Love the idea of a snarkaversary.

Depressing to realise that the girls are more neglected than they were though.

One more.

What is with the bird’s nests Dumb puts on her cats every Sunday? If they aren’t careful, the eggs are going to hatch right there on the porch.

They will never listen to constructive criticism.

All I have ever wanted is for them to get those girls assessed. Fully assessed. Not a dr checkup. OT assessments, speech assessments, developmental pediatrician. And then follow up the recommendations.

Here in France , we call them Spirrea, I had just one of them in a garden just as big as theirs, makes it more spectacular in Autumn, when the leaves become red. They have too much of them here, such an upstart couple...

They have planted very close to the fence/property line but it looks like the neighbors have as well. It's strange that they have that shared flower bed.
Here in France , you don't have the right to plant less than 2 meters from the fence. In this case, the neighbour has every right to cut down everything too near the fence...

We all know they read here but man my heart would be so happy if they were receptive to any even remotely small pieces of advice. However, we know they won’t listen given last years temper tantrum from Ass that was recently reposted where she says they’ll only listen to their parent’s advice. Although her temper tantrum came shortly after Tyler asked their cult for advice on stuff. Lol

Anywho, if I could give them advice it would have to be......

1. Learn the damn meaning of the word humble, you two are farm from it. It’s not humbling that your kids like the music you play, it’s not like they get a choice to listen to kids songs. I can’t tell you how many times I would take my daughter to daycare listening to kids music and then get to work realizing I was just singing along to itsy bitsy spider after I dropped her off. Because at 3 the music in my car was kid friendly if my kid was with me.

2. Please help Esme with her sensory issues. She’s clearly bothered by wind. We can all see it, and it’s geartbreaking not funny. I have a child with sensory issues which I’ll admit can get annoying, but I’d do anything in the world to fix them. She’s been in thereapt for them, and her other needs, it’s exhausting but I’m doing all I can to make her life the best we can given the circumstances.

3. Make a freaking safe place for your kids to play in the house. You prioritized the aesthetics of the house over your children oh having a place to play. All we heard was you guys needed to build a “custom” home because no regular houses met the needs of your family. Yet you build this large home without a single thought of your children.

4. Let your girls live a life without cameras constantly in their faces. They’re growing up in a fishbowl where the whole world is getting to know too much about them. Don’t make them “perform” because they’re kids not child actors.

Sorry guys up in the middle of the night and can’t sleep.

Where I live has strict rules about how far off of the property line you have to be with plants/trees/etc, even a fence has to be 3 feet off of the property line. It’s respecting your neighbor’s space.

I was recently read a blog from The Bucketlist Family where they were talking about how they fund their trips. For those who don’t know of them, the father sold a company he started in college to Snapchat for 54 million. (Not sure his cut of things since he had friends involved in the company). He and his wife decided to sell all of their personal belongings and travel the world with their small children.

In their blog they talked about how much money they made from selling stuff and how they only used that money to fund their travels. They didn’t want to dip into their savings from the sale of their company. They said a couple times how important it was to not touch the savings because they’ve seen where as fast as it comes in, it can go out.

Now they travel the world with their 3 small children and earn a living through sharing their social media and sponsorships. I don’t follow them religiously, and I’m not sure if they have a page here, but they seem to do a lot of charity work and good with the luck they’ve been given.

Just a stark contrast to the Greedners. I’d love to send them the blog and tell them to not only read about saving and not spending frivolously, but also to see two parents giving their children tons of opportunities. I’m sure the Greedners have heard of them as this is another Utah family, but doubt they’d take any of their advice.

Again, sorry I’m rambling. Woke up in the middle of the night and now I’m bored debating if it’s worth trying to sleep for an hour before the alarm goes off. Man I’ll be dragging at work tomorrow.

He failed to mention the high price of using his daughters to support their family. He seriously needs to get out of the house and get a real J.O.B.

Quality time is sitting on his fat a$$ with the girls in front of the TV? Maybe playing outside on the “tramp” (disgusting term) or if it was raining perhaps he could have assisted them with coloring or using their clay? Quality time in our home doesn’t involve the tv.

Good point on the playroom. All those rooms and nothing for the girls. Same as the bedrooms. People would go nuts for bedroom tours of the girl's rooms. They would get so many views. And I think even us 'haters' wouldn't begrudge that money. I'm sure we would still judge their taste though ;) But they could make their rooms just magical. Something that would see them through for a few years at this point seeing they are nearly 3.5, they could get some mileage out of whatever they do.

Best part of the Instastory was when A$$wit asked Leah if she was having a good birthday (or something to that effect). Leah didn’t respond or even look at A$$wit! Those little people are pretty darn receptive!

Snarkadoodle Doo wrote: So this is an interesting post. It makes me think of a question to pose to you all. I may ask it on some of the other threads I mod too, so sorry in advance if you are in more than one of those groups, you might see this question again lol....

So... If you knew for 100% fact that this family was reading here (and they were doing so with an open mind) and you could give them one piece of constructive criticism or advice, what would you say? As the old adage goes, you catch more bees with honey... So let's pretend, for the sake of an argument, that this family would be receptive to anything you say. But only if you present it in a kind way and not in a manner that could be considered confrontational. What would you say to them?
It is very hard to choose one thing, but if we each choose one, we'll probably cover all the bases. I would suggest talking to the children softly, one on one, with the kind of respect you show an adult. Real questions, waiting for real answers. No comments about their appearance. Treat them as individuals (no matching outfits unless occasionally the girls request it). With this kind of respect and one-to-one attention the girls would thrive.

Me too! How do we celebrate this virtually? Let's plan something fun! Also, I think it should be a multi day celebration, since it took us all a few days to get here. And FYI, it's not just for us "other site rejects"... It's a day of celebration for of all in our lovely snarking sisterhood!

You're so right... They don't care what anyone has to say, but it's fun for me to pretend even for a minute that it might make a difference, lol... Sadly you are also right about all the assessments. I can only hope in my heart that someday a teacher will be keen enough to realize it too and strong enough to not back down when Tyson tries to attack her for making the suggestion. I know we've always thought that they'd try to figure out the homeschool thing. But the more I see them copy the Binghams, the more I think they'll probably end up at the same preschool as Hazy next fall (where Brex goes) and then at the charter school eventually, where the older boys are. Maybe, just maybe, someday someone can get through to them. Maybe by then the girls will be old enough and talking enough, that they just won't be able to deny it anymore. One can dream (and pray), right? :)

I'm about a page behind right now, so I'm guessing I'll flip to the next page and someone will have said this already, but if not... Didn't Ashley share these guys once and say that she grew up with the dad? That the families were friends when they were kids? Too bad they aren't better friends now. Maybe THEY could teach Tyson how to properly use humble in a sentence!

Was I the only one shocked that Leah's birthday party was Peppa Pig themed, and not Peanuts/Snoopy themed? I swear I've almost never seen the Ravellis on camera where at least one of them isn't wearing something Peanuts related or where someone doesn't remind us that Stephanie's grandfather was Charles Schulz.
