So, yes... * Technically speaking * they have two sets of identical twins... I mean who can forget that "miracle" when they remind you of it 5 million times a year? But also * technically speaking *, twins are defined as two babies born at the same time. They don't have to be identical to be twins... So * technically speaking * they did NOT have twins, even if the two eggs split. They had FOUR babies born at the same time. I have a friend who had triplets. One boy and two girls. The girls were identical because their egg split (also IVF). But no one, not even doctors, has ever referred to them as identical twins. Just that they are identical. And triplets. They had IVF. That's not uncommon, even if they want people to think it is. But tubby, you didn't have twins.

Quality time is sitting on his fat a$$ with the girls in front of the TV? Maybe playing outside on the “tramp” (disgusting term) or if it was raining perhaps he could have assisted them with coloring or using their clay? Quality time in our home doesn’t involve the tv.

As the old adage goes, you catch more bees with honey... So let's pretend, for the sake of an argument, that this family would be receptive to anything you say. But only if you present it in a kind way and not in a manner that could be considered confrontational. What would you say to them?

Put the girls in daycare.
It will give the girls: a break from their parents, a break from being filmed, they will get a routine, learn manners, sharing, colours & shapes. They will get fed healthy food.
The parents will get: a break from the girl's (their daily goal).

You are a great moderator, Snarkadoodle Doo. You are 100% correct that you catch more flies with honey. I need to check myself from time to time and be more constructive in my comments instead of getting caught up in the negativity and unkind comments.

I do feel like the KADS and/or GREEDners view this forum. It’s obvious by responses they make in their various social media outlets. Sadly, I do not feel confident that any of them would be receptive to suggestions. Their behaviors lead one to believe that they are too self-absorbed with materialism and notoriety than being able to have the ability to step back and take an honest view of their lives and more importantly, the effect said behaviors are having on their girls.

If they could put their cameras away for 6 months and live a “normal” life I believe their daughters’ behaviors would improve. It’s hard to fathom as an adult the concept of having a camera in your face, capturing every move 24/7. I cannot imagine what goes through the minds of those little girls.

It seems as if at least some of the girls have some delays, as well as physical needs that are not being addressed. An extensive assessment by early childhood development specialists would be greatly beneficial for the overall well being and development of the girls. In particular eye exams. The constant “baby talk” to the girls by the parents does not seem like an effective method to increase their vocabulary. I could go on ad nauseam about the developmental and sensory issues. It truly makes me sad to see their needs being overlooked.

3.5 year olds should not be in cribs with a net that is pinned shut. Safety issues are first and foremost. Not to mention if the parents desire for the girls to be fully potty trained the girls need to be able to get up during the night to go to the restroom.

It is very disheartening to see that they “need” a nanny when neither parent is employed outside of the home. The parents appear to be physically and mentally able to care for their children. Perhaps if they made better use of their time and had a set schedule each day (to attend to their home based businesses) they could more effectively co-parent, i.e., one parent spends time with the children doing educational activities, supervising outside play time, preparing healthy meals and snacks, while the other parent works.

Whether intentional or not they do give the impression that their family is being supported by their amazing little girls. The parents appear to want everything NOW instead of putting their girls first. The thousands of dollars spent on landscaping seems irresponsible when they still have not made safe and age appropriate provisions for their daughters’ bedrooms. Perhaps savings accounts or college funds (if the girls decide on College) would be a more responsible investment. Time ticks quickly. They will blink their eyes and the littles will be grown. How sad to think of having regrets.

Finally, and perhaps most importantly, (especially if you choose to document your life on social media) be 100% HONEST AND TRANSPARENT. It’s hurtful and disrespectful to your followers who genuinely care about you and your children to see you twist stories and then go back to try to cover up and rectify untruths.

But this topic has been on my mind a lot lately as I read more and more on the various threads I moderate and how they each believe that the families are reading here. Your post just reminded me of that thought. My question is actually more relevant in another thread, but I really couldn't help wondering what we could come up with as a group for this family after reading your post, which was good btw.

KADs and the Gardners are always so quick to say we are haters. Really we know we say things out of concern and from our own life experiences. So I can't help but wonder if their opinion of what we say would be different if we presented our concerns another way. I'm not suggesting we change how we speak here at all... I'd never do that. I love venting my aggravation and frustration as much as the next guy, lol. I was just curious what you all would say and how you would answer just one question. To be honest, I have no idea how I would answer that myself but I am thinking about it and will post it when I come up with something.
