Shari is such a Brat! Didn't want to participate on raising awareness for leukemia! I know Lemons are sour but if this is one tiny thing you can do to help others and raise awareness given the huge platform you have don't you thing you should do it?!?! Just baffled because imagine what people with leukemia have to go thru and she is having a little fit because she has to bite into a lemon WOW!

The video was very acted out but it did get the message across. I know the Tannerites/Yawi family tagged them to do the challenge but she didn't even call them out or mention that they tagged her. I know Ruby didn't call them out because she doesn't want them getting subscribers but thats not the point she should call them out so people can also go watch the tanneries video and raise more awareness.

Ruby also didn't even call out other people to participate in the challenge! This is most likely because she doesn't want other people getting more subscribers or shout outs on her channel. She tries to act like the challenge meant a lot to her which I am sure it did but if she really was for raising awareness she would have shouted other channels out to participate. Maybe she did and I missed it? Im not sure.

Her family is so weird about that. They go on vacation with April and Dave and the Tannerites, but won't give them a shout out? Ellie and Jared will go out with other vloggers, and vlog vacations with them, but won't give anyone a shoutout-- not even family members.

me too. maybe not in the way she did as it wasn't informative and still conservative the way she came across. but when i started my period around 13-14 (i was already aware myself by then) and i called for my mom for help and she very coldly through me a pad and walked away and never said a word about it after. and the only conversations of sex discussed between us was not educating me. but accusing me of being pregnant or being used i learnt everything from friends and experiences. personally if i had a kid, i would be flat out honest from the start without sugar coating it, and encourage and support anything that comes naturally.

But isn't just saying I dont want to do it with the video title saying lemon challenge for Leukemia getting the point of spreading awareness. just saying instantly gets people thinking about it, just like this conversation were having. people don't have to do something because its for a cause. i wouldn't parachute for Parkinson's if you catch my drift lol

The problem isn’t the period content itself, it’s the fact that Abby doesn’t look comfortable when filming this and would clearly rather not talk about it. Shari on the other hand has had period for a while and is clearly more opening to talking about it which is great. Abby will become more comfortable over the years and I think Ruby should wait. It’s a maturity thing, when I first started my period I wouldn’t tell anyone, now I remember many nights at party’s when people had gone to bed, the rest of us would sit there educating the boys that we actually have 3 holes!

Children at that age can not have the responsibility to make decisions that could follow them the rest of their life.
Abby is going to go on job interviews or apply to Colleges and this will pop up when someone googles her.
We all know when that Happens Ruby will say "you gave me permission." And put all the blame on her. Its completely sad.

Why didn't Ruby explain to Russell that a dollar is more than 55 cents? We started counting money in 1st grade, where he'll be this coming school year. She could have quickly said "Russell, it takes 100 cents to make a dollar. 1 dollar is more than 55 cents." A quick, easy lesson. She started to say "it's a little more than..." but when he said he'd settle, that leads me to believe he thinks it's less.

You are giving Ruby too much credit. That would mean Ruby would have to actually parent her child and teach them something. She can't be bothered with that. She has too much other stuff going on, like sleeping in, laying around, taking a nap, dreaming up more inappropriate content to film and more ways to exploite her children, and then waiting around for Sheri and Chad to get home so she can film them coming home and being "stern" with them. She has no time to actual teach her children (girls) anything except for how to look pretty so boys will like you and you will find a boyfriend who will want to marry you by the time you are 18. Other than that, these kids are on their own. Oh I forgot, #staypuffy. Who could forget that wonderful little lesson she taught her girls? She is as dumb as a box of rocks.

^^^ My initial thought was Shari threw a fit bc Ruby or Kevin said she couldn't go to Brevins house unless Chad went with her or something. She probably hounded him until he said hed go. In my mind she is most definitely that sister..

No wonder he was rolling his eyes when Brevin was reading the card he made Shari.
Remember Ruby posted something about having to take Ellie on dates (so did Bonnie) and either Ruby or Ellie said something about how she would make out with the guy so Ellie had "a good show". Eww. So obviously she grew up having siblings chaperone, and you know that the way the Griffiths did it was the best way.
Personally I think it's pretty unfair. They shouldn't put that responsibility on a sibling.

I totally agree, plus Ruby is not being consistent. Shari can't date until she is 16 however Brevin seems like a boyfriend to me. But no no, we don't call it that. She can however go on 'dates' when she is accompanied by Chad or one time Abby.
They should make a decision, either she dates the boy and can go on dates alone or she doesn't date until she is 16. I think it is up to the parents but to be fair to Shari, they should make a decision.

Yup the tanneries have a kid called Azbury. Their youngest super spoilt kid is called Canyon and his nickname is Gigo Figo Siego Migo which is the most annoying thing to hear!

Basically her parents sat her down and guilted her about the "filth" she was following on social media, told her she was spending too much time on it (she's a teenager, of course she's always on her phone), and she was being cyber-bullied, kids from school were screenshotting her videos and making fun of them on social media.

Honestly meme pages I follow don't have anything out of the ordinary that you wouldn't find on. youtube or in a movie. I think they overreact about everything. Does anyone else think that Chad and Daniel (tanneries) will be the ones to leave the mormon church and explore without restrictions?
