I know everyone is talking about the presets. But since I haven't been posting here for too long, can I gripe about something that's been driving me crazy since I first started watching? What is with her stupid valley girl accent??? I'm beginning to think it's a Temecula thing because Corbin from the wander family or whatever, talks like that too. I'm from orange county and don't remember it being that bad.

Example:
That = thot
Dad = Dod

I can't stand it.

But the weirdest part is that I don't think she used to talk like that. I was recently watching her first videos, and she sounds and acts like a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PERSON! she didnt talk weird, she didn't make those facial expressions, or do the crazy hand gestures and pointing. She seemed.....normal. She's really changed a lot. Sorry to take this off topic, but I just had to get that off my chest!

Do you have a specific video she has the accent in? I never caught it but people say I have a Texas accent and I never noticed either so maybe I don’t have the ear for it. I have noticed those god awful faces she makes though. Maybe she talked proper before and stayed reserved but now she’s comfortable in front of the camera she’s letting loose?

That's true! I live in an area with a ton of Hispanics (I'm half) and I'm told constantly that I sound like a white girl. But when I go deeper in Texas (more white people) they say I have a little Mexican accent. It just depends who's listening

I'm still going with Justin starting a channel. Or something youtube related. She had mentioned it was more of an announcement for Justin, and the direction for their family. Their goal is to do youtube full time. She actually thinks she's going to make it big. I think a trip would even be too exciting of an announcement for these people. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure she's scheming some way of going to visit her idol, and It'll happen eventually I'm sure. But these people are too boring to actually have an exciting announcement.

Those fucking presents are horrible, makes it like there’s 10 times more luminosity than there should be, as if something exploded and tore a hole in the sky just shinning in nothing, but ugly brightness that washes out color and casts shadows forever. Fuck those presets. Fuck this bitch for thinking she’s a professional photographer. What certifications or professionalism does she have that sets her apart from other youtube moms who are wannabe photographers. Let me buy a super expensive camera and take pics, I’m TOTES a photographer now.

From someone that has never heard of presets before, and doesn't understand why you'd pay for it when you can find a gazillion filters for free, i have to ask, Is the purpose to make you not look like yourself? It seems like everyone that uses them is trying to make their hair a totally different color. I guess that would work if you only live online, and never have real life people to say "wait, her hair isn't that color!" I just don't get it.

Is this supposed to be impressive? Because... It’s not and if it wasn’t a fellow YT Mama I guarantee they wouldn’t be promoting or using it on their pictures. And I highly doubt they’ll use it for their Instagram theme. It’s not pretty nor is it aesthetic.

A preset, when done correctly, is supposed to bring out the best of the photo, not take away from it. For example, we all have photos where the person has a lot of shadows on their face, so you can’t really see the person, even though the background looks great. I use presets from people who know what they are doing, so their presets help enhance the person and leave the background beautiful. As many have said, Rachelle’s are too blown out. In many of the examples, I do think you can see the person’s face better, but she adds too much white or something and is just destroying the integrity of the photo as a whole. It should be like makeup - used to enhance, not make you look like a clown.
