So that video was basically Vanessa, Vanessa, Vanessa, ripped jeans, look at my body, Vanessa, Vanessa, (last 15 seconds) Lily, oh yeah, and David. He didn't seem really enthusiastic about seeing Lily, just kind of hunched over awkwardly to hug her. Maybe he was annoyed that he was on camera. And V looked like shit. That's the outfit you wear when you're seeing your husband for the first time in several months?

David and V are pretty similar in personalities. He's just as awkward and different.

I just watched her friend Kassidee’s video from yesterday. I haven’t watched very many of her videos, but omg how is she friends with Vanessa? She acts like an adult, she talked about being frugal, being more concerned with getting x amount of money into their savings, doing home repairs, medical bills, insurance deductibles, and being a sub and possibly a teacher at her kids school later on. She said she wasn’t worried about material things and being frugal doesn’t mean you’re poor...no it means you’re smart. She spent $60+ on clothes for herself and said it was hard for her to spend that much money on herself. How can she tolerates Vanessa? If V wants to copy someone, she needs to be copying this girl.

I’m surprised Kc stayed there for the surprise for Lily . I’m a fan of Kc but it’s such an intimate family moment and she was just awkwardly sitting there watching which is probably why maybe David had not reacted as he may have if it was just the family . Who knows maybe V insisted she stay . Not a huge deal but if I were kc I would have just gone upstairs for a bit

The video made me cry but then again I’m definitely a sucker for these kind of reunion videos.

Lastly these YouTube moms need the grt some originality in their fashion sense. It’s like they’re all still in high school all wearing the same outfits as part of their clique . Those oversized urban outfitters shirts and ripped jeans I have seen at least 6 YouTube moms wear this month

She’s probably going to put it on her credit card so she can pretend she’s spoiling him for once. And man, does she baby everyone? Asking him if the shoes are too tight/too loose.

Where’s Charlie? Shouldn’t David be spending the time lily is at school with Charlie since you know, they don’t know each other? Back to their old ways of leaving the kids so they can “run errands”.

Blackswan, I'm the same way. Stay at home mom and it feels weird to buy gifts for my husband with his money even though he tells me all the time it's our money, blah blah blah.

Unlike Vanessa, most of us here have worked at one point in our lives and we know the value of a dollar, how hard you have to work to support a family, etc etc.

What I do is buy something that I know he would eventually buy for himself and something that he uses and needs. For example, I replace his cologne every Christmas lol.

But oh my god, I would be so embarrassed if I took my husband to old navy and acted like I was doing some amazing favor by buying him clothes with his money. And she thinks THAT is what makes her a "good" wife. The second hand embarrassment is so bad. Cringe.

I would love to know what David's family really thinks about her.

In confused, why do you think the kids aren't seeing David? I would imagine they are all together, KC is probably just holding Charlie... David obviously needs clothes, I'm assuming he won't be visiting long so needs to get the errands taken care of right away. Sadly, it's not all fun and family times when a spouse is home from the military (that would be nice though, I'm sure).

She picked him up after midnight. Not exactly the whole day.
If it were my husband that was deployed and I picked him up after midnight I’d likely let him wake the kids up or at least snuggle them in bed when he got home. Not wait until the next morning.
Vanessa does whatever she thinks will make a good video, although majority of the time she fails miserably.

It was definitely adorable the way Lily’s eyes light up with David, she adores him and it’s plain obvious. I like how he kneels down to her level to talk to her, that’s so important to do with kids, and overall he seems to genuinenly love her. It makes me so happy fo Lily, I don’t give a shit about Vanessa or Charlie. Oh but she needs to invest in good hair extensions!!! Stop all the dumb Rae Dunn shit and get yourself some much needed good hair V!

It's so weird! When I worked in the beginning of our relationship I bought him things all the time but now that I don't it feels wrong. Whenever I acquire money on my own one way or another I make sure to get him something though lol
