I don’t remember the PSA. I’m pretty sure they’ve said something like “we know, not supposed to feed them bread” but then did it anyway.

They did a PSA. Kinda joked about it but ended up saying they didnt realize they werent supposed to feed them bread and brought something else instead.

They did a PSA. Kinda joked about it but ended up saying they didnt realize they werent supposed to feed them bread and brought something else instead.

Cullen was actually kind of a dick about it. People told them they weren't supposed to feed ducks bread, _especially_ white bread, and he started the vlog holding a loaf of white bread, saying "This is for the ducks", and then got all snarky saying something like "Before y'all freak out in the comments, we know we're not supposed to feed them bread. We got told many times"
So I guess the PSA must have been after that?

They’ve always been like that too. Every single time I can remember that lots of commenters disagreed with something they do or say, they are extremely passive aggressive about it (like with the pacifier comment I mentioned a few days ago.) Like Bonnie, they really need to learn that if they plan to live a public life, they will get push back/advice/criticism from viewers. Either learn to ignore it completely or address it politely.

Cullen looks like he's lost a lot of weight in the last few weeks. In Katie's live chat video he looks a bit underweight. Is that normal for someone in recovery? Or maybe he just used to have "coke bloat" and that's gone away??

Usually people gain weight _after_ detox because they start eating more. Detox itself can take it out of you.
But if he is still thinking he can drink "on weekends" I don't really think he's in recovery. He's got a ways to go.

Yes, it was Cory. Cullen doesn't have a smoker.. he said they were at C&B's house.

OMG i feel so sorry for Katie!! I swear you can see the swelling getting worse every story she posts! My husband is predisposed to boils like that (thankfully he's never had one on his face, i can't imagine how painful it it!!) and he is miserable with pain when he gets one. Katie probably shouldnt have popped the zit, but... we all have. I don't think i have EVER seen katie with a straight up zit though, she's always seemed to have pretty clear skin, so if i were her i probably would have been suspect if it in the first place, but i'm a picker so.... i can't say i wouldn't have picked at it.

Also some people just have staph, and it's not from lack of hygiene or bad habits. They are just carriers. My niece has had a couple staph infections and her dr told her that she just has to be extra careful with wound care bc she is predisposed too it. It's terrible.

I think people are going to be very surprised when Cullen and Katie are shown drinking still. I feel like they get passes and forgiveness that other YTers wouldn’t, and I don’t get why. Just because Katie had a better upbringing? She isn’t better than anyone. She’s lazy, selfish and enabling. If they lived in a small apartment or trailer, and were less photogenic, I doubt people would be as likely to excuse their mistakes.

A lot of people on this board seem to have swept the supposed addiction and marital issues under the rug just like Katie did. You don’t heal either one as quickly as they have led you to believe.

Cullen nor Cory were ever shown drinking or even holding a drink in the IG stories. There were two bottles sitting on the grill. sure one of them could have been Cullen's, but by the same token, maybe neither of them were drinking and it was used in the cooking of the chicken wings, not unheard of. People can make whatever assumptions that they want, and i'm not dumb enough to think cullen wasn't drinking, just saying they were at cory's and it was never shown that either of them were drinking. Just stating what was shown and what is assumption.

I for one won't be surprised if he is still drinking, bc in the last podcast he says they are both still drinking, but only on weekends and in moderation. I don't agree with it, only bc if he's supposed to be in NA/AA then that means no drinking. He claims, like Britney, that drinking wasn't his problem and that he can control it and is controlling it, but i guess we shall see if it continues to be a problem. I just think it's really strange that he feels like he needs NA to stop smoking weed, but doesn't think his drinking is an issue at all. It's just 2 complete opposites on the scale to me. Katie never thought her drinking was an issue in the first place, so why would she stop? In her eyes this is cullen's problem, (if she even considers his drinking a problem, bc he sure doesn't) and she's washed her hands of his problems.

All in all, if they want to drink on weekends and on super bowl sunday i don't have an issue with it (as long as they are responsible, of course) but i do have an issue with Cullen acting like he's on this huge sobriety journey when in reality he;s just stopped smoking weed and cut back on drinking. Too me that means one of three things... his "addictions" are being blown out of proportion for sympathy/views, he is not taking NA/AA seriously and thinks he doesn't need it.. OR.. Katie has unrealistic views on weed and she caught Cullen smoking after he told her he stopped and she told him he had to go to NA and stop smoking before he could come back to the house. Seeing as though he admitted to only attending like 3 meetings and doesn't seem to be taking the whole complete sobriety thing seriously, i lean towards him going to meetings to appease Katie. Since Katie doesn't care if he drinks, but she cares A LOT that he was smoking. He said something in the last podcast that Britney called him out on... He was complaining about someone mention the drinks he had on the table in the vlogs right after him claiming he was going sober.. he was like "first off screw you, i can have a drink if i want one..." and Britney cut him off and was like wait a min... people have a right to say that bc with NA the concept is to be completely free of all substances. Cullen shut up after that and was like "ohh... ok.. well" like he had no clue that was the main idea of the program. He also called the meetings "so much fun" and was talking about how much fun he has had at the 3 meeting he has attended. I've never been to a meeting but i don't think that's the best way to describe one. I don't think he is taking it seriously at all, which leads me to believe hes just dong this to make Katie happy.

TLDR: He's probably still drinking bc he doesn't think it's a problem, and if they have cut back to only occasional drinking and stick with it and that works for them then cool, good for them. I don't think Cullen is taking NA seriously, and i don't even think he knows what the basic principals of it even are. I think he's stopped smoking weed and Katie thinks he needs NA for that so he went to a couple meetings to shut her up. If he has quit whatever substance it was (weed or otherwise) and that has made their relationship better, then great for them, but Cullen either needs to get SOBER... or stop acting like he's trying to get sober, when in reality all he's done is stopped smoking weed.

I think the weed story was a huge con to try and take Cullen’s reveal back to appease Katie. I don’t think that was his larger issue at all.

She likely enabled an issue much larger than marijuana. That’s the story they want to tell, but I don’t have to buy it. If you go back and listen to Cullen’s initial reveal, the weed story doesn’t exactly make sense. Neither does his new story of Katie being perfect and not having an issue herself.

They just want to be able to drink again in the vlogs without being questioned on it. Like someone who reveals their bad relationship, and then expects their friends to forget what they said once they get back together with their asshoke husband.
