I wish either the DB or these fools would spill the tea. Because I am dying to know what happened between them.jmoysa wrote:

And what "standing up for what was right" did they do, really? I don't think I saw them at any marches. Or actually helping others.jmoysa wrote:

That’s the part I think he’s talking about the Lannings. Someone posted this on the bumps thread. I said that both of them are egotistical, lazy douches. Corbin doesn’t like to be told what to do. Bryan likes to have assistants because he’s lazy and probably had to justify giving them $$$. I think both of the wives were true friends.lmmomSD wrote:And what "standing up for what was right" did they do, really? I don't think I saw them at any marches. Re: Steps to Avoiding Responsibility - Part 5
That's totally shade at the Lannings. I think Corbin didn't want to be involved in their weird kiddie channel, even though it's making DBs a TON of $$$$. I bet that's why he ended up quitting or was fired.
I have to admit that the adults who make kiddie content are extremely weird.

Re: Steps to Avoiding Responsibility - Part 5
They want to join a church or a "spiritual center"? Since when are they remotely religious? They've even said in the past they are NOT religious. I wonder if this is another way Corbin's parents are pressuring them.
I call total BS that they haven't lived anywhere long enough to find a church. Corbin freaking WORKED for a church in PDX and they never attended. They could have gone to church with the Lannings in SoCal. They haven't gone to church or a "spiritual center" since they started vlogging 5+ years ago. I wonder why now?? Seems odd.

I couldn’t even stomach a minute of it after skipping the 3 minute ad. They’re just talking tone talking now. They’ve got nothing else to say or show because they’re so boring.ewokfan11 wrote:They want to join a church or a "spiritual center"? Since when are they remotely religious? You’re right he did work for a church. How long did that last, I don’t remember? Wonder what the longest he’s ever worked at one job.
They could have even gone to church with the other ex Lanning friends/assistants... the johnsons and sly fox but never did.
These two are such losers at this point.

I was going to say kelsey could not have found a more unflattering pair of glasses, but she's had some pretty awful ones in the past. Remember her middle part and grandma glasses about a year ago?
I'm guessing they want some type of unitarian type place for a church. I doubt they'll actually commit to it.
And to some up the resolutions, how can we keep hanging on by a thread to this whole YouTube thing without getting real jobs?
"projects"!!!!! Please.

I think it was less than six months. They moved back to Portland in January, I remember he took paternity leave when June was born (although it seemed like Corbin just peaced out of work rather than using FMLA because I doubt he qualified for it at that point), and it was apparent he had stopped working at the church altogether at least a few months before they moved to California.jmoysa wrote: You’re right he did work for a church. Re: Steps to Avoiding Responsibility - Part 5
The things about these two that is so strange/interesting/ maddening is they have zero personality. It is like two people with absolutely no personalities happened to find each other and decided to go on a journey together trying to find one. Everything they say they believe in they contradict almost immediately. They never ever stick to a personality or a belief system. They didn't believe in pitocin or an epidural, then they did a 360. They didn't believe in owning a car because he environment, then they bought one. Cloth diapers only that didn't even last a week. Gender neutral only, she is the most girly child ever. They are supposed salt if the earth tree hugging hippies and then they can't understand anything that would fit that. Like let's pierce June's ears without her consent force her to sit in Santa's lap without her consent and obvious objection on multiple occasions. Because it is cute and everyone is offended blah blah. They want to do a trip to help hurricane victims but worry not there will be partying too! You know around all those hurricane victims. Can't just take the RV on the road trip cause car seat safety. But let's forward face and throw her in the front seat of a shitty truck.
I mean they never ever stick to anything ever.

