i feel like we could give her some wiggle room with the sponsorships. yeah they might be annoying but their family is large. i cant imagine youtube money making a huge difference when you have it going 7 different ways.

I get what you’re saying. The thing about sponsorships that are frustrating to me, though, is how vloggers talk about this “life changing” product that they always use/can’t live without anymore, and then we never see or hear anything about it again. It just doesn’t seem honest to me.

Exactly this. Not just Angie but most youtubers never mention the product again. And then we see them using a different dish soap *cough cough* britneyandbaby *cough cough*. And some of the sponsorships are petty ass shit or big ticket items that cost more than $1k and we still don't see or hear about it again.

i dont mind the sponsorships. she's a stay at home mom of 7, her family is very popular (multicultural) and she has a good personality, very real and honest. she makes a solid mom-spokesperson for companies. might as well make some bank and receive some free stuff for the kids. im not mad at the grind. id choose her over myka stauffer or ellie mecham.

She shouldn't have had 7 kids then.

im sure they can afford and support 7 kids without the sponsorships and without YouTube but anyone with a large family knows that entertaining kids can be expensive so im sure she doesnt mind getting sent little subscription boxes with shit for the kids to do.

i doubt they make enough to live only on YouTube funds. they probably fall in between making enough to stay motivated and consistent with videos but not making enough that they're able to quit their jobs and live off of YouTube alone

i normally skip through sponsor clips but i understand the grind. she has 7 kids. it would be dumb as fuck of she continued making videos (while raising 7 kids) for free. you can hate her all you want, but you know for fact, it would be stupid and pointless if the family wasn't benefiting. if she wasn't getting sponsors i feel like it would be a waste of time in her situation. that being said she probably does it because she DOES receive sponsorship, she gets to document her kids lives and she gets a little spending money and free stuff. i aint mad

also i doubt they're handing her actual cash. she's probably getting discount codes, free memberships and free items, not actual cash. sponsors rarely send them legit cash. she'd have to be a spokesperson and that would require a contract.

the TOP beauty gurus dont even get cash. brands send them products to try and unless you're partners with tarte and they're sending you on a island vacation, youll prob just receive pr boxes.

This makes no sense. She works for her money."She shouldnt have had 7 kids" is something you say about someone living off th system. She can support her 7 kids by doing sponsorships and her husbands full time job. I am honestly confused AF by this comment.
Putting the vlogging aspect aside, who would honestly say NO to free product or thousands to make a quick "commercial" for a product???

The big news Angie has been talking about for a while now is that People magazine wrote an article/feature about her family. She's got it posted all over Instagram. As for any other news she may be announcing soon, I still thing Angie and Ashleigh will be starting a podcast. Just because Ashleigh has been mentioning the big news for a while and that she and Angie will be doing something together.

Pretty cool that they came out in People magazine. But I wonder if Angie is like Jesss in the sense that she hawks her family out for spotlight. It's not the first time Angie has been in a magazine. Even though only in local ones. Are they reaching out to her or is she busting a Jesss and reaching out to different media outlets? I don't think so but you never know. No one is as desperate as Jessss though. Jesss has been in a local cable channel, AFHV, and something else I can't remember right now.

I agree that sponsorships are totally fine and necessary for her job, but I disagree that those speaking negatively about them are jealous. Some people just don't understand, and not liking something someone does, doesn't mean they're jealous. The word jealous is used incorrectly way too often on this site.

And I understand that’s her job, obviously. My issue is the fact that every video has a sponsorship so it seems disingenuous. I just want to watch a regular family vlog and not have a product thrown in my face at every turn.

She made mention on Instagram that the author of the article sent her an email inquiring about writing about them. He supposedly sent more than one email asking because she ignored the first one because she thought it was a joke.

I dont read People anymore but it was a magazine my mom always bought when I was a teen and I read it.. I remember they did always have an article in the back about different kinds of families, so I am sure they reached out to her or maybe somebody submitted her and then People reached out to her because of that.
