I've never had the luxury of brand new sod. I had no idea you can't walk on it until the roots are established -- anywhere from two weeks to two months. And those beautiful flowering trees. My heart breaks for those beauties. They must have paid a ton of money for trees that large. Bet they don't make it until June, either. Looks like the net will never be installed around the tramp and Ashley Poppins also is too ignorant to know that only one child at a time should be allowed on the tramp -- once it has a safety net installed. Wouldn't it be too funny if FattAss hurt his ankle on the tramp? hahahaha[/quote
Or maybe he fell walking on his new sod that was installed LAST WEEK! Karma, dumb ass Bison! Any of you with landscaping knowledge wanna share how much money they dropped on their latest monetary black hole? Those KADS have to see through them. Shaking my head.

For what it's worth, here's my guess on what they have spent on landscaping:
Sod including prepping, soil, delivery and installation $3000.00 to $5500.00 - depending on the grade and the square footage of their yard. To me, it seems on the larger size - at least 3000 sq Ft front and back combined? Did they put in an irrigation system? I'm too lazy to go back and look, but if they did, that's prolly between $1300.00 to $2,000.00. Then add in trees, again too lazy to go look at what they got but average $125.00 to $275.00 for mid size times however many they bought. The grading of their yard, excavating for the trampoline etc would all have cost as well, so just sod, irrigation and trees has to be close to $10,000, they'll be at $20,000 by the time it's done. And when I say done, I mean ready for their neglect and inevitable destruction to commence. I have spent the past week working on a small by comparison, 10x12 outdoor sensory play space for one of my foster babes who is in need of some extras, and even with doing almost all the labour ourselves (yeah, just cannot imagine laying on my ass on the couch, puckering up my lips and filming my hired hands working while my kids play peek a boo out the window with them but WHATEVER) it is costing a small fortune in supplies alone. Rubber mulch, $400 to cover 120 sq ft, $550.00 for a block retaining wall, $100.00 for sand to level, yard after yard of gravel for drainage and on and on it goes. By the time we put in a sandbox, outdoor play kitchen, water wall etc, it will easily be $2000.00 - landscaping is not cheap, at all. It actually makes me physically ill, watching their conspicuous consumption of absolutely everything they can get their hands on. All those things that the rest of us work hard for, not just to pay for it, but work hard at making it happen, just landing in their laps to be used and shit on like disposable diapers. Ugh, makes me so angry but then again, quite frankly, I prefer to WORK for my stuff and let those that have less be blessed instead. Pretty sure that's how it's supposed to work, but what do I know.
Trashley, after you read this, if you want my plans for our play space, message me. It would be perfect for your girls, they're highly beneficial for children who are delayed in fine and/or gross motor skills, social and emotional development and/or children like yours, the ones who haven't had the opportunity to play in a safe environment where their creativity and imaginations are stimulated. Google it, then tell me if you love it?!?!?! I'll wait.
