Can’t find this channel/blog anywhere! Help!

This is a long shot and so long ago that I’m sure I don’t remember everything correctly, but here goes. I wanted to just look up this family and get an update. Randomly remembered them and that I read about them either here or guru gossip, but can’t find them.
The story I remember is, super hippie crunchy family living out of their van. Later news reports show that dad does peyote and threw one of the kids off a bridge...? But I could be wrong on the specifics. Afterwards mom made a lot of vague blog posts that something had happened but not really revealing what. Again, forever ago so my specifics could be all wrong.
Ringing any bells for anyone? What is the name of this family. And I can’t remember if it was youtube, a blog, or both
