I can understand both sides but the neighbors should live in an HOA if they want to dictate what people do with their land, and yard. I purposely bought a house in an HOA just because I didn’t want to see anyone’s mess. If I had bought a home in a “free area” there isn’t anything I could do about other people’s mess.

If it’s not breaking codes, then they can keep it as they wish.

They can but I believe they have to have a majority vote to fully instate an hoa

Wow, considering they own many acres it's really sad about the neighbors. I don't know why the neighbors would be so surprised about the machinery/vehicles. It's no shock that people who own a lot of land probably have a lot of vehicles/parts/etc that they like to tinker with. If you wanted a pretty picture than move to an HOA. My parents own a vacation cabin on a lot of land and their neighbors up there are the worst. Everyone is in everyones business and starting trouble for no reason. It's like they have nothing else to do. And then on the flip side, their primary residence is in a very fancy HOA neighborhood and no one talks to each other or gets in anyones business. Kind of funny comparison.

I’m glad they have done well for themselves. It’s refreshing to see instead of these teen moms who are faking the funk and broke as hell. (Or stealing campaign money)

I don't begrudge her the money. I am just surprised she's laying out that much all at once. Usually she seems more conservative with her money.

Yeah, i did think it was out of character for her to mention the money maybe not so much that they spent that much at once. They seem to buy huge purchases, but then are moderate the rest of the time.

She is going to be buying a house soon.
Maybe building would be better for them. They are a large family and I can see her with 2 or 3 more kids.
I wonder if she'll sell the house shes in or rent it out like the other?

I’m really glad I found her thread here! I really like her! I’m 23, unmarried, and childless, but there’s something about her that makes me continue to watch her 20 plus minute videos. Her cooking videos are fascinating even though I’m not sure I would make any of her recipes myself. I haven’t watched her latest few videos so I was shocked to read that they’re looking to move again. I live in an apartment complex, so I’m used to dealing with crappy neighbors, but I can’t imagine how annoying it must be to deal with neighbors like that when you actually own your property.

Lol! Also 23, childless, and unmarried...I find her videos super interesting as well! No idea why. The freezer days are my favs. I still feel bad about the neighbor situation. They’re trying to go about it so nicely. I probably would be like F you all and build whatever I wanted. I think it’s sad they haven’t been able to make a family room space they wanted because they have been held back from building. They legitimately only have that futon off the kitchen. I think it’s sad to feel like you’re being driven out of your home but at this point I hope they move to some nice big house where they can find some peace.

Yes. I couldn’t imagine feeding my family that stuff. She complains about her weight but consumes way over the recommended servings of dairy. So much sodium. Processed food. You cannot out exercise a bad diet.
