Sounds like she could have the beginnings of chronic kidney disease. I'm an ER nurse and have had a few patients who've been sent from their primary cares after poor kidney lab results. We usually give them a liter of fluid (because dehydration is a major cause of kidney injuries) and recheck their levels. Some perk right back up (indicating it was a more acute issue) and others don't and sometimes need admitted. I'm guessing Ruby's is more of a chronic issue and not too bad yet because they didn't send her to the ER and she had two tests in a row show issues. All sorts of things could be the cause, including her countless pregnancies, overusing NSAIDS (maybe for her back pain or when she was strung out on pills??), or even just not drinking enough water and maintaining a nutritious diet...honestly her meals, which can often border on starvation tactics (and which I suspect were a lot worse pre-youtube) could have played a role.

I’m not the one who asked the question but wanted to say thank you for an informative post.

In this video I got to say Julie was being really annoying. She kept trying to show Abby that her valentine's was better. I don't think Abby was competing it was all Julie.

^ I feel like it was developmentally appropriate behaviour that had very little to do with 'crushes on boys' and more just to do with sibling rivalry which was turned into a ridiculous clickbaity story by their mother trying to make some money from views.

Shari is such a vile girl. this whole little miss know it all act and constantly offending her siblings and parents, know wonder she has no friends. i wouldn't be. she wont go far in life with that outlook that she knows all and everyone else is below her. shes actually not smart at all, she just knows how to sound mature. her dad encourages it also, which creeps me out how much of a daddys girl she is at her age. knowing facts and reading books doesn't equal to intelligence. having common sense does. so next time she put dry hot chocolate powder on a cake she should rethink that quality she believes to have. and also what kind of parents lets there kids eat muffins and desert for breakfast, let alone 5 muffins 0_o in Europe we eat very light for breakfast, and things like that are a treat in the week like one cookie, not a whole try. no wonder Americas have high heart problems and diabetes.

It grossed me out to know that the had their pajamas on sitting in a public place and then go home and climb in their sheets. Ick! Who knows what has happened on those seats and who sat there? GROSS!

Has anybody noticed the kids sleep quite often without sheets on the beds? GROSS again!

Does Ruby try to be a flop to be more "relatable?" I'm going to make a special Valentine's dinner, but oh no... the cheese is bad! Like can she not do anything right?!

I literally can't stand Shari and her snotty attitude. Chad's a brat. Russell is insane and Eve is so manipulative and un-cute it hurts. I can't stand this family!!

Okay I'm literally dying to know why she threw out all of the kids fun dip candy. She said he mom always did (which, yeah explains why Ruby has to) but she didn't say WHY! Does she think its going to be laced with drugs or something? Is it because its basically pure sugar (which doesn't make sense with all the sweets they eat anyway)? Also I feel so bad for the kids classmates, who likely watch the vlogs, to see their valentines to Abby and Julie get tossed in the trash.

My daughter had a classmate choke on the fundip stick in 3rd grade. Another 3rd grader jumped in with the Heimlich saved her life.
I don't let my kids eat it anymore. ( I know you can choke on anything.)

That actually makes a whole lot of sense! I had never even thought about that. I wonder if that is Rubys reasoning, seems fair enough if it is since she has small kids. Still, I feel bad for any classmates that watch who saw their valentines thrown away. It would have made me sad as a kid to know a friend tossed a valentine.

She explained her reasoning for throwing the fun dip out- something about spillage and ants. I actually agree that there's no reason for kids to have fun dip, and that they probably are a choking hazard. She probably should have just done that off camera, though.

Also, are they normally one WEEK behind? I thought it was only a few days but this is getting a bit weird.
