My very close friend had a baby couple of months ago and I "splurged" on her gift - it was a 20€ gift card to a baby store and a stuffed animal, so the total was like 26€. So why in the world would I spend 40€ on a stanger?

I spend 25$ -75$ on showers depending on how close I am to them. I would never spend anything on a stranger or Youtuber. It seems crazy to me that people actually do that. When I had my baby shower my closest family members offered to buy the big and expensive items and the rest bought the cheaper items or just bought clothes.

There is no way I would ask strangers to buy me anything to begin with but $40-$50?? Some of these people are probably spending their last few dollars to send her something in hopes she will notice them, she doesn't even write thank you letters anymore I don't believe. Imagine how much her vlogging is going to slack once she has a baby and is actually busy and tired constantly. Possibly. Rachelle doesn't have any fertility issues that I know of so they probably could have gotten pregnant much easier and cheaper by doing an IUI with donor sperm. I'm sure that wouldn't be Justin's first choice though. Most people want to have their own biological child if they can.
