I'm surprised Missy and Bryan didn't stop the whole commercial just to tell Ollie not to call them mom and dad.
Bryan looks pretty big in this ad (compared to now anyways) I think this was prefilmed.

It's a little bit late for Bryan to get on the Minecraft bandwagon. Has he noticed it hasn't been popular for about 2-3 years?

Re: BarelyDailyBoringVideos (Part 103)
Watching now. He had a panic attack over something Missy texted him. He said it was something "innocent about work or taxes" makes me wonder what the text was since he said the last time that he had a panic attack was when they had fires close to the house and were packing things up. As someone who has panic attacks i can understand that sometimes they just come for no apparent reason (hell i've been passed out cold asleep and woke up with one before) but the way he said it makes me thing something she said set him off.ladyju28 wrote:Ok so who watched the vlog?

Re: BarelyDailyBoringVideos (Part 103)
Honestly? It seemed like a half-assed attempt at vlog filler to appeal to their adult audience.
I’m not saying he doesn’t have panic attacks. He’s been pretty open about his anxiety on Twitter for months now.
But, if he was truly being “open”, he’d not only talk about HAVING the disorder, he’d talk about what he’s doing about it and advocate for others to seek help. Saying “EEEK! I have panic attacks!” is NOT the same as “Just like millions of people, I have a diagnosed mental illness. I’m under medical supervision, and I’m proud to say that I’m managing it with the help of a qualified therapist/medication/etc. If you’re struggling, know that it doesn’t have to control your life and that you’re not alone. Resources linked in the description.”
And it’d be an ongoing conversation. Not tons of personal details. That’s his business. But a simple “it’s been a bad brain day, took a few minutes to (helpful tip to manage stress)” would go a long way to making stuff like today feel more genuine and less like filler.
I definitely believe that he’s got this, and that he’s medicated and has had or is in therapy. He’s clearly used food/caffeine/alcohol(?) to self medicate in the past. The very fact that he’s seemingly got his weight under control indicates that he’s probably in treatment and no longer bingeing to trigger endorphin release.
I also find it interesting that he only opens up about this stuff when Missy is away. Whether it’s because he has more time to sit with his own thoughts, or he needed filler because he’s been leaning on her to do most of the vlogging, I don’t know. Just interesting.

Re: BarelyDailyBoringVideos (Part 103)
My guess is the panic was about money. Taking time off has meant a cut in revenue, but it hasn’t appeared to have changed their spending.
Maybe Missy texted to say she had covered the hotel bill and dinner for everyone? I bet the impression she does it a lot for attention.

Or he forgot to send Mimi and Papa their paycheque, or top up Kelsey and Corbin’s India fund, or didn’t personally oversee and exploit every tax loophole for every friend, acquaintance and loved one Missy every had in a timely manner.HelloSweetie wrote:My guess is the panic was about money. Bryan is over the top and obnoxious. But I’m not even remotely surprised he developed an anxiety disorder. That family made him need them, and made their acceptance contingent on him providing for them all. And it really doesn’t appear to have earned him affection or gratitude.
I can’t imagine living like that. Even just trying for a moment to put myself in his shoes turns my gut. Knowing that if I were to falter even a little, it would jeopardize the meager love-crumbs I’d managed to scrape together would send me into a panic attack too.
Not to say he’s absolved of responsibility. He’s a grown up and is choosing this. He could opt out and have a better life. I’m just too empathetic and can’t help but feel bad for him.

Re: BarelyDailyBoringVideos (Part 103)
I was thinking the same thing. I think they starting to see the money flow slow down quite a bit and now they're scrambling to replace income. It makes sense that a simple text or conversation could set off his anxiety if money/work stress is a trigger for him.HelloSweetie wrote:My guess is the panic was about money. I personally dealt with anxiety in early 2017 and at times the littest things related to the trigger of it could set it off.
I think Bryan in obnoxious in many ways, but I do feel bad for him in this case. Anxiety and panic attacks are horrible.

