Both kidney stones (which is what I was guessing she had originally) and ovarian cysts are excruciatingly painful while they are passing or rupturing. But once that is over, the pain literally disappears as fast as it started and you're completely back to normal. At least that's always been the way it's happened in my own personal experiences. And I've dealt with both a lot. I've never had a blood clot, but I was pretty sure the treatment plan included major R & R. I'm no doctor but I've never personally known anyone that was allowed to walk out of the hospital with a blood clot. Those can be life threatening. Usually they require surgery. How a doctor would say she could just go home and resume normal life is beyond me. So I think this whole thing was BS. No way she had a blood clot. Kidney stone, rupturing ovarian cyst, probably. But blood clot. Nope. Not buying it.

Sorry I haven't been around posting lately, I'm finding them super boring these days. Their material sucks or is just one big ad. I took a month off from watching then they took their own month off. Now that they only post a few times a week I probably only watch a third of what they post. And when I do watch, I fast forward through most of it. But I read here several times a day. Just haven't had anything I've really felt motivated to say because they just really bore the heck out of me. But missed you guys!

This is a bit of OT, but how typical it is that these American fertile doctors perform IVF with four or more eggs (Osborn quads) or IUI (Scott and Busby quints) with that many follicles? I know quints families got lucky, while Osborns didn't. When I had IVF and had four follicles only we talked about performing IUI instead, but in that case, said my doctor, they needed to empty and eliminate two of the follicles, because four possible babies would have been too much and too risky. I know you don't always see all the follicles in ultrasound, but I haven't ever heard any IUI quints or even quads in here. Also the doctors in here are not allowed to transfer more than two embryos at once to eliminate the risk of triples/quands/quints... it's much safer for the moms and babies.
