I watch sporadically so I probably missed it, but why did parents move? Didn't they spend a ton of time and money on their former backyard??

Isn’t their break over why are they still using pre recorded film? And also when are they going to clarify what their schedule is. They can’t carry on like this foreverjanem wrote:FYI... the preK parent/teacher conferences at Ollie’s school were the week of January 22-26. That’s a huge delay when you consider that they could have shown it while they were gone. There really wasn’t much content to it. They’re getting so lazy. Really hope their laziness catches up with them. One thing I noticed is that they’re very careful not to post on IG about stuff like that. It would be too obvious (the delay). I just thought it seemed a little late for conference and Wondered if that was why they had such a short hawaii trip.

Looks like today’s video was from 1/24. Cassie posted a video on the 25th where Finn was riding the Roomba and she, her parents, and the boys were all wearing the same clothes as in the vlog. And you can see the clubs they were juggling with in Cassie’s video sitting on the table in today’s DB vlog. So yeah, it’s week and half old.

They used that backyard something like twice. It was too hot in the summer, which two minutes of research on the type of ground cover they used would have told them. But we know they don't research anything. They just do it. Because they know best.spiralstatic wrote:I watch sporadically so I probably missed it, but why did parents move? Mimi and Papa had to move because when Bryan and Missy moved into the "Property", they were farther away. So it was inconvenient.
In Cassie's video about taking Ollie to Disneyland, he is happily eating homemade french toast! I thought he was sooooo picky and will only eat frozen pancakes. That's Missy's litany anyway. And Cassie talks about the color of the car they're in on the Cars ride. She's just so great with Ollie. And Finn. Thank goodness they have her in their lives.

LOL-- I used to like a St Germain and champagne cocktail. She is soooo stuck in a rut. Remember her thing for chicken gnocchi soup? Pronounced "chicken no-key", lol. At least it had vegetables in it!onbreak wrote:Vodka cranberry was my favorite when I was 17... Then I puked and freaked out that my mouth was bleeding

If Cassie has kids and she has a girl, while Missy is stuck with 5 boys, I'm going to laugh SO HARD, I'll get launched to the moon!

Interesting moment in Cassie's vlog: she gets down to hug both boys, and Carlos' nephew gives her a hug, and Ollie goes in for the hug but turns around to face the camera while hugging Cassie. It's just a little thing, but it spoke volumes to me. I wonder how many hugs he gets off camera.

Re: DailyMyLittlePony (Part 101)
So, are they ever going to catch up with the vlogs, or are we going to be getting clip shows from now on that don’t even pretend to be happening in typical vlog timing?
There is also noticeably less social media activity from Bryan. And the stuff he does post seems.... I don’t know how to describe it. “Professional”, or calculated, I guess. Retweeting a lot of “YouTube is great, if it’s your passion, you’ll succeed”, and a bunch of “don’t be judgey, you never know what other people are going threw” type tweets. Missy still posts her typical instastories, but not much else.
Their brand is changing too much. They’re becoming inaccessible, which is the main draw of vloggers.

It really feels like daily vlogging is on the way out.
You know You Tube... Why do you think all these vloggers are suddenly doing delayed vlogs? Is it simply because they can? Or is it somehow better for business?
It feels like something is changing behind the scenes at YT. Any insights into what that may be?

didn't she omit at least some of the veggies when she made it at home though? lol But they would buy it by the gallon from OG so at least she got them then. Although she could have picked them outlmmomSD wrote:LOL-- I used to like a St Germain and champagne cocktail. She is soooo stuck in a rut. Remember her thing for chicken gnocchi soup? Jameson.. on the rocks or with Sprite, occasionally a mojito (which Missy should try, i think she would like them if she could get over the mint being ACTUALLY in the drink). I'm definitely a whiskey girl though, and Miller Lite, call me basic.. but i'm totally down to try new cocktails as long as they arent too sticky sweet.

YouTube is making it hard to make money for traditional family vloggers.HelloSweetie wrote:Theirmom wrote:So, are they ever going to catch up with the vlogs, or are we going to be getting clip shows from now on that don’t even pretend to be happening in typical vlog timing?

Their ad revenue is likely down quite a bit, so they’re having to make more brand deals. Brand deals need to be pre-approved by the company. A delayed schedule accommodates the time required for the sponsor to approve the ad.
Also, everyone is scrambling to use the new policies and algorithms to their advantage. YouTube is making a heavy shift to informative content. They want educational videos, which are more time-consuming to produce.
Not just for kids either. They want DIYs, crafting, language learning, music lessons, dance, etc. This is why I’m taking 1-2 months off. I did my year of vlogging, and now I want to focus on weekly videos that are more polished.
And vlogging sucks. I don’t want to do it anymore lol I honestly don’t understand how these daily vloggers have the stomach for it. I felt like such a faker by the end of the year. I just wanted to make GOOD, creative content instead of the crap I was throwing together. But I just didn’t have time to plan, film and edit the kind of content I wanted to make and also stick to a daily schedule. I don’t understand how these vloggers are fully satisfied producing this fluff. It’s soul-sucking.

Re: DailyMyLittlePony (Part 101)
Given the amount of YTers now professing to having anxiety and depression, I don’t think they are satisfied. Of course they love the money and that seems to keep them going (or at least searching for happiness in that next big purchase!) but I don’t think many of them are truly fulfilled.Theirmom wrote: And vlogging sucks. Wow. Any excuse now. They’re really shutting themselves in the butt with this stuff. The minions are going to catch on soon (I hope). Bryan even had to use the hashtag that people are using to stay home since they’re hung over. He really is a douchebag.cat9480 wrote:

I bet they are hiding just how delayed they are. People would expect to see footage of them watching the Super Bowl today.

Re: DailyMyLittlePony (Part 101)
It really does work well for them that they have everyone blocked. It’s only a matter of time before a “critical” tweet or comment gets through that bursts the illusion for the minions.
