ThisGatheredNest
Re: ThisGatheredNest
I really liked the house video today. But I really hope they don't sell it. I get its not open concept but especially as the kids get older they will want more privacy and finding a home with as many rooms and that amazing back yard will be close to impossible. I guess I would watch them build but I feel like that will make them less relatable knowing Angie would want a dream home type build and I hate how YouTube money changes people.

I was disappointed as well when I got to the end of the video and she was talking about selling their house. Their house is nice! And has plenty of room! I didn't realize how much stuff they have though! Looking forward to more organizing videos. Maybe she will get rid of a lot.
Re: ThisGatheredNest
Their house is huge and really nice. She's starting to rub me the wrong way and I hate that cuz I do like her. But I'm starting to get the feeling that she's always going to want more. Nothing is ever going to be good enough. Like she just remodeled her dining room and changed it to a office. She did such a good job decorating it. But she's not completely satisfied. Maybe they can rent out the house so they don't sell it and lose it.

I know I’m awful but...I really thought when the twins were born they’d grow into their looks by now but...definitely hasn’t happened yet (in my opinion). Amelia is definitely a little cuter, but Ivy has always been a bit odd looking to me babywise. I’ll be curious to see what they look like in a few years.

Re: ThisGatheredNest
I really like Angie but I can't get over the way she talks about her house. She comes across as very ungrateful, especially as someone who has adopted kids from third world countries and seen the conditions that some people have no choice but to live in. She should know better. I get that we all have our complaining moments, but far out. There is nothing wrong with their house.
It's a decently nice/cute 5 bedroom house with an awesome outdoor porch area, huge backyard in what seems to be a pretty nice neighbourhood. Not to mention it is full of lovely furniture, all the rooms are decorated and she was able to afford to do some renovations on the kitchen and the dining room/office.
I think she may be getting to that point in her youtube career where people usually change for the worse.

I hate to say I agree. Although I know most "ugly babies" grow up to be the most beautiful adults.blonderoast wrote:

I just wish they would trim her hair! There is absolutely no reason why they have to wait until she is one year old to cut it. It's all wives tales and superstition. I can't handle it being crazy.

Yeah I think so too. Like who even can relate to her?velvetfreak wrote: I think she may be getting to that point in her youtube career where people usually change for the worse.
Re: ThisGatheredNest
BUT IT’S FROM THE 80’s. Geez. She’s suffering here. Lol, I think it’s a great house too. And, she should realize, things being spread out and little closed off could be great as they get a little older too.velvetfreak wrote:I really like Angie but I can't get over the way she talks about her house. Re: ThisGatheredNest
I was also sad when she started to talk about selling. It is SUCH a nice house and that yard
How is it only 5 bedrooms though?
1.Empty room that will be one of the girls' room
2.Th older girls shared room
3.Rosie
4.The Boys
5/The twins
Is the master actually the attic? I have wondered before due to the size and she said it was three stories, is there a basement?
They are really lucky with not only the outside but that MASSIVE bonus room off the kitchen. Their next reno/decor project should be that room, they could break it up really nicely and utilize all the space

I wonder if there is basement too, because if there is, they could possible renovate if they needed to, to add an extra living/family room space. I do not think that they are going to find a house that will accommodate everything they need as a large family as well as this house has.

I assume the empty room (old office) is actually the attic, not the master bedroom.WheresMyCoffee wrote:I was also sad when she started to talk about selling. It is SUCH a nice house and that yard

Maybe she's looking for a sponsorship from BenettonBlackswan wrote:That's like saying I got the same shirt in all the colors.maggielin wrote:I feel like the embryo adoption was the perfect thing to even out the family a little bit.
They have bio kids (that she carried)
They have adopted kids (that someone else carried)
And then they have embryo adoption (Adopted children she can carry herself)
I feel like the twins balanced the family out a lot more. Perfect balance.
I see NapTubers everywhere
Re: ThisGatheredNest
I think they should keep the boys and the twins in the same room like they have now. No need to buy a new house. No reasonably priced NICE modern house would accommodate them perfectly. 7 kids. 2 adults. Unless you're loaded and you buy a 10 bedroom house, you'll always be squeezin when it comes to space. It's a surprise they have a playroom or a school room. I mean if they wanted to give their kids their own space they'd need a 7 bedroom house. They could find a older house but end up at square one when it comes to renovations and on top of that, it's not guaranteed that they'd have a yard like that and remain in a location thats not super rural.
If it were my house:
Twins probably won't "need" their own rooms until at least 8-10. I'd move them into the biggest room.
Rosie should have her own room. Just so she has her own space and she's still building independence. Plus her age.
Older girls should get their own rooms. They'll probably be in them for a shorter amount of time anyways.
Boys would share. Boys tend to be able to share a rooms longer than girls imo.
I'm sure that's what they're doing. Haha. Angela isn't braindead.

Where I'm from, a 7 bedroom house is a mansion and you'll def pay that mansion price too. Average house in my neighborhood has 3 rooms and one "apartment" (full kitchen, full bathroom and one bedroom/living area) in the basement and that's like 400,000-600,000 They could find a older house but end up at square one when it comes to renovations and on top of that, it's not guaranteed that they'd have a yard like that and remain in a location thats not super rural.

Re: ThisGatheredNest
She has a serious first world problem. I don't understand these youtubers and their insistence on each of their kids having their own rooms. What's wrong with sharing? Even past 10 years old? I don't get it. If anyone in that house would need their own rooms past a certain age it would be the boys.
Re: ThisGatheredNest
We just got done adding "more house" to our house, we have a lot of land but not a lot of house. About 2000 square ft more to the side with a "sun hallway" (sun room/window hallway thingy) basically another den area and a "guest room" or mother-in-law extension. We're hoping to move our oldest in there in about 4 years and move our young children around too.
They should do that. We basically saved a ton of money because a extension was in the houses original plans so it was sort of "set up" already, we had a sunroom at the side that could turn into an extension. Adding 2000 more square feet when we decided to construct more "building"

Re: ThisGatheredNest
From my understanding, I don't think they'll move to another house. But, will purchase land and build one instead. With as much as they seem to love Angie's parents place, I can see it happening eventually. Someone asked Angie what year the house was built and I believe she said 1989. To me that's not old. With as much land as they have adding on seems like a much smarter idea. And as for the bedrooms, I personally don't think anyone but Rosie needs their own room. Not until they're at least high school age. I've always loved Angie, but I feel like ever since she got pregnant with the twins her desire of always wanting more than she has really shines through. Them raising awareness for embryo adoption is great, but I'm torn because I don't feel like her getting pregnant again after being so sick with Kennedy and Shelby was a smart move. At least not when Noah, Rosie and Jonah still rely so heavily on her.
