THIS! She was driving me crazy with the constant belly scratching and petting! Your baby is not a pet, Rachelle!!!
I wanted to smack her hand away. Emma was clearly not liking it one bit! If your baby is asleep leave it the fuck alone! She will seriously regret not resting more when emma is sleeping. I know the whole “sleep when baby sleeps” advice is OLD school, but it seriously is the only thing that got me through the long nights awake. If your baby sleeps well during the day eat, shower and have a nap too! Nothing else matters for the first few weeks.

Agree with whoever said she only wanted a baby for the photoshoots - nothing is truer!

I’m surprised shes not expressing already so Justin can feed Emma too. I can imagine her making a song and dance about feeding at night. For the first week of my sons life hubby got up to help because we were tube feeding him due to a severe tongue tie. Which meant i had to express as well. After we had that sorted I was the only one who got up, we kept the house dark (one tiny lamp on), changed then fed baby and back to bed. During the day all curtains pulled open, loads of light, baby in bed in its own room not living space and it worked well.

Sleep is gone for a long time Rachelle. You wanted a baby and this is part of it. There is no way around it as much as you try. Parenting only gets harder. Newborns are the easiest phase.

That poor baby, being constantly poked, prodded an tapped. Does Rachelle not realize that all newborns do is sleep and eat? She was going on about how tired Emma was that day because all she did was sleep and eat. What does she expect her to do??? I’m wondering how badly Emma really has day and nights mixed up or if it just feels that way to Rachelle.

It bugs me when they say 'Emma is so cuteeee' the same way they say their pets are cute.

Rachelle is such an idiot for keeping her newborn NAKED after a bath. My 19 month old still shivers and is cold after his baths and he can regulate his body temperature. And what happened to buying a ton of stuff before Emma is born so they don’t have to have any outings? I like Rachelle during her pregnancy vlogs but omg this is too much

I don’t get the huge deal about keeping Emma away from ‘germs’. Once I was home I took both my babies out the next day for a walk in the pram. Good to get fresh air. With my first we went home from the hospital via a baby shop to grab some breastfeeding supplies! She also went swimming at 4 weeks. Fit and healthy 3yo now. And I’m more cautious than most with having an autoimmune disease.

I thought she was pretty snappy with her mother too about the Instagram picture. Her mum was being lovely and complimenting and Rachelle was snotty and short with her about it.

I don’t know that she talks about Emma the way they talk about their pets necessarily. When she lost Brynn, Beau was her emotional support and was like her child. I think she just talks about both of them like they’re her children.

That rubbing Emma on the stomach like a dog drives me up a wall. She’s not a dog. She’s a baby. Who probably hates when you do that.

As long as strangers aren’t touching her she is fine. Gosh 2 days after my sister was born my mom was at the grocery store with a 8 and 5 year old with a two day old. You can’t stay a hermit you just need to be safe. Which they did.

The amount of time she spends bitching and morning about how Emma keeps her awake at night is starting to really get to me. Personal but I’d kill to have a newborn waking me up at night. We’ve been trying to conceive for almost 5 damn years. She needs to shut the hell up and enjoy what she has. She should know how newborns are!

Instead of buying a pacifier clip, she buys pacifier wipes.

Acting like she didn’t know what picture her mom was talking about.

And if she scratches Emma one. more. time!

They really need to take that cover off the car seat. It's summer and HOT, especially where they are located. That cover is dark and absorbs heat, it also traps heat in. Number one thing my son's pediatrician told us was to not cover baby up during the summer like that. It basically makes it an oven in there. She'd rather her baby get heat stroke than be exposed to you know, fresh air...

I honestly can’t stand them. There is something about them that drives me up the wall. I saw a woman comment on their new vlog in the nicest most caring way asking Rachelle to dress Emma so that she doesn’t get cold and her “fans” attacked this poor woman and in the end Rachelle deleted it because she probably thought the woman was being a bitch. It’s not rocket science. That damn baby needs to have something on other than just a diaper. I don’t care if they live in California. The baby used to being inside the womb which is over 96 degrees. Having a fan blowing on her while she is just in a diaper is absolutely ridiculous. People comment “oh well my baby was a summer baby and sweat so much!” Nobody is telling her to dress Emma in a parka. A onesie is just fine. Also why the hell are they all shaking that baby all around!? You can see poor Emma’s head flying all over the place. My opinion Rachelle is going to feed that poor child less than normal so that she doesn’t have a chunky baby. You can tell she is terrified to have a baby that has a few extra lbs. my god shut the hell up about a sleep schedule. Emma isn’t even a week old yet. I don’t think her an Justin should have had a baby. They are too young and their marriage isn’t as strong as they think it is. They like the idea of being parents but I don’t think they are ready. She even said when they were pregnant with Brynn that she was one of the only things that saved their marriage from disaster. I give them maybe a year or two before they divorce.

I noticed in Kk’s video of their baby going home she had a sleeper on him with long sleeves and feet. I bet Orlando is hotter then where Rachelle lives. Plus the AC is probably on all the time.

She is actually right here. As first time parents you don’t need to hear all the unsolicited opinions unless that baby is in danger. It’s hard enough being a first time parent and it makes it worse with everyone telling you your doing anything wrong. Even her mother should not be giving her advice unless she asks for it. They will learn what works and doesn’t eventually. To email her telling her that is just wrong. Keep the gossip on a board like this. That is rude to do that.

She’s likely to be the first person who complains when something goes wrong and pulls the whole “i wish someone told us” line.

Its no wonder emma isn’t sleeping at night, she clearly doesnt get put in the basinet to sleep during the day.
