I mentioned Shane Dawson earlier and how Bryan would love to be like him. Well he hit 20 Million subscribers today, having experienced a SIGNIFICANT subscriber jump last year based off his new documentary style series on YTers. Late 2017 hired a camera man to follow along with him. Shane was far more wealthy and successful than Bryan when he met and hired Andrew. Off topic, I don't watch Shane, but I give him props for being on YouTube for so long and being able to grow his audience like that.

I don't think Bryan & Missy, or many of the family vloggers are going to have that longevity.

I thought it was very unlikely that Missy could be pregnant his morning, but after watching her live on IG I’m not so sure. Her face definitely looks puffy and her nose wider. No tummy or anything though.

Bryan sounded super pretentious when he’d talk about the channel direction. I can’t stand Missy, but she seems very subdued in a way that really makes me think something has happened in the last year that bring her down to earth. There is a story there that we missed out on. A health scare for Papa? Maybe even Bryan? Another miscarriage?

Something happened that they couldn’t talk about because they didn’t have the right platform for it.

I also think it’s going to be someone else filming them “behind the scenes”. They keep saying that we get to come with them for the first time. I bet it’s going to show them shopping for their elaborate setups, editing videos, sitting around the table coming up with ideas etc

I’d bet most people watching that trailer didn’t get the deeper meanings and Easter eggs they were talking about. A way to rack up views by having people go watch again and again.

Still not going to put out a daily vlog. Bryan said they’d been doing that for 5 years which isn’t true. This last year they really haven’t had a set schedule (they’ve had comments about that). When this new thing comes out they won’t have put anything out for 2 weeks except for that clip.
They’re trying to get away with not doing any of the work since they’re so busy.

Bryan is so pretentious with the attitude, sunglasses in the house, fake laugh and interrupting her. Sorry, but he’s coming off more and more like everyone has said for awhile. Just come out with it and everyone would be so much happier!

They’re grasping at straws to find content without doing the work.

I was hoping they were just going to go back to daily vlogging. I would watch them again. I still wouldn’t like them but they would gain a daily viewer back (and I’m sure I’m not the only one).

Wtf, I don’t see how the video was any different to the same produced child-aimed shit they have been pumping out for the past year. I cringed so hard when I saw “Chewbacca” pop his arm out of the closet and the glowing under the door (my take on this is that it is a head nod to the secret door bullshit).

It is in stark contrast from what the implication of the video they posted the other day said they would be bringing to the table and the complete opposite of what most people, aside from the 8-year-olds, who watch their channel are interested in seeing - as evidenced by the comments on said video!

Sigh.

Exactly a year ago I said this:

I’m predicting a produced segment-style show.
It’ll be pre-filmed toy reviews, crafts, story time and kids songs, broken up with vlog-style clips in between. I also expect Missy’s channel to start a regular schedule of beauty and mom product reviews. All sponsored of course.
Within 18 months they’ll have guest “hosts” and phase out the vlog segments entirely. I think they’ll transition to Missy being the face of a show like the Mom’s View, but geared towards tweens. Bryan will be completely behind the scenes in less than 2 years, aside from musical segments.
I think that Ollie and Finn will also see less screen time. They’ll get trotted out to test out toys and crafts, and dance to whatever kid songs Bryan puts together. And the obligatory Byeee-boop of course. Which I fully expect to get incorporated into an end credit song a la Lawrence Welk.
“Adios, au revoir, auf wiedersehen BYE BOOP!”

I’ll amend this a little. I think it’ll still be highly produced segments. Like a TLC show. Sit down talking head “interview” style with clips of what they’re doing. (Eg- like the original Jon&Kate plus 8, them in the chair, describing the activities of the episode).
I think each family member will have their own segment. Maybe even their own channel. Papa and Ollie will have an “Adventure” segment, with reptiles and building projects, Cassie and Carlos will document their wedding plans, Missy will do... Missy things.

I am expecting a full “Keeping up with the Kardashian’s” kind of show.

Why would the fact that Ellie and Jared now have three kids instead of two affect him? He makes it seem like he hates their kids honestly. What’s he gonna do if they ever have third and the kids constantly outnumber him? I just think it’s stupid to blame tommy when it’s been so long since they’ve done it anyways.

I haven't watched them in a long time. By "Missy things" do you mean horse-related stuff? I can't really imagine much else. Maybe a few interviews from her walk-in closet about her recent trip to the spa or possibly a trip to Starbucks with the boys as they "play hooky" from school.

No. They never filled out some paperwork (I assume social security or something.) They did it in that vlog. They’re idiots.