Re: Steps to Avoiding Responsibility - Part 5
He worked for the church even before they went on the van trip. He just did their web/SM stuff, so he could work from the road. He was only PT, so he definitely didn't have any benefits from that job. He quit working for the church after June was born because their YT numbers were WAY up and they were getting more sponsorships and paying deals—like that TV show.fossilfinger wrote:I think it was less than six months. You could not have summer them up more perfectly. I can't stand people like that. They take all these stands on every issue, (their "belief system" ) and can't follow through on any of them. They're lazy, wishy-washy, and they talk a big game about their so-called "beliefs". These people are where the millennial stereotype comes from.Steps_to_STFU wrote:The things about these two that is so strange/interesting/ maddening is they have zero personality. I'm a tad older, mid-thirties, with a daughter the same age. It scares me to think these are the types of parents I'm going to have to associate with when my kid goes to school. Ugh.

I am the same. I am mid thirties and a daughter born the week after June. I however have two older kids and let me tell you, people like them are insane with their kids. They're the kind that don't allow their children to eat the birthday cupcakes brought by other students because they're on a gluten free, peanut free, sugar free, dairy free, non gmo paleo new aged diet. Everyone else gets a cupcake and they're there with their lump of bran muffin.lavenderlove wrote:You could not have summer them up more perfectly. I can't stand people like that. Yes! Thank you! I'll just have to find people like you to be friends with...meaning NORMAL parents!Steps_to_STFU wrote:I am the same. I am mid thirties and a daughter born the week after June. That was totally me that mentioned their social blade.ewokfan11 wrote:On IG Corbin posted a photo that seems to imply they are in Canada and tagged Banff. Huh?! From Boise to Banff is about a 14-hour drive. I wonder why they just decided to up and leave??!! Or is it an old photo? I noticed there is no snow on the ground.
That's sort of a new low to fake being on a trip when he's probably sitting at home in Boise. Someone in the comments even mentioned how bad their SocialBlade stats are. WOW! I guess it's not a big secret they are really failing.

No house, living with her mom, no jobs, YouTube channel dying...yet they go out and get $400 Apple Watch and fancy snowboard bindings!
Strange that even though they talked about it, never showed the other house. Maybe reality sunk in what having your parents pay is going to get you.
Wonder if his parents are going to pay for all the monthly expenses for a house. How much does hello fresh pay them? They just don’t have the views to get big $$$

They are going to hint to death how much they love houses that are always strangely just out of their price range till mommy and daddy enablers step in (for June of course) and up the difference.

Re: Steps to Avoiding Responsibility - Part 5
They are LYING about looking at houses. If they have a Realtor, then they should be talking to their Realtor and NOT be going to Sunday open houses on their own—that's not how it works. That's a huge sign they aren't seriously looking. I'm guessing they haven't been pre-approved for a loan, so Relators don't take them seriously. Realtors only want to work with serious (pre-approved) buyers, otherwise it's a waste of their time. If they were working with a Realtor, then they'd be looking a lot more and getting new listings.
Corbin mentioned he was really mad about the watch being late. That guy is so full of rage it's scary. People don't care if their present is late. That happened to me this Christmas when Amazon predicted a gift was coming on the 27th, so I just warned the person it would be late and it was no big deal—and it came early anyway. I also find it weird they are splurging on things like an Apple Watch when they are obviously BROKE.
BTW: This seems to be the house they looked at. If $270K is out of their price range then they are SCREWED! That's not a big budget at all. They should be looking at little condos with low HOAs.

Re: Steps to Avoiding Responsibility - Part 5
I really do think their car is leased. They seemed extra worried about cleaning it and detailing it. If it is leased they have to return it or buy it soon.
Seriously, I can't imagine living like these two do. They don't really own anything. They really don't even have a place to LIVE. They have a lot of debt and aren't even trying to find real jobs. How do they afford insurance (health and for the car)? How do they pay their bills?? How are they even paying their taxes? It appears they've lost a ton of YT income (like two months worth) and they do really lame brand deals. I'm guessing they bring in an average of $1000 a month. YIKES.
They have a child. Corbin and Kelsey are fit enough to work. Why do they choose to live this way?? They could easily afford that $270K house if they hadn't wasted all their time with YT and had real jobs. $270K is a starter home price.
