I can’t picture Jess working a 9-5. I mean she’s almost 26 and has never worked a day in her life. Does she realize how difficult it’s going to be to start out in the workforce at that age?
Even if YouTube keeps paying the bills for 5 more years, she’ll be over 30 before she starts looking for work.
And Chris... Who knows if he’ll go back to work by then. At that point, he’ll pretty much have to. For him, it’ll still be hard to go back to work after staying home for all of those years.
Teaching doesn’t seem like a good fit for her; I feel like she might’ve changed her mind on her future career choice.

I just can't picture Jess as a nurse ! She has no compassion or patience that it takes to become one. She has a problem with whatever medical science or a MD says. How can she work as a nurse ? I'm sure she'll get fired within a week. This is however VERY hypothetical.

I am currently in a teaching credential program in California and I do not see her doing this. I don't think she has what it takes. First of all you need a Bachelor's degree, tests like CBEST and all the CSETs of your subject matter. A lot of people in the program have one or more masters.

No no no I agree it's terrible. but wether it's legitimate or not it's still her job and it still is income. I just feel like at this point it's too late to just stop. 7-9 people are relying on this YouTube income so they need to come up with a plan. She should go back to school while doing YouTube and Chris should get a job. IMO, that's all I'm saying. I hope she doesn't try to make YouTube happen forever, especially when her kids are teens. She's embarrassing enough lol

Just caught up on some of the vlogs; and I'm aware that I'm being nit picky, but it bothered me when Chris was taking Kaden to the movie. One reason is because of course it was Kaden. Kyson is always last and an irrelevant thought. Another reason is because Landon threw a fit and Chris promised him next time he would bring him. I understand he's a kid but I really can't stand when kids sob and moan to get their way.

What do I think would happen...I think Jess would either sell or rent the house.They would no doubt move back in with Mimi.I can't picture Jess getting a real job,either.So I think Chris would work some menial job,and they would somehow get by.Perhaps they would qualify for aid, without youtube income.
I can't really see Chris leaving,as long as Jess doesn't kick him to the curb.I don't think he would care to pay child support for 3 kids.
Jess would continue to vlog wherever she could,in case another moneymaking opportunity came up.
That said,I do think Chris should take this time to go to trade school or community college,and learn a real career.There are so many things he could do.
When he married Jess,he in effect agreed to take on her large family,in addition to his own 2 kids,and imo,he should be prepared to step up to plate,should youtube income ever dwindle or disappear.

And for God's sake Chris,pay your own damn child support! That's what real men do!

I guess it's a side effect of growing up in a certain economic class but nursing and teaching both seem like bad choices to me? They both require long hours, can be extremely competitive, and the pay wouldn't begin to cover her and the kids' expenses. To be fair unless those 'work from home!' scams suddenly become legit she's kinda screwed - what job requires few hours, pays $$$ and will take a 2 year jc degree?

Teaching's actually a great career if having children is important to you. Since you share the same hours and have breaks at the same time you get to maximize your time with them. Plus (at least in my district) you get great benefits for your kids in terms of health insurance and stuff. Sure you have to do a lot of work at home, but that's just part of time management and you get the summer and winter break. And again, maybe this is just because of my district, and I'm in California, but teachers at minimum start at like $50,000, which yeah is not a lot but you could certainly live off that without struggling too much. I know once I start having kids though I'm going to have to go get my Masters because the pay caps at like $57,000. But most teachers I know are also married, and have spouses that have a job too coughnotchriscough.

And I agree with above about what it takes to be a teacher. I just finished my credential program and it was BRUTAL. It's why I believe she should take advantage of this awesome opportunity with Youtube before it's too late. I would have killed to not have had to take out a student loan while I was student teaching(I didn't have time to have a job!)

Thank you! Honestly if you can somehow manage to NOT work next semester you really shouldn't. If you can live with friends or family to save rent, work over the summer to save up some money, take out a small loan, etc. I did secondary ed so 1st semester was only 1 class, 2nd was 3 classes. So not only did I have 3x as many students but I also needed to do interviews with the district and the hell that was the edTPA. You'll be so tired and busy that you NEED the weekends off, not just to plan but to also recharge so you have the energy for it!

I was looking at that IG and OMG they are all ugly, i don't know much about lashes, makeup or "girly" things, i have always been a little tomboy'ish, but im sure as hell i dont want those ugly things on my eyes. Do they really like that? Or thats the cheapest place they found? Or what??? Because they look like 1$ lashes you buy in a dollar store.
