too, keeps moving his tongue in and out as he chews and eats? That's something that only happens when they are a baby learning to eat. Just sit and try to move your tongue in and out while eating. It's so wrong and off.
