Ew, Gaines is being such a brat in the JK today vlog. Whatever happened to the sweet child she was? Clearly she’s immune to her parents’ discipline because you could see her smiling and pulling away from Katie when Katie was telling her to stop pushing Julia.

Brooks wasn't even dressed and already had a lollipop.
Are they teaching him to show off his mouth full of food? At the restaurant, he was sitting there with his mouth open, trying to get Cullen's attention?
And Cullen just laughed at his meltdown over not getting a soccer ball from the vending machine. And he definitely had a big margarita in front of him.
This was the first vlog I watched in a long time and it was like watching paint dry. Why include footage of the dark car, with Cullen making an ass of himself?
And wipe off Brooks' face, ffs.

Brooks was so dang cute in the vlog today. I love to hear him talk, he has the sweetest little voice and the way he talks is just so cute.

Between Gaines whining and Katie getting all crabby about finding a donation place, the beginning of the vlog was terrible.
And Cullen: get down on Brooks' level and explain that you are not buying stuff for him. He really was NOT explaining it well. "We are not buying for you. We are buying for Gaines. Put Mickey back". That's how you do it. All the long explaining wasn't getting through to him. And once he picked something out, why keep looking? It was just confusing him. And he ended up with a cart full of stuff that they were going to have to put back. No backbone.
And they have gotten Gaines indoctrinated into the gender normative toys for sure. She was looking at a pink squishy, and said she didn't want to get it for Brooks because "It's too girly". She's 4.
And no. Do not have Gaines stand on Cullen's outstretched arms to put the star on the tree. Maybe if you didn't have a nine foot tree, it wouldn't be so hard.

They did learn nothing. Brooks is too young for this hypocritical nonsense anyway, it's not fair to drag him into this, Gaines his age also didn't have to by the way. And Gaines only got presents by having the sole attention and quality time with Katie, plus a carousel ride, plus shoes probably, plus 3 (!) times being complimented by Katie for having picked out a star for the christmee tree, even after shopping the presents keep coming. She did not do a good job and picked something out for herself with the pink toy she choose, and then in second instance said, and probably hinted as indirectly asking for it, that that was something she would like. Fortunately, Katie didn't give in. But giving all the other stuff to Gaines at the same time defies this again and all the purpose of being capable of giving something without anything in return. Not that I think children should be capable of this as I believe they learn it along the way and I wouldn't make such an explicit issue out of it. And of course when Gaines could chose between 2 things she choose the smallest one for Brooks and the one she still can profit from, but maybe this is a coincidence. Fortunately Brooks likes Mickey Mouse. And then Gaines underestimating Brooks and treating him like a baby, I knew it. Katie said they had had a very productive afternoon, indicating they bought more than shown probably, like shoes (boots) for Gaines who was posing on camera in the center of attention, and indicating the quality time with Katie to me. Gaines also could have gotten ice creme, who knows, or other lunch beverages together with Katie, and why didn't they go shopping as a family and why was Katie with Gaines as always and Cullen with Brooks, so unnatural. Brooks is too young and it was torturing him, and it was ridiculous to drive by all that toys and toys. I would have loved to see Gaines being told that only she had to give something to Brooks because he is too young to understand. That is something her personality needs badly in my opinion. I liked the green light from the kitchen behind Katie when she was talking in the living room at the end. But of course she had to give cloths to Britany against the rules, which reminds me a bit of a soapmaker I am following on YT, who first hired her own husband into the company, then her oldest brother and now her second oldest brother, only investing into her own family and not 'losing' money. I'm starting to doubt if Katie is a good giver herself, seeing the trouble and ramble she had about the different kinds of donating centers. Gee girl, you should (or, also could) have donated those bags 2 weeks ago. And I don't fully go along with her Christmas excuse for not making a start with the books yet.

I noticed that Cullen was with Brooks and Katie was with Gaines too. They can't do it the other way around, can they? Of course not! And yes, it was just cruel to keep walking around the toy department after Brooks had chosen a present for Gaines. He was so obviously overwhelmed. "Oh, do you want to get that for Gaines? Then you have to put Minnie back" at least 4 times. Poor kid. He picked out a toy for Gaines, leave the toy department. Stop dangling toys he can't have over him. And notice, Katie took Gaines to the store that was going out of business and had everything on sale for Brooks' present, and Cullen took Brooks to a regular store to pick out Gaines'.
And what was that "If we keep going, you don't have to take a nap" bit? Either she needs a nap or she doesn't. If she needs a nap, take her home and get her her nap. Yeah, Katie, you're a great child psychologist. Write a book, why don't you?
