I have you safe is a bucket list family saying, so original
I can't stand Ashley and Tyson
My mother was a nurse and when we were little and got the croup she will bring us into the bathroom close the door and turn on the hot water for steam.
I'm going with reaction to the flu mist which can be a lot worse than the croup so glad Indie was seen at the hospital, she should be fine now.
Lets see how this plays out
Did I say I can't stand Ashley and Tyson

Steroids is standard treatment for croup. But epinephrine sounds like allergic reaction but can also be given to shrink the swelling causing difficulty breathing.lmmomSD wrote:NOT defending her, but with little ones, we'll let the parents hold them and give them the breathing treatment. It makes things easier for everyone.gram3 wrote:And why was Trashley holding the patient? For a photo-op? Otherwise she would have been left laying on the gurney. Of course her post had to turn it all about her, she asked if Indie felt better and safe because Mama was there to keep her safe and of course Indie said yes. Yea, that's exactly the kind of thing a normal mother would post. How do they ever hear the cats any other night if they run a fan all the time. I think a million holes can be poked in this newest story. I hope some posters/KADs snap out of their sympathy induced brain fog soon to pose a few questions to the hapless parents; just like when they staged the blackout.
If her O2 sats (not "stats"-- she really is a moron) were really down to 68, that's not good.
The epinephrine and steroids make it sound like an allergic reaction to me.

Re: Gardner Quad Squad | Our Story Unraveling | Part 33
A have a friend who went to the same hospital when her little girl had really bad croup. Her oxygen level dipped to 70 and she was air lifted to the other hospital.
One of my kids gets croup a lot. He got it the worst when he was almost 2. I had to take him to the er a couple times for steroids and breathing treatments. But when he had stridor and was lethargic I called an ambulance. I didn't feel comfortable driving with him by myself in that condition and I wasn't going to wait around for someone else to get there to watch my other kids so my husband could go. He has never received epinephrine. Makes me wonder if it's a reaction to the flu mist and not croup. Have the girls never had the flu shot before?

Poor Indie, I really do feel terrible for that little girl. How scary that must have been for her to go through. I do hope she recovers quickly.
As for the idiot parents, I see so many things in this story that make me ask WHAT? Instead of worrying about and taking care of their little miracle, they instantly think of the views and sympathy that are about to come their way. They make me sick. At first I thought maybe if something happened to one of the girls it would be a wake up call. I see I was completely wrong. These 2 don’t deserve those girls. I can’t stand them, I can’t stand what they are doing to these children and I can’t stand the fact that not one single person will stand up for these girls. Those families watch them do this, support it and defend them. They are pure evil - every single one of them!

I don’t ever remember them making a huge deal over the flu vaccine before. I would hope they had gotten them as babies, but who knows with these crazies. I do know your first flu vaccine you get half a dose & then a second half 30 days later. I feel something like that would have gotten 2 vlogs, but who knows.ears wrote:A have a friend who went to the same hospital when her little girl had really bad croup. If I had to guess, I’d say they only got the flu mist because the girls are in school now & it’s required.

Well one big ole red flag is according to Trash when she got her outside into the cool air she looked down and was turning blue.... But according to Bison by the time they got to the hospital she was turning blue! So which is it? And I agree with all of you.. if my kid could breathe I wouldn’t be waiting until someone got there.. it would be ambulance or I would take her my self alone! I will pray for the little girl to (who’s parents are complete idiots when it comes to anything!) to get better soon...

I refuse to ever get the flu vaccine. I'm not against vaccines, but I have my reasons for not getting the flu vaccine. That's just me though.

Re: Gardner Quad Squad | Our Story Unraveling | Part 33
Call me dramatic but when I had a kid who couldn't breathe and was blue I called an ambulance and hopped in the back with kiddo and husband showed up at the ER after. Money isn't an issue they have money to blow on stupid shit and takeout every day.
Our local country hospital's pediatric unit only has 10 beds and no Pediatrician in the building they call for advice and he comes in once a day for a few hours to see kids. So usually we're transferred to the city.
Maybe that's why Indie was the only one being good for her mist because she was not feeling well and Dumb and Dumber were too busy to notice a change in their child's behavior. Epinephrine sounds like an allergic reaction though poor Indie not that I trust parents to tell the whole truth. When the finger got squished in the door they also waited with their child's mangled finger for someone to come watch the others instead of just taking them all and then Dad sitting in the parking lot with the girls while mom ran in with the sick kiddo.

Re: Gardner Quad Squad | Our Story Unraveling | Part 33
Unfortunately, anyone can report an adverse reaction to vaccines to the VAERS which has made it almost entirely meaningless. People on the internet will report child getting sick 6+ weeks after vaccination as a reaction because of heavy metals. I do have to wonder if this was a plan thanks to low views and they know how rabid anti-vaxxers are. That and the general level of pity they'll get with lots of hospital photos.
When Jessfam's daughter had her "aborted SIDS" they came out of the woodwork then and insisted Addie was "vaccine injured" and then Jess is like no sorry she's never even been vaccinated. They were so sure they saw signed of heavy metal poisoning in the bags under Addie's eyes.

The part that pisses me off the most is how attention seeking they are. If my child is rushed to the ER my first thought isn’t to post it to 6 different social media locations.

My daughter was hospitalized at just under 2 with a respiratory virus and never once did I ask her if I was the best mom. Know how I knew I was a good mom? I called a The fucking paramedics because I knew they could administer care right away and get her to an ER quickly.gram3 wrote:I scooped her up, I brought her outside, I asked her if I was the best Mom, I... I do have to say though that we were transferred too because we went to the nearest ER and when they got her stabilized the next morning they transferred us to a children’s hospital.
What absolute shitty parents.

Re: Gardner Quad Squad | Our Story Unraveling | Part 33
I did some googling on the epinephrine because it concerned me. Apparently it’s not uncommon to use nebulized epinephrine with steroids to treat severe croup.
I still can’t believe that gave those kids the mist instead of a true flu shot. I don’t know when they quit considering them high risk because of their premature status. I have a compromised immune system my doctor just laughed when I asked about the mist. She even made my adult daughter get a real shot this year because she’s around me a lot. They took the easy way out and it was still a shit show.

So this could all be [just] croup.
It's hard to tell how often these kids are actually sick in the winter and how often they are drugged for compliance.
