I think they say Alaya is the harder child because she has Oscar's temperament but Kyra's anxiety. Where as Levi is the opposite, he has Kyra's go with the flow, laid back/lazy personality but Oscar's joy for adventure. Alaya has Oscar's curiosity and stubbornness but Kyra's fear and anxiety. When you compare the two, having a child that wants to do everything and is pretty chill most of the time is a lot easier than a child who is always up to something but also freaks out and cries all the time.

I don't have kids yet, but I do know that whenever I spend time with the little boys in my family or my friends' young sons, I leave feeling like "I can't wait to have kids soon!" But when I spend time with their little girls, I leave feeling like "Hmmm, nope, I'm definitely gonna wait a few more years!" Even though the boys may be more physically active, the girls always seem more exhausting to me - like more mentally draining.

As for Kyra's caption on the announcement, I honestly think we're taking it too seriously. I bet she wrote that to sound cute, quirky, and funny or whatever. I don't think it necessarily means she isn't keeping her story straight on whether the baby was planned or not. I mean obviously if they were having unprotected sex, this baby is not an oopsie (and I'm always really annoyed when people say that, like they don't know how babies are made. ) But I also don't think the caption was meant to be taken all that literally.

I have two boys and a girl. It's s toss up really. My boys are more laid back but they gave me more stress because they have zero fear. I mean they would do some of the stupidest shit without a second guess and my heart would drop. But, they're chill when it comes to most everything. I can say no and they're like okay whatever.

My girl on the other hand, she is currently only 18 months but WOW! She is a whole knew level of ... there are no words. She is just very dramatic about everything. It's her way or no way. I wouldn't change having either for the world I love my kids. But I do think my boys were easier so far. Might change as she gets older. For sure they were easier babies.

I think alaya is harder because they stopped giving a fuck when the real money rolled in. She lost a good chunk of decent parenting, then all of a sudden 3 more women were taking care of her and her parents stepped back.

I have no respect for people like Kyra who see their babies as money signs. If she actually raised them herself it would be a different story. She got knocked up because she's a jealous money driven pig.

In my experience boys are so much easier than girls. I only have the two kids (one of each gender) but I also have 14 nieces and nephews and ALL of the girls are so much more work than the boys. My son is a gentle, sensitive old soul and is the easiest kid in the world and my daughter is fiery, stubborn, short tempered and an absolute menace. She has bullied and picked on her older brother from the moment she could move.
Boys are boisterous and crazy and mischievous and they have no fear and that can be exhausting but girls are on a whole other level, they’re drama queens, stubborn, fiery and just nuts.

That being said, all kids have their moments and they’re all hard to deal with at times.
