I have often thought that too and if Ellie truly has thyroid issues then Ruby could too. That stuff runs in families, it's in mine from my Grandmother and her Sister to me and my Sister, an Aunt and my Niece. Extreme forgetfulness has been one I have noted personally but she even takes it to another level or maybe it's because she has so much to remember with that many kids. Regardless she needs to go to a real Doctor or her nearest "Chiropractor" for more advice.YouDunnoMe wrote:Catface2 wrote:If Ruby can get seriously lost 100 yards from the Temple..that very concerning. She has no sense of direction. No awareness of her surroundings..that’s why she always loses Eve and shows up at the wrong places. Hot mess
I would be wondering if maybe she has some kind of issue with her brain? Like a brain tumor, or maybe early onset Alzheimer's. I do know there's "Mom brain" but, hers goes way beyond that, and I would honestly look in to it, if I was her.

In Shari’s video she is explaining how they’re going out to eat and ruby yells out in the background it’s because Julie forgot the eggs at the store. Umm ruby you are the mom it’s your fault. Don’t put your 9 year old in charge of groceries for your family and blame it on her.

Early mother/wife training. So she'll do a good job on her 18th birthday when she starts a family.Ckc717 wrote:In Shari’s video she is explaining how they’re going out to eat and ruby yells out in the background it’s because Julie forgot the eggs at the store. When I was 16 I liked a 14 yr old because he was “mature” and at the time I thought he was good looking. 2 years after that I fell in love with his older brother and we’re married now..so I guess what I’m saying is I don’t think it’s that weird for a girl to like a younger boypleasecleanyourhouse wrote:I've rewatched some of the previous videos from Ruby and Bonnie as well as watching this year's and I'm wondering - what's with all the guns? Is it that common for kids (and adults) in the US to get all these guns etc? Or is it a mormon thing?
In my country it would be super weird to get such a thing, we're not even allowed to have guns etc.
Also, I always wonder why all these girls (Kesley, Danielle, Klai) are so into Chad when he's 2 years younger than them? Now that I'm older it doesn't really matter but when I was in my teens it was embarrassing to have a younger boyfriend

maybe ruby does have some problems with her memory but she also exaggerates a lot for the camera *cough* the burnt pan incident *cough*
Re: 8 Passengers: No Rules & Private Schools | Part 9
If it's serious you go to the doctor not whine about it on Youtube over and over again. Everytime she shares these stories her children look suspicious and distance about it and Kevin manages to tone it down.ujvs_ wrote:maybe ruby does have some problems with her memory but she also exaggerates a lot for the camera *cough* the burnt pan incident *cough*

She needs to go to a Neurologist. My Dad had early onset dimentia and Alzheimer’s. He got lost from the driveway to the front door! Shits no joke. He was only late 40s when it began. Horrible, horrible thing to witness. He was my heroNamm wrote:If it's serious you go to the doctor not whine about it on Youtube over and over again. How awful. I'm so sorry! My grandma died of Alzheimer's-- got lost going home from church, and my grandpa died of diabetes. My dad was terrified that would happen to him. He died of a heart attack, so it was good for him, but not so much for us. He was my hero too. My mom died of Creutzfeld Jakob disease (the human variation of mad cow disease)Catface2 wrote:She needs to go to a Neurologist. My Dad had early onset dimentia and Alzheimer’s. If she is really having so much memory loss, she needs to get checked out.

