In regards to the last thread, I’m surprised Hilary could afford a new Honda. She works in an aerospace department selling parts or whatever but she can afford an apartment in Cali by herself and a car note? All by herself? Idk. Usually people need roommates. I wonder how much she truly makes.

I know her mom lives in a separate apartment or home. I think her mom used to live with her but hasn’t for some time. She’s been living alone as far as I know. I just know a lot of single people can’t afford a car note on top of an apartment in Cali. It’s expensive to rent there. $1800 for 1 bedroom I think. At least where she stays. She’s posted her address multiple times accidentally or purposely but I think the rent ranges from $1800-$2500 there. She has to make decent money doing what she’s doing.

She seems to be offended that people are asking her what she will do with the pink playroom (?) once her son comes. " I think it's so bizarre that people think I have to change out all the pink just because we're having a boy. I can guarantee you he will not be the least bit bothered y a certain color of a couch and some toy bins"

That is true though? I am sure she will be more gender neutral with new stuff she buys but why redecorate a play room just because it is pink? Its not like she is dressing him in all Shays old clothes lol

Oh I definitely agree. It would be ridiculous to redo everything after just setting the room up not too long ago. But I don't think she should be so taken back by the question. She keeps saying how she's going to be a boy mom and everything's going to be different. So of course people are going to question if and what changes she might make.

Yes, it is currently 2019. There is nothing wrong with boys liking pink.

I'm just saying with a mother who puts atheistics/appearance over EVERYTHING and a Dad who drinks pink wine and gossips like a woman...
The child will have no issue using a pink playroom.

I think it was a little ridiculous she specifically picked out pink for the playroom knowing she was pregnant. Like... you picked pink for the girls. She’s not picking pink clothing or gender neutral outfits so why is the playroom any different?

I personally would have gone with less pink (there’s a lot) but whatever. She’s not very smart.

Maybe by the time the boy is able to use it, Bailey will have outgrown it and she’ll pick out new furniture. Especially since she loves spending money!

Maybe so. I would add some grays in there. But she is right on this one thing. My son is 19 months and loves bright colors. He gravitates to “girl” toys more than “boy” toys. If he could pick between a pink doll house or a blue monster truck..it would be the doll house or the baby doll. I’ve even considered getting him a baby doll with a stroller. So I don’t think it would really matter. Toys are toys and he will most likely play with their hand me downs. My daughter will be getting all of my sons hand me downs. This is the only thing Tara sounds smart about though.
