wow Drake looks like he’s going to a 90s prom, and his step dad looks like he was heading to the store but then remembered that Drake was going to get married.

I don't think they had to re-do a wedding. IIRC in Cali you have to wait 6 months after your wedding to file for divorce and since it was too early they were married just separated. they got back together/cancelled the divorce request so they stayed married. Someone correct me if i'm wrong

If she went 17 hrs with no food for not trying a new food is child abuse. If it wad me I personally would let my SIL have it. That's is horrible

I'm sorry but that's not child abuse. I was raised the same way and will do the same thing with my children. I doubt she didn't get anything inbetween but even if she didn't, that's fine. She had food she could eat, if she only tried one bite of the sandwich she could eat something completely different. That's how you make sure you're kids aren't picky eaters. We always needed to try the amount of bites according to our age. So if we were 3 years old, 3 bites. Me and my siblings will try anything now, because how stupid does it look to go on a business dinner or dinner with your in-laws and have to say you will not try the food they made.

So would you force your best friend to try 20+ bites of a meal you made if she said she didn’t like it?

Kids tastes naturally expand. As long as they’re being fed a range of healthy foods, (and not nuggets every night) then of course they’re going to have their favourites. Even adults do. Kids become willing to try new foods in a supportive environment. Force feeding them to eat foods they hate just creates eating disorders in future.

If they don’t want to eat their dinner, then they don’t get anything else. But that’s a choice they get to make. However they should still get a normal breakfast the next morning. Not feeding a child for 17 hours because they wouldn’t eat what the parent demanded is disgusting. I don’t get parents who play these mind games with their kids. They wouldn’t force feed other adults they loved and respected, so why their kids?

Their divorce was finalised, and they did get re-married. There’s screenshots around here somewhere.

I'm sorry but I don't need to raise my friends, of course they don't need to try it if they don't want it.
I forgot in fact to say that it depended on the situation and that we indeed didn't get anything else for the night. But we would get a normal breakfast, but I meant to say no treats or anything. My grandparents however did raise my mom like that, they had to try it and if they didn't they would get it as breakfast.
I don't wanna argue about this anymore because honestly I don't think it will lead to eating disorders and I've seen first hand kids that didn't need to try foods that are now in their twenties and still only eat certain foods and it looks ridiculous!

Nice wedding attire,pops! LOL
I'm glad Jess still considers Drake's side to be family. They seem like nice ppl.
I'm guessing there must be problems with Chris's side, else Jess would no doubt cram them in the vlog,or at least mention them

They filed for divorce, IIRC the divorce is automatically finalized after 6 months. They went to Vegas around Jess' birthday and got married, screenshots of a marriage license were around here somewhere.

When they got back, they had a little party and claimed to have renewed their vows.

I wish I had been a member when Jess met Chris. I feel so behind on their whole relationship.

- Nobody understands Kaden. He needs subtitles all the time. Jess, do something already!
- Landen is a cute kid but OMG is he whiny! He only has two facial expressions: smiling (adorable) or that pout he always makes.
- I am actually glad and surprised that they this trip. It's great that the boys could spend some time with family.

agreed! Thank you!
I liked eggs as a kid (when my family made them) but my babysitter made egg salad sandwiches, and when I refused to eat it, I had to sit at the table for 4 hours, crying the entire time because I didn’t want to eat it. I begged to just go hungry but nope.
Can’t stand eggs now in any way, shape or form.

People take it too far just to prove that they’re the best parent around but in reality, they sound negligent and snooty.
It’s great that OP’a sister starved her kid for 17 hours but that doesn’t mean it’s the right thing to do. Just don’t give them snacks until the next meal Image

I asked my SIL and wasn’t able to update bc Tapatalk was down, assuming it’s bc of the Brit thread. Anyway, she had dry Cheerios when they got home before bed. When she woke up for breakfast she was allowed Cheerios with milk and an apple. After she ate the bite of meat she asked for the rest of her sandwich, which her Mom already ate. She was not starved for 17 hours she was allowed Cheerios and an Apple.

I bet Jess is jealous that Britney is (selfishly) having another baby. No doubt her baby fever will push Addie into staying a baby for even longer than necessary.

Also, didn’t mean to stir up arguments when I asked about picky eaters...

This was from their 2nd wedding. It's in the screenshot thread along with their divorce records and marriage certificates.

It’s been years why all of a sudden are they visiting Drakes family and I think Chris is pretty stupid to basically cut off his relationship with his mother just because he doesn’t like her new husband. His dad is dead and when his mother dies one day he will regret all the time he missed with her.

Kudos for the shots on the jetsky (sp?), they were awesome.

It's so odd, that she says she gets along with the grandparents of her boys, but not (really) Drake. The twins so didn't care at the end, when they were leaving, I had a feeling X)