Bryan is not a narcissist. Not in a clinical sense, anyhow.MadeHD wrote:Boo Hoo the narcissist has panic attacks.
Nothing in the past 5 years indicates he has narcissistic personality disorder.
And being dismissive of mental illness based on someone’s personality flaws is gross.
You can not like him. You can think he’s obnoxious and self absorbed.
What you just said is EXACTLY the same as saying “Boo Hoo, the millionaire has cancer”.
It’s a mental illness. It’s shit like this that perpetuates the stigma around mental health. You don’t have to be a good person in order for your illness to be taken seriously. Mental illness severity isn’t merit based.

And THIS is why mental health problems are still so stigmatized. Unfortunately, anxiety doesn’t discriminate. I may not like Bryan or anything he stands for, but as someone who personally has an anxiety disorder I think it’s important to realize that mental health problems can happen to anyone.MadeHD wrote:Boo Hoo the narcissist has panic attacks.

Exactly this! I hate Bryan but we shouldn’t brush off his panic attacks and make it into a joke. This is serious. Mental health is serious.madi_b_123 wrote:And THIS is why mental health problems are still so stigmatized. Unfortunately, anxiety doesn’t discriminate. Excuse me if I don't believe every word that comes from his mouth. This is the same guy that lied about the horse ranch, the donations, changed his personality for views, lied about pre-recording vlogs, pretended to be stuck behind a car (but his sunglasses proved otherwise), posted a photo of himself in bed after he woke up surrounded by paramedics, and pimps his kids out daily...etc. etc. etc.
Those who truly have any medical issues I sympathize with but not those trying to pull content out of their ass to fund their music studio. The reality is his views got cut in half and now he is trying to reel people in through their emotions. Classic Narc... You can appear to be a great parent but still be a narc. - that's the part that is so damaging to kids. For that I sympathize with the kids! However you won't catch me buying shit that they have those kids hawking.
The-boy-who-cries-wolf-daily isn't getting the benefit of the doubt. Even with mental health issues. He has a track record for miles and lying about mental health is not beneath him. So save your holier than thou speeches for another time and place.

Re: BarelyDailyBoringVideos (Part 103)
Okay I know he’s a liar and stuff but him having anxiety attacks wouldn’t be that surprising based on his past trauma. I have anxiety and depression that stems from the divorce of my parents when I was 13 which is an already awkward and stressful time. I could see how y’all could be skeptical if it was someone that everyone knew didn’t have a lot of past trauma but even then it’s possible. Being dismissive of someone’s mental disorders or mental illness shows more about you than it does them. If they are being false in their mental illness or disorder than it will be revealed in time.

Re: BarelyDailyBoringVideos (Part 103)
He has been vocal about his anxiety issues before, for once i believe the guy. He seemed emotional when he was talking about it. either way saying you have no sympathy someone who you *think* is narcissistic, and who is having panic attacks doesn't come off as someone who takes mental health seriously. Just bc you *think* he doesn't have something doesn't make it true. Someone else said it better, this is exactly like saying "boohoo the millionaire has cancer" It's completely disregarding and making fun of people who suffer from anxiety and other mental health conditions.

Re: BarelyDailyBoringVideos (Part 103)
What a staged video, like honestly Missy doesn't even prep meals or organize anything for her kids, we all know Bryan has been holding down the fort from day 1 and Missy just does the drop offs since she can go out afterwards.....nice try!! The only good thing about Bryan watching the boys is that they look cleaner and they are clearly not wearing matching clothes all the time so that is a plus!! It's actually sad that Bryan has to mention these things and Missy can't even show him some love on Social Media but he always has her back.....she's so selfish, this forced "girls trip" is more like "girls month" - like get your priorities in check!
Re: BarelyDailyBoringVideos (Part 103)
We are all going to have to just agree to disagree. Now that Bryan knows what you want to see expect more "OMG Panic Attack at the O.G. with Trapped Toddler" videos. I could use another Olive Garden gnocchi vlog.
