Someone please tell these people that buying your kid a Patagonia jacket and camping in your back yard does not make you a wanderer.

Re: Steps to Controlling Your Spouse
I'm not a doctor, but it is normal to make a doctor's appointment and go to a lab for a full blood panel due to some very faint broken capillaries? That seemed like overkill to me. I'm not terribly surprised the doctor's office suggested they come in and offered the blood work, sadly that seems to be the way that a lot of doctors are providing care these days for a variety of reasons. But I was somewhat surprised that Kelsey and Corbin went along with it. Maybe it's new parent anxiety, but I also wonder if they're just so desperate for footage and a trip to the doctor's office makes for more clicks. Unless they can somehow afford really great insurance with a low deductible on their own, that lab work had to have cost a lot out of pocket.

Re: Steps to Controlling Your Spouse
I guess that maybe it could be a sign of something more serious? So the whole better safe than sorry thinking comes into play. I was more surprised that they thought a full blood panel (which is what they called it when they left the dr's office, so it's not like they didn't know what was ordered) was just going to be a finger stick. And Corbin already telling June "Oh i promise you wont have any owies today!!" was the dumbest thing ever. I know she didn't understand what he was saying but that was a huge mistake. Don't ever promise your kids things like that!! I assume June has state insurance(PeachCare here in GA no clue what it would be in Cali) so nothing out of pocket. I doubt they show making enough for her not to qualify.HashtagBlessed wrote:I'm not a doctor, but it is normal to make a doctor's appointment and go to a lab for a full blood panel due to some very faint broken capillaries? Re: Steps to Controlling Your Spouse
These two are such idiots! Kelsey seemed a little worried about the camping trip coming up in two weeks. I’m sure she’s rethinking the long back packing trip with Corbin and June. A camping trip is one thing when you have but this backpacking thing is a mistake. It’s too long/far. I’m sure in Corbin’s mind his family will be helping but it’s goi got make everyone miserable if she’s not sleeping and crying.
For someone who is so into swimming as he wants people to believe... that was a swim mask and not goggles!!!! There’s no way she’s going to be using a kick board anytime soon. It’ll be interesting to see what they do at this class because usually it’s only 1 parent in the water at a time. He should really just stay out of it and let kelsey do it with June. But we all know that Corbin’s ego will get in the way.

Re: Steps to Controlling Your Spouse
They havent even acclimated june for the backpacking trip AT ALL... they are going to be miserable. You start small and work up to bigger trips like this with babies/toddlers. I doubt June has even been in the carrier longer than 15 mins and they expect her to just be cool in there for hours while they hike. Yeah MAYBE if you had started getting her used too it 4 months ago you loons!!!

They'll probably still go and shoot with clever angles to make it look like 10 people signed up and went with them when maaaaybe one or two will.candy_toffee wrote:Well, I mean it's not easy to find 10 people under the same IQ of 10 as them so there you have it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ewokfan11 wrote:

Re: Steps to Controlling Your Spouse
Corbin is a weirdo. He's making WAAAAAAY too big of a deal about a baby swim class. Guess what, Corbin, almost ALL kids take swim classes!! And he has a "connection to water" basically because he knows how to swim?? And Kelsey does too?? Wow, aren't they special.
They are so desperate to make the most basic things seem 100% more interesting than they actually are.
And, YIKES, June couldn't even sleep through the night in the tent in the backyard. Um, isn't their big trip like a week or so away??? Huh, I'm guessing they cancel last minute. It's really unfair to take June on such a big trip like that with ZERO experience. They just aren't properly prepared.

Re: Steps to Controlling Your Spouse
I find it so strange that Corbin is the one that has to experience all the first with June. Earrings should have been a mother daughter day had June wanted them. But Corbin and his "heritage " won that one. And he got some with her. Now the water speaks to Corbin and he has to do swim classes with her. He used to say that June loved him best. It's always some strange competition with that baby. I am sorry but I find his obsession with her very off putting. I have three kids. I love my kids but wow, I mean I have no issues with my husband and me sharing them equally.

