We bought our first house when my oldest was 4. I told him he could have absolutely anything in his room he wanted. He wanted the night sky on his roof. So I found the bluest paint I could find and found some glow in the dark stars and we stuck them on to form the constellations. And he added a round light shade for the moon. So every night after a story we would lay there and find all the stars. Mind you this was nearly 40 years ago so I'm sure there are more sophisticated things out now but it was a wonderful time. We had a book to work from and we could spend half an hour finding the right star. Magical times.

We did stuff very similar to what you did. My kids have always been able to pick out and tell me what colors they wanted for their rooms and how they wanted them decorated. Obviously not newborns but as soon as they were old enough to talk. These nitwits have the money to hire someone to come in and paint beautiful and magical murals on the walls. If you can afford a $1400 purse then you can afford that. Poor girls are the money makers in this family and they still get the shaft. As long as mommy and daddy dearest get what they want then that’s all that matters. When my husband and I first started out we didn’t have a lot of extra money for stuff for us or money to decorate the rest of the house but we made sure our kids rooms were painted and decorated for them. That’s what most parents do. They do without so their children can have or do things. The Greedturds think it’s supposed to be the other way around. They are so selfish and ignorant. Here they have a child that stutters and instead of getting her help they ignore it. They have the money to pay for a speech therapist to come to their house. I have a relative that never got help for his stutter. Poor guy is in his 20’s and is so self conscious about speaking to anyone. He is miserable. He hates his parents for not getting him help. His parents were selfish assholes like the Greedturds. He had a horrible childhood because he was bullied so much every single day. They had the money to get him help but his mother liked to shop instead. I even offered to pay for it and take him and his parents refused. All during school he would get sick to his stomach every time he had to get up to give a speech or presentation. He says his life could have been so different if only his parents had actually cared. See what you are doing to your miracle child assholes? There is no shame in admitting your child needs some help.
