I was freaking out watching them that close to the edge. I wanted to grab both the boys by the arm and pull them back so many times in this vlog.
Personal, but relevant... our family has a lake house, I grew up there, my kids have grown up there.. the set up at the water edge is almost identical, concrete retaining wall that is like a nice wide sidewalk by the water. Until I was probably 10 or older I was NEVER allowed down on that walkway without a life jacket. And common sense was also enforced, no running, no horseplay, don’t walk close to the edge, don’t get between someone else and the edge. I made my kids wear life jackets while they were fishing there as well, up until they were big enough that I knew they could touch if something did happen. And the same rules were drillled into their heads too. If you act a fool you go back up to the house, zero exceptions. Missy, her mom and her dad are STUPID for letting those kids that close to that water without life jackets. I don’t give a damn how well Ollie can swim, see all those rocks? Guess what? There are more you CANT SEE. Unconscious children don’t swim so well...
But I guess TODDLER FALLS IN LAKE!! DID POPPA SAVE HIM?? Makes a great blog title....
