What she fails to realise is by saying she needs to take the dogs to get their nails trimmed she's openly admitting they don't walk them. At least not anywhere near as much as dogs need walking, to be contented little creatures. Cue filming them taking the dogs for a walk in 3, 2, 1, just like they did at the old house when the dog's nails were brought up here.

I have hardwood and the dogs nails don’t bother it because my dogs nails are short. They’re short because I walk.

I have an 80lb Lab, and we keep his nails short, but he's ruined our hardwoods. If he runs on them (which we do our absolute best to keep him from doing so), he digs into the wood to gain traction. When he passes away we'll have to refinish them or have them replaced with something tougher like LifeProof flooring. I cringe every time they have Soca over and they wind her up because I can just imagine the damage she's doing even with short nails. I don't think Emma and Ada could do anything to those floors if they tried. They're too small and old.

We have hardwood, and a 80 lb pittie x, our floors look great! But we keep up on her nails.
I cant imagine the look and smell of that house. Between the laundry piles and cat pee it must stink, let alone all the scratches from the dogs and cat.

Yeah i agree that Emma and Ada probably aren't doing damage to the floors. Nail trims are HELL for my dog, she HATES them and has to me muzzled and wrapped in a towel for them to get them done, but we still take her every few weeks bc it HAS to be done. We are having family issues with my sister and my mom is currently caring for her dog. She had to take her to the vet bc i don't think she's had her nails trimmed in over a year, maybe longer. The vet scolded my mom bc one of her nails was starting to grow back into her paw. It made me so angry.. but OT..

How old are Emma and Ada? Ada is showing her age with all that white fur creeping in. Maybe she's not as old as she is starting to look though, my girl started turning white when she was 3 or 4 years old, she's 9 now and her whole face is almost white. Emma is older than Ada right? I feel like Howard had Emma long before they got Ada, but i could be wrong. Either way we dont see them ripping and racing around the house anymore so i doubt they are doing damage, to the floors at least... damaging their feet maybe.
