I was tempted to write a lengthy, meaningful post about Rachelle and my opinion on her as I've watched her throughout the past year-and-a-half, but I can put it in a few sentences: Rachelle is extremely ignorant and has an awful personality. She has become increasingly insufferable to watch; her blatant disregard for her viewers and lack of awareness regarding community input, criticism, and opinions shows her lack of maturity, and while I think Justin is immature and has his own issues, her treatment of him (comments about his fertility issues, her lack of respect towards him as Emma's father) is hard to watch at times.

I might have been overly harsh, but that video of her shaking Emma was too much.

Absolutely not overly harsh at all, I could have wrote the exact same thing... (except its 10pm on Christmas night, after hosting our extended family today!)

She cant take criticism (deletes and blocks)
She cant take nice suggestions (deletes and blocks)
Shes what 23? Yet acts 13
She throws justin under the bus at every chance she can
She is casually having Justin throw everything away (career, family, benefits, education)
She is stunting emmas growth despite being a “teacher”
She is not prepared emotionally for a baby after brynn
She is no prepared emotionally for life.. full stop!


I dont go out of my way wanting to snark on someone.

She has zero tolerance of anyone elses opinion if it doesnt match her own small minded-ness.

What is wrong with them! On a different note, something else that I noticed is how completely unresponsive Emma is. Not one smile or expression. That was my son or friends kids they at least grin or do SOMETHING. She literally just hangs there, they need to stimulate that child and I don’t mean by nearly decapitating her. I get the sense off camera they don’t smile at her a lot and may fight. I get reserved temperaments exist but she’s just so....blah. Weird to me as a mom of a child that age

Have you seen all of her tweets about colorful toys? I actually think it's quite interesting. But.. I have a feeling that she had to Google it before tweeting.

The montessori/reggio Emilia view on toys are not wrong. But neither is the the opposite view. And I have a 4 year degree in child development and I work with 0-3 year olds 8 hours a day.

What I find incredibly strange, is that someone with A DEGREE AND EXPERIENCE in the classroom, does not use this knowledge in her vlogs, to give her choice of toys a more interesting back story. It would actually be interesting content. Personally I wouldn't be able to shut up about my knowledge about something I filmed an entire vlog about.

If she really knew anything at all, why not be making semi-educational videos with Emma? "Stimulation Play at 4 months" or whatever the development activities are called. Spread the knowledge, Rachelle! Or I guess just more shopping at Target, and shopping at Buy Buy Baby, and shopping on Amazon, and shopping on trendy instagram pages.

I can understand her argument to some extent. Sure, have a few toys that are not overly stimulating, BUT, you also need some toys that ARE stimulating. Babies go through so many changes mentally in the first year of life, it’s actually good for them to be stimulated as long as they are in the mood to be. Doesn’t she see how expressionless and blah Emma is? My son is 4 weeks older, I’ve been setting him down to play with toys for ages now, I love seeing the cogs in his head turn (is that even the right expression lol) and figure things out.

Don’t need a degree to know that! Haha it’s common knowledge and common sense but Rachelle lacks both.
I have never worked in a daycare or preschool and I know far more than she does. She is limiting that child. Doesn’t everyone notice she only brags about Emma and doesn’t really give developmental updates. The last one was when Emma laughed or Emma “rolled” over which I’ve never even seen that by the way. I’ve seen the laugh though. But all babies are bound to laugh. Some babies don’t learn to fully roll over until after 4-6 months. I’ve heard of some babies not even sitting up until 8 months. I know Emma isn’t near ready to sit up but I’m just saying. She won’t show Emma off unless she makes the milestone early or on time. Also she claimed Emma was this big baby but when she held her in that video Emma looked super small in my opinion. It’s like far away she looks small and close up she looks big. It was a shock I was surprised she looked like a little doll. Didn’t help that her mom was making her brain slap around in her unfused skull. Idk why she keeps attempting to post videos of that? It’s not cute to dance with your baby! Not when you do it that way.

Emma doesn’t really interact with her surroundings or the people around her. Her parents have literally made her into a breathing doll. She just... sits there with a blank stare on her face, doing nothing.