Hi! Long time lurker, and first time poster in this forum.
I've only been watching 8 Passengers for about six months (and not regularly). But holy hell, Ruby is only 36!?! She looks so much older than that, and based off of her demeanor I never would have guessed that she was that young. She reminds me a lot of someone who is desperately trying to hold on to her youth and act much younger than she is - and that makes her seem older. If I had been asked to guess her age, I would have said somewhere around 42. Wow! I mean, I guess it makes sense based off of her sisters' and her brother's ages (Bonnie does look older than she is also, though), but I guess my brain just never rationalized that before now.
I am by no means a huge fan of Ruby or anything, and I definitely don't think she is the hardest working mother out there ... but goodness, this woman needs some time away from her kids to get some rest and some deep sleep. I think it would make all the difference in her appearance. I am just so surprised. Wow!

they took the xbox with them to hawaii?! oh my god...
Re: 8 Passengers: No Rules & Private Schools | Part 9
I had to replay that part of the video, who takes their Xbox with them on vacation?! I'm sorry, when we go on vacation we often don't have television let alone Xbox. You're on vacation, there are plenty of relaxing activities around!! How ungrateful!ujvs_ wrote:they took the xbox with them to hawaii?! oh my god...

Exactly! When I go on vacation I don’t even take my mobile phone - it’s supposed to be a chance to escape and explore not sit inside and play games when there is so much to do in Hawaii. Not everyone has the opportunity to go to Hawaii or even on holiday abroad so this was frustrating to hear.Mieke wrote:I had to replay that part of the video, who takes their Xbox with them on vacation?! Ruby just has to film everything doesn’t she!? It’s so gross. How do kids find this entertaining? Seeing a strangers pee being waved around in a plastic bottle and Ruby filming herself putting it in the cup holder? I realised long ago that there are no personal boundaries within this family so I can’t say that I am surprised.

Hawaii? And they took the X Box? Freaking unbelievable. Even when it rains, you can find something to do.ujvs_ wrote:they took the xbox with them to hawaii?! oh my god...

Yeah that was way too far. So gross. And they're all laughing about it...
Re: 8 Passengers: No Rules & Private Schools | Part 9
It is already unbelievable for me, that a boy of this age does not give a signal in a timly manner that he has to pee, so that they are able to find a restroom. To pee in a bottle in a car full with his family is kind of disrespectful.
Edit: guess they took the Xbox with them for two reasons: otherwise Chad would have "rebelled" and like this they have something to make him behave ... "If you do not, no Xbox, Chad."

The kids didn't wanna get wet... you know cause, they don't swim in the ocean, and get wet. *eye roll* They are spoiled brats.lmmomSD wrote:Hawaii? And they took the X Box? Freaking unbelievable. I LOVE how chad had to say, “it says please keep off the displays, you are definitely not keeping off.” For ruby to notice eve climbing all over the missile.
Also at the shop when she went behind the counter? Ummmm tf?? when ruby says get over here she replies with no. I don’t think so. My child would have gotten in so much trouble. I don’t believe Ruby’s method of, “discipline,” is working with eve. She needs to pull her head out of her butt and realize eve isn’t the exception to every. freaking. rule.
She’s a brat. And it’s not cute. No Matter how many time ruby and sherri say aweee she’s so cute. No get that girl in line. I’m honestly on the verge on not watching for another year Because I can’t stand eves behaviour.

Re: 8 Passengers: No Rules & Private Schools | Part 9
That post Ruby made about wanting her kids to say to each other "remember that time we went to Hawaii?" seems to be more about just going to Hawaii and being able to say "We went to Hawaii" than actually wanting to go, and wanting to do the things that are available there to do. I don't like Bonnie at all, but when they went to Hawaii for that month, they went to the beach, went snorkeling, the kids swam in the ocean (or splashed around in it, anyway, because they can't really swim) and just seemed to really get into the available activities. Cody was dying to learn how to surf.YouDunnoMe wrote:The kids didn't wanna get wet... you know cause, they don't swim in the ocean, and get wet. *eye roll* They are spoiled brats.lmmomSD wrote:Hawaii? Re: 8 Passengers: No Rules & Private Schools | Part 9
She says she has to "pick her battles" with Eve. But she doesn't pick any of them. She doesn't bother to discipline Eve _ever_. I get picking your battles. But that means you do have to engage at least some of the time!Happy Mommy 319 wrote:I LOVE how chad had to say, “it says please keep off the displays, you are definitely not keeping off.” For ruby to notice eve climbing all over the missile.
