She’s an idiot Mother..telling viewers not to criticize Julie..then she does. I bet that girl just deflated at what her own Mother said about her. That’s the worst..when Mom says things like that. Julie will remember that forever. Sad. Poor Julie got the same mouth, lip movement thing all the Griffiths sisters have. Yikes. I wonder if braces would help.
It's even worse of her to ask him in front of the camera embarrassing him when he is obviously upset. I hope that Ruby and Kevin get over themselves and put Russel in a school with kids like him so he doesn't think that something is wrong with him, because there is nothing wrong with him he just has different needs and will always fail competing with kids without needs. Imagine if Russel never gets any help and just explodes one day. Someone will get some of his built up anger when he grows up if Ruby and Kevin don't act now.

About Julie, this woman can't stop putting this girl down. Ruby doesn't care about her children's progresses in anything. She just puts them in activities for ratings. Julie mentioned that she was good but hadn't attended the gymnastic classes for weeks, how come? How is she suppose to get any better if she doesn't train? I also wonder about her swimming and tennis classes? I knew that Ruby was just fooling around looking for ratings.

Ruby’s little speeches are about giving her audience life lessons, not making her kids feel good and supported. She was lecturing the audience to be nice and supportive to Julie because it’s okay to do something for fun even if you’re not good at it...she had that whole speech prepared to tell the 11 years watching her channel in some poor attempt to boost them up, totally ignoring the fact that she was doing it at the expense of her own daughter sitting right next to her. Ruby’s whole shtick is feel good, wholesome teeny bopper, I’ll-give-you-a-safe space-here-on-this-channel-even-if-you-don’t have-one-at-home bullshit. Too bad she couldn’t see she was putting down her own kid in her quest to dole out life advice for random preteens on the internet.

^ Yeah, The Ruby Show gets worse and worse. By now it's just her prattling into the camera, doing her silly staged camera shots (put camera down, walk by it, run back to get camera), or puts one of her many kids next to her into the camera frame and then talks to that kid through the 4th wall. - The epitome of living for the camera instead of filming life.

In that regard:
I dabbled with starting a youtube channel for the last three years, and I actually filmed our family daily for half a year, but I never uploaded anything, and probably never will. - Good choice, I say.

Why does Ruby just let Eve run off and do her own thing? She does it all the time and doesn't seem to worry at all! It also really bugged me when she walked out of the shop and just left the shoes and tiara on the ground that's so rude and disrespectful.

This. She totally sees herself as some role model of "strong womanhood". When they were at Disney World with April and Davey, she was going on about how proud she is to be able to "help" young girls find their way.
Ugh. She is one of the _last_ people I would want either of my kids taking "life lessons" from.

Did she really let Eve try on a ballet outfit when she had no intentions of buying it? A tutu maybe, but a whole suit? Come on!

Actually, I think Ruby wasn't watching her, and Eve snuck and did it herself. It is not the first time Eve has run off and tried on something. Remember, the last time they went to the mall? I think it was JC Penney and Eve ran off and tried on a unicorn shirt(?) .
Leaving the tiara and shoes on the floor was very rude!

Idk if any of you saw but Ruby posted on insta story that the owner of the store offered to clean everything so that Ruby could remove Eve from the store and bring her to the car. According to Ruby, Eve was screaming, crying, and kicking enough that it was disrupting the other customers. Ruby said something along the lines of how it wasn’t an okay behavior but it was age appropriate and she was going to probably have to have the same convo again with Eve.

Idk about y’all, but when my girls were 5 (they’re 6 now so not far off) they would be damned if they threw a fit enough in a store where they were kicking, screaming and throwing items. That behavior is understood around 2, 3, maybe even 4 but definitely was not tolerated at all at 5. Did they cry and whine in stores when I said no? Sure. But not kicking and throwing.

I have twin girls with completely different personalities and they knew better probably at 3 years old.

My 4 year old knows better then to behave like that, and he can be a little terror when worked up....

I think Eve’s behaviour is due to lack or proper supervision and discipline and probably boredom. She has been treated like a baby for so long and ruby is happy for her to act up and be a menace because it’s good vlog footage and Eve has gotten away with bad behaviour so long, even been encouraged to act out. She hasn’t had consequences for her actions and you can’t just expect her to know how to behave at 5 if she hasn’t been taught. Not only that but she has been kept back from preschool despite the fact that she is definitely old enough and she is more than ready. She should be going to school and socialising with other kids her age and following school rules, this would help her to understand how to behave.
My daughter is 5 and she has finished kindy for the year (australia) and is off school until she starts primary (elementary) school next year and she is bored at home and her behaviour some days has been atrocious because she needs to stimulation from school. I have no doubt Eve is the same, she must be so bored at home with Ruby all day everyday while all the other kids are at school.

I cannot believe that Eve could run off and do this secretly in a SMALL boutique. Ruby told her in the car beforehand that they are not going to buy her anything and then anyways she did let her play in the store on purpose. Of course any little girl would get their hopes up if mom lets them try something on, no matter what is previously agreed! They did not have Chad with them so they didn't even have to try anything on. How hard is it to hold hands with your little girl when you are talking to a salesperson and she is showing you options. She reaps what she sows. She started well by explaining her beforehand what is expected but then she did not follow through obviously...

Exactly! Ruby's like ''Do not discourage my daughter in the comments, let me do it in front of her!'' That was so fucked up. Nobody should hear so harsh comments from their own mom. It doesn't matter what Ruby thinks about Julie's skills. Julie might have thought herself that she is quite good, but certainly she does not do so anymore after her own mom's nasty comments. (In my opinion, Ruby is killing all the fun this girl is having)
Ruby's attitude towards her is so bad. She even mentioned that she didn't even expect her to do well in swimming and Julie surprised her. Why would she have such expectations? I think Julie looks the most athletic in their family.

Eve was saying in the car something along the lines of “It’s hard to yell at me because I’m super cute” - Ruby has obviously told her this in the past. Ruby is confusing her.

I felt the same way when watching her Insta story. Nope that is not age appropriate. The store owner probably thought Eve was three.

So was the store incident an instastory not a vlog? I thought it was a vlog and couldn't find it. I thought she had deleted the vlog because of the feedback.

Why does she think a kindergarten aged child is acting age-appropriately when tearing up a store? Got it. As soon as my kids were out of strollers and allowed to walk around, we taught them how to act in a store.

I hate when parents are afraid of their kids.

Ruby has had issues with eve acting in appropriately in stores for as long as I can remember. Who can forget her climbing to the top of that play set sitting 10+ feet up on a display?! Or the countless other times we’ve seen her unsupervised running around reeking havoc on everything she touches. This is not some new phenomenon Ruby needs to work on as she suggests in the video. Eve is plenty old enough to know store etiquette and how to behave in public. Sure meltdowns can be expected every once in a blue moon..but being so bad the store owner tells you to just leave as to not disrupt other customers and she’ll deal with the mess? This is a parenting problem not an age or child issue. Ruby dropped the ball. I agree with everyone. Eve should be in school, learning social and educational concepts from other children and adults that she clearly is not receiving from inside her home. She’s clearly a smart girl, she needs stimulation. She’ll unfortunately be a little terror in kindergarten because it appears she has no home training and no clue how to act in public thanks to Ruby’s hands off parenting, coddling, and attempts to make her kids YouTube stars. We can only hope Ruby doesn’t decide to homeschool her through kindergarten though...
