I didn’t say anything when they put my son on my chest. I was in complete shock and just relieved he was finally here. Every mother is different, I guess.

When they put my son on my chest I was just so relieved after pushing for 2 hours and feeling everything and being dehydrated and not being able to eat or drink for over 20 hours I was just done. I was still happy that he was born perfectly healthy but I just wanted food and water and I wanted to just be left alone with my baby. Also, I didn’t bond with him the entire time he was in my belly. I never talked to him. I felt weird. The second he came out I didn’t know what to say. I kissed him a ton and I held him so tight and now we have the best bond. Better than him and dad. So that isn’t any indication of her being a bad mom at all. That was a life changing moment for her and sometimes being silent is the perfect reaction. Like I said before, I could feel her happiness and contentment she finally has what she’s always wanted. She deserves it. Even though she is annoying, I’m happy for her and Justin. Bringing a baby into the world is so surreal and there’s nothing like it.

In her defense, that's the prettiest she's looked in a long time.

If the caption is "still can't believe she's ours" wouldn't it make sense for the baby to be in the picture somewhere along with Rachelle's mug? Image

Did anyone notice that after Emma had her bath, they put her back in the same stinky dirty blanket and hat? What was the point of a bath then? Just thought that was kind of gross.

IMHO she did a pretty good job of getting that chunky princess pushed out. My babies weighed just over 6lbs and that was big enough for me! I think her sobs were understandable. She's been thru a lot. Crying for joy, for loss, would all be normal.
In my 63 years I've noticed that there are trends with baby raising just like in anything else. My youngest son (age 41) and his wife delivered their first baby and our third 3rd grandson in June. I'm keeping my mouth shut. They have more ideas than a dog has fleas. Currently its sleep training.Sleep training??? What happened to feeding, changing, bathing, loving and placing them in bed? Pat their sweet little bottom and say you love them...then out you go. And yes it will probably take baby a few days even weeks to get settled down and establish a pattern. It can be hard for new parents to know what to do and end up compounding their problems. I hope Rachelle has a Lactation Consultant to help get thru these early days of nursing. All that being said...I'm happy their little girl has arrived safe and sound; additionally, please take that ugly top knot hat off Emma's head and find a prettier blanket. She looks like she's going to a funeral.

No. I’m going to defend Rachelle on this one. As a loss mom, you gain such an appreciation for all the details, good and bad. And I’d make sure you never tell a loss parent their first child “failed”. All parents, including loss parents compare their experiences with each child’s pregnancy/delivery.

My two cents worth:
Boy that baby had a lot of vernix on it showing it was undercooked, but boy oh boy imagine how huge she would have been if she was on her due date!!!

That top knot hat is the ugliest thing ever.

Washing a newborn within 24 hours? Maybe this is normal in the US? Where I'm from you leave them as long as possible. My first baby had his first bath at a week old. That is normal here and not usually done in the hospital.

I'm seriously impressed they have already had the newborn photoshoot done. That is so organised!

And finally, trying to keep baby awake to sleep better, and putting her in the swing already? She is only a few days old! I agree with the others here. All that baby needs is eat, change, sleep, and lots of snuggles. I hope she works it out and just lets a newborn do what a newborn does. I was so tempted to say something and then I thought what is the point, she probably won't listen anyways.

YESSS. I said that to myself lol. I don’t understand the point of a delayed bath. It may be good for the skin but it won’t stop your baby from getting normal baby acne or rashes later on in life I’m sure. Just wash the dang baby once it comes out. Also, all the clothes and she couldn’t pack a new outfit for each day she would be there once she was born? I don’t think that it’s too lavish to do. I’m not trying to be mean but yeah that was gross.

Delayed baths are actually very beneficial to newborns. That precious vernix needs to soak in to the skin. Babies are not born “dirty.”

$400 for a newborn shoot?!? Is that normal? Here you’d get pregnancy shoot x2-3 plus newborn plus 1mth for that price!

I find it odd that shes so stingey on some stuff and so extra on others. That print they diy’d (and butched) for the nursery that they saved what $20? doing it themselves, the $100 fake plant/tree, but $400 for newborn photos - that to be fair as a photographer herself shouldn’t she be able to take them/some herself?!

Lets be honest, if they hadn’t lost Brynn they’d still be youtube nobodies- dont know about you but i only found them due to her putting away the nursery vlog. So if that hadn’t have happened they’d be struggling financially without youtubes paychecks.

It didn´t touched my heart at all. First of all seeing him so close to the camera made me feel uncomfortable. I can´t look at him for a long time and I don´t know why.

I couldn´t even see a difficult birth like the one of Kelsey Escoriaza where I thought wtf poor girl.

They showed her pushing two times while you only saw his back and that´s it. All I could hear was his disturbing loud counting. Not even the music touched me.

I also skipped to the end and expected a finally touching moment of her name, weight, and a Welcome to the world, baby girl. But no. I finally unsubscribed. I dont wanna say I wasted 21 minutes of my life, but 17.
Bloody hell kelseys is horrific!!! She did seem bloody dramatic though Image best watched with headphones on low - it has the “is it porn or labour” vibes with all the noises

love one born every minute etc but cant stand the yelling, screaming, shouting mums - it doesn’t accomplish anything other than a bloody great racket, that poor baby is gonna climb back up there!
