I know with kids you can’t keep your house tidy all the time, but seriously what I saw in the bedroom today and the mud room the other day reminded me of an abandoned house video I watched recently. I get the rill life and all, but I would be too embarrassed to film my house if that’s how it looked. The time it took for Evie to pick up the socks, Ashley could have straightened up the rest of the room, even with a camera in her hand. I keep a clean, tidy house and without meaning to sound judgemental, I struggle to understand how a home can look like this. It’s just a case of being organised, put things away as you finish with them. There are enough people living in that house to keep on top of it. I think why I find it easier to comment about the state of their home is that they are, and have constantly crapped on about being ocd and how they like things clean .

The adults that can’t seem to do a damn thing + the 4 children in that house could easily tidy things up so it didn’t look like such a trash pit. Make the girls pick up their shit and it won’t look like that. My kids are perfectly capable of cleaning up much larger messes and there’s only 2 of them.
And about the instastory on QTK ig---why would you sit there filming a child picking up socks? It's the perfect opportunity to say, "Good idea. I'll help you tidy." It's not as if there was nothing else that needed doing in that room.
I just have to put this here because I only saw it today and will probably forget. The Aussie new 'bestie' of Trash, Jacqui, had lip stencils stamps on her hand instead of the stripes of the Lipshit colors that they all do. People were asking where she got them and she told them how to get them.. Curious how long before CopyMotherOfCats will be showing those lip imprints/stencils on her hand...
Maybe this is the stencil she was trying to explain to SpreadMyLegsWIdeInThinBaggyShorts. Maybe it will be used in the girlsess' rooms. She does owe her and FatBoy's livelihood to the girls, so that might seem appropriate for a decoration for the bedrooms.

Is Evie the color purple answerer? The reason I ask is the cat is sitting 6 inches from the bin and she puts the socks in the bottom of her shirt to transport them. She may be only four, but can't she figure out either to move the bin closer or just pick them up en masse and throw them in the bin? Or would that be too much higher level thinking going on for her -

The girls are plenty old enough to tidy up the minimal toys in their bedrooms and flatten out the minky blankets on their beds. There doesn’t appear to be anything else in their rooms.
All the mixed socks is a recipe for disaster. Buy one colour and one size. Socks is a pet peeve of mine! Lol!! Hubby has black billabong ankle socks, crew black everlast socks. Son has puma ankle socks and crew black adidas my girls have the other unlabelled black ankle sock and currently have dark blue crew socks. Kids have to wear black socks to school - hence all the black! Far easier to keep track when everyone can quickly see whos is whos.
