I do not know how she gets and retains subscribers(or sponsorships)... I would have thought that her tendency to silence members whenever they do not agree or praise her would result in a HUGE drop of subs. It is interesting though that she has almost 200k subs and many of her videos get below 10k views...not impressive percentage-wise.

I watched another YouTuber who said rinky dink Canadian influencers like Elle get lots of big sponsorships because the pool of influencers is so much smaller compared to the American market. Elle could most likely get any sponsorship she wants simply because a) she’s Canadian and b) she has a high subscriber count (despite the abysmally low percentage of views - like 2-5% for the average video).

You’re right though, it is shocking that the companies would send her so much free swag like phones and high end strollers etc if her view count is so low. I’m assuming most of her viewers are age 25 and below. This group does not consist of parents, homeowners, or people who can afford to buy luxury items such as Apple watches or $600 worth of facial products. What a waste.

I think it would depend on the sponsorship. Those $6000+ sponsorships are likely few and far between. I do think the reason why she does so many ads is because her channel itself generates next to no income so she has to constantly put out sponsored content.

Yes! I thought it was funny how she was talking about her comment section at therapy. Here’s some free advise for you Elle- if YouTube is a topic in therapy... you should give it up. It’s actually unreal to me that she would continue with a job that sends her to therapy. It goes to show that her narcissistic need for validation actually outweighs her sanity. She may be clinically insane.