It is strange and offputting. He’s a narcissist. He needs Kelsey and Juniper to be completely dependent on him — he thrives off of it.Steps_to_STFU wrote:I find it so strange that Corbin is the one that has to experience all the first with June. I mean, you’d think Corbin was the one who labored, birthed, and nursed her her whole life.

Re: Steps to Controlling Your Spouse
Seriously! I'm divorced and we never competed for the kids' affection the way Corbin is! It's not healthy to act like one parent is "less than". June is going to pick up on that and not treat Kelsey with respect.

Re: Steps to Controlling Your Spouse
I had an uncle who was like that with my brother and me. He always told us he was glad he didn't have his own kids because he could never love them as much as he loved us. He was WAY too intimate with us and thought he had a right to know all the private moments of our lives. When I was in my early 20's, I cut him out of my life because he stalked me online pretending to be someone my age and verbally sexually harassed me. I get some similarly creepy vibes from Corbin.Steps_to_STFU wrote: I am sorry but I find his obsession with her very off putting. I have three kids. Yes, a very strange creepy vibe. It's really uncomfortable most times to watch him with her.fossilfinger wrote:I had an uncle who was like that with my brother and me. These two are selfish assholes. June is going to be miserable one these camping trips. She's never liked them and they keep trying to force it.

Re: Steps to Controlling Your Spouse
Yes, I think they SHOULD cancel the trip. Sleeping in a tent in the backyard/living is WAY different than camping a TEN mile hike from civilization (or just where they parked the car—it sounds like this place is WAAAAAAY out there). Are they just planning to force to her to do it because they want to?? A six hour drive, then a ten mile hike and sleep in a tent in a very unfamiliar place??? Are they insane???!!Steps_to_STFU wrote:These two are selfish assholes. June is going to be miserable one these camping trips. She's never liked them and they keep trying to force it.
They really should have tried a lot harder to find a different place to camp overnight first! It really sounds like they gave up on trying.

Re: Steps to Controlling Your Spouse
He doesn't fool me with the "my love" nonsense while the camera is on. He's inadvertently shown his true self- he can be quite controlling, demeaning, competitive, cruel, etc. to Kelsey. Filming those pranks really drove home the point that he is not a nice man, and he uses instances like that to reinforce who's in charge. And then there are little things here and there, like his attitude towards her spending and the way he clearly needs to be the one who controls the purse strings, and the way she walks on egg shells around him when she wants to do something as basic as leave the house alone. I think that controlling attitude with absolutely transfer to June. I'm sure Corbin has Kelsey convinced that control equals love.

Re: Steps to Controlling Your Spouse
Well, they gave up on having June sleep in the tent in the living room—they totally got rid of it. I think that's a sign the camping trip is canceled. I'm pretty sure they were supposed to go next weekend.
Corbin is SOOOOOO full of himself it's just embarrassing.

Re: Steps to Controlling Your Spouse
So they posted this comment on another (equally shitty) youtubers video.
Can somebody tell them for the love of their hippie god, to not bring another human in their dysfunctional family. No child deserves Corbin (especially) and Kelsey as their parent.
On a side note, if they are thinking about it, it may be the only project they are able to complete (albeit prematurely)

Re: Steps to Controlling Your Spouse
All of this. Something about the "my love" thing always bothered me and he has always rubbed me the wrong way personality wise. But when I saw their draw my life one it all made sense. He's a very shitty person. He controlled everything in that relationship from day one. He breaks up with her to do his thing then when he's done (probably unable to find anyone else willing to fuck him) he goes and tells her he wants to be married. Shes an idiot! Even now with the prank shit. Hers are silly and his are cruel. But he will whine like a little bitch at her pranks while his are just kidding. He's such a piece of shit. Then add on the shit he pulls with June.. He's just awfulHashtagBlessed wrote:He doesn't fool me with the "my love" nonsense while the camera is on. Re: Steps to Controlling Your Spouse
I get the feeling Kelsey is OK with Corbin's weird behavior because she doesn't want to get a job or she's too co-dependent. Kelsey seems to have ZERO skills, which makes me a little sad for her—I certainly couldn't just sit around with a jerk like Corbin all day, every day! I just get a really toxic feeling about their relationship. I think Corbin needs to find a job outside of YT and Kelsey needs to get some hobbies and friends.
