Shes an idiot and can’t even handle the one kid with MD. I wish someone in her family would have said you’re an idiot for getting pregnant again. But someone correct me if I’m wrong isn’t that sort of why the family distance or eans mom was mad?..

My MIL is horrible and has said don’t have another kid cause my son has autism, diff is autism isn’t terminal and well it’s not like I’m a carrier. I wish someone was an ass to her like my MIL. Haha

Autism does run in families. You have a higher risk of having another after you have one... Younger siblings are "high risk". This coming from another mama to a child on the spectrum. If I was going to have more I personally would adopt ir embryo adoption but of course that's just me.[/quote]

I totally understand that. I’m not going to tell others how to life their life, especially as I’m not the one having to live with someone else’s decision. But I will say: I feel like people forget that they aren’t the ones that are going to have to live with it, the child is, and although it’s not terminal, it still affects quality of life. Like when people have a child with Down’s syndrome, I don’t doubt that they love their child, but if they were told your next child has a high chance of having it, I would at least like them to take a beat and really think about what it means (for the child) and not “I’ll love them no matter what” because honestly that saying should be reserved for when a child tells their parent they’re gay. (If that makes sense)

I hope i worded things correctly and didn’t offend anyone, I’m also not trying to tell people how to live their life.

Yes absolutely and don't forget, it impacts the "typical" siblings as well. I have to put much more time into my Autistic child, be it redirecting behaviors or taking to therapies etc. I don't think it would he fair to add another special needs child to the family, knowing it would throw the balance off even more. It's akin to people having tons of kids and expecting the oldest to help raise the youngest (looking at you, gatherednest/Angela).

Yeah I made @shadybritneyandbaby last night but my posts weren’t showing up.
It works now, but I changed the username and took out “andbaby” to change it to: shadybritneyyt
I didn’t want it to sound too much like britneyandbaby so it wouldn’t get deleted.
